Chapter Fifty-Seven

After she said her name, an uncomfortable silence settled in the room and they all look at each other faces; deliberating who to apologize for Mitchell mistake. Samael murmured to Aiden; that he should apologize since she was his teammate.

Aiden stood up as If he was controlled by soon strange forces, he turn to face Florida and bow diligently to her.

"I apologize for my teammates..... I mean friend mistake, on behalf of everyone. we are deeply sorry"

He said still bowing diligently.

"Am not offended, she is a strange outspoken person."Florida said faking a smile. But deep inside of her,she know she already got one enemy.

"No!she is just plainly rude. But if you see it as outspoken I would like you to keep thinking of her like that."Aiden said;his brows creased a little, and he sit down back.

" Let not make the dinner wired! Please call me Florida; I don't really like the widow tittle."

" Why should we call you. by your name?" Frederic asked.

" You obviously look older than all of us here." Barrett added.

" I would like us to build a close and friendly relationship, so I think calling me by my name would help build that relationship." She smiled once again; sipping her wine.

" If that is what you want Florida....." Samael said; lifting up his wine glass. " Cheers to a new friend!" He made a toast and they all said cheers; and gurgled the wine down their throat.

" So you guys tell me, how did you happen to come and stay here?" She asked; serving some fruits on her plate, trying to act friendly.

"we are not really here to stay,we came for a tour."Sharon replied and looked towards Samael.

"Are you guys tourist?"she asked eating a small piece of apple.

"Yes!"Aiden replied shortly,He took a plate and placed a sausage dipped in pepper and onion sauce,then placed it in front of Sharon.

"I would like that too."Charlotte said, and he served the same for her.

"So how long are you staying here?"she asked again, resting her chin on her palm;that stood on the table thanks to her elbow.

"Till we get summoned.......we just came for sight seeing."Samael said aloofly;he continue eating without looking at Florida.

"So if you know any cool and nice location,let us know"Barrett said, smiling at her.

" I know of alot! But are you sure that is the only reason why you guys came to this deep and dangerous island?"Florida asked, slightly raising her voice so she could draw the attention of all of them.

"Yes! it's a private company related matter. we can't disclose anything to you."Aiden replied her; reducing the tension in the room.

"I see."that was the only thing that escaped her lips.

"like I predicted, they could still lie it to my face"she thought within her, and that made her smirked a bit.

"You are a amazing cook,do you make all this yourself?"Charlotte asked her; biting a piece of chicken.

"yes if you guys don't mind I would like to take you somewhere tomorrow."

"where?"Frederic asked; interested in what she was saying.

"it's called lake duno,it is a beautiful sight to be hold. Especially at night, it looks like a realm on earth. it has beautiful rainbow and falling stars."she smiled." it's a nice tourist area,you will get beautiful pictures".

"I almost forget,what do you come to do deep in this dangerous place?where are your family?"Mitchell asked, hitting the nail on the head.
