Finally pulling himself together after his freak out, he looked at Zijie who had cupped his face into his hand, looking so frustrated and anxious.

Chris didn't like seeing him like that. If it was any other person, he wouldn't have given a damn but this was Eric's friend, his brother-in-law's friend so he had to help him.

Come to think of it, when did Yui stop liking Ren? Just how much did he miss while he was asleep?!!

' Focus will you?' Cris said. 'Tsk' Chris responded before looking back at Zijie.

"Okay, Zijie, tell me, what are you so scared of?" Chris asked, bringing Zijie out of his thoughts. He looked up at Yui with a questioning look. What was he so scared of? He.....he actually...... Didn't know. He didn't know.

His eyes widened at the realisation. Fuck! He was so screwed.

"I heard you're the 10th prince of Hexie. Considering your position, there's a lot of competition. So, why don't you just give up the throne and be with Yui?"

"Is not that easy. You can't just give up just like that. I have people who have expectations from me and that is what I hate the most. I know I might not get the chance of being throned but I can't give up either. What would become of my mother and sister?" Zijie said with a devastated look. He really hated the idea of his mother disliking him. His mother and sister were the only ones who truly loved him, he couldn't bear to lose them.

And he couldn't bear to lose Yui either. What had Yui Horie done to him?!!

"Okay, so you are not afraid of losing your position but you are just afraid of failing the people who are expecting so much from you?" Zijie slowly looked up at Yui. That was it. That was one of his problems.

"You know Zijie, is good when people expect great things from you, it makes you want to be strong and give it your all. But there's also a limit. If you focus so much on accomplishing their expectations, you will end up losing your happiness, what makes you happy because you're always busy finding ways to meet the people's expectations. What about you? What makes you happy Zijie?"

Zijie listened attentively to Chris's magical words which played again and again in his head and heart.

"Sometimes you should also be selfish. I know is not going to be easy considering you're a prince and Yui's not. You're rich and he's ten times richer"

Zijie laughed at Chris's words, "You have a family and he have his brother and we all know the relationship between them isn't that great. And then, there's you being a servant of a god and him a demon who also have criminal records. Who am I kidding, he's even changed with a crime right now as he walk free and lastly, you're both men"

Now that was the bigger problem. It wouldn't have been that of a big deal if Yui was all that Chris mentioned but was a girl. Being male was the bigger problem. They wouldn't accept them. He just knew and that depressed him more than anything else.

"Is not going to be easy but know that you won't be alone. You won't be fighting alone because you will have me, Fred, Eric, Ren and the others and lastly, the person you gave up everything for, the person you love so much and know he love you too. The person who gives you more strength than anyone else. The one who makes you stronger. We might not be able to replace your family or fill in the gasp but we will be enough for you" Chris said with a smile.

Zijie nodded, tears streaming down without him realizing. Fuck! These brothers really knew how to directly touch a heart. Zijie thought before he once again cupped his face into his hands.

"If what I said didn't enter then I will cut it short, give up on fear and go be with Yui because you won't be able to leave him"

Zijie burst out, laughing as he wiped the tears.

Ren stood there, watching a sad looking Marie who was seated on the bench in the garden. He and Eric had been looking for Marie all over the house, finding no trace of the little girl, he decided to come out and check out.

He was glad he did because he ended up finding her. What was she doing here? It was so cold outside and Shit!, the kid looked so sad. What had the real Ren Creak and Eric Creak been doing to the poor child apart from ignoring her.

This, this was all Elina and May's fault. They were going to pay for it!

Ren thought and began walking, heading to where Marie was.

Now that he thought about it, he wondered what happened between May and Mary. If May was here then what about Mary? Poor Mary, the girl had no idea she was just being used and yet she gave her all to that traitor called May.

He hoped Mary was okay. Since there was no way to get into contact with her, he could only hope she was okay.

Reaching Marie, Ren took a seat beside Marie who didn't notice his presence because she was so lost in her thoughts. She was just a kid, what was thinking about?

"M.." Remembering what Marie was called in this world, Ren changed the name, "Losey, what are you doing?" The kid snapped out her thoughts and moved back in fear, even shaking. Why was the kid always so scared?

"There's no need to be afraid Losey, come here" Ren said with his hand stretched out to Marie. Marie hesitated, but slowly, she took Ren's hand. The kid's hand was so cold.

Ren pulled the kid into his arms. It was ice cold out here and she wasn't even wearing any coat, was she trying to freeze to death?

Ren hugged her tighter. Shit! It was really cold, "Let's go inside Losey, is cold out here" Marie nodded and allowed Ren to pick her up into his arms and take her back into the house.
