Chapter Forty -Four

" Hey guys! I think someone stays in that house." Charlotte said as she drags her luggage inside and shut the door.

" Why did you say so?" Aiden ask her.

" I think I saw someone behind the curtains now."

" Our curtains?" Barrett asks.

" No! The curtains of the other house. But before I look clearly the person had already cover up." She said raising up their heavy curtain that cover the glass door at the left side of the living room.

" Why's there a door here? When it's not far from the main door?" Sharon asked Samael,as she walk close to Charlotte and stand in front of the glass door looking at the glass door of the other building that has a heavy blindfold curtains covering it. The two buildings had the same structure, the glass door of the buildings is facing each other and without the heavy curtains one can easily see what is going on in the other house living room.

" It was constructed that way." Samael answered her, packing the food bags to the kitchen.

" A single engineer must have constructed the two buildings here for no reasons?" Barrett asked.

" This place smells fishy." Charlotte added.

" I got that too, when I first came here. I think the buildings were constructed as a cover up for something. Look at it, it's very alike, I could have called it the same building if not that we repainted our side." Sharon mentioned still looking at the other house in awe.

" Alright guys!;We are not here to fish out mysterious things about this island. So let stick to the plans and motives. So gather up guys, and Charlotte put down the curtains please have switch on the lights." Aiden said calling their attention.

" Let go!" Charlotte taps Sharon on the elbow as she rolls down the curtains.

"Now, here we are! We have arrived at Devon Island, but am giving you guys today as a resting day since it's late."

" Listen up people! I am your captain and team leader and my assistant here with me is Aiden. Before you take any decisions, I mean decision concerning the project. You must seek my permission first or my assistant permission before taking any decision."

" What type of decision may that be?" Mitchell stood up to ask before seating down.

"Decision like, going to explicit an avenue, search, exploration,leaving without informing anyone and taking risk by yourself. Now note this, anyone that take a risk by him or herself and end up in danger, did that on his or her own accord and we shall not be held responsible for his or her actions."
