Chapter 1: The soul and the voice

Hi, my name is ..... interesting I don't remember that probably what happens when you die, or is it that I have been floating in this void of blackness. Have you ever been in a cave where all the lights are out and you can feel the darkness it's like that except I can't feel, see, or anything really. All I can do is talk to myself and try to remember what my life was like. Oh did I tell you I died that is why I am here in this void? I died by a car I was your average person 30 if I remember had a 9 to 5 job as a guard or was it a bouncer, don't remember don't care. All the job did for me is allow me to make money for my hobby of playing videogame not just any videogame but the mass effects. Oh, how I would love to be reincarnated there.

"Interesting child you can still wish and think." said a deep smooth voice.

-What! Who said that am I not alone and I going crazy- I thought

"No my child you were supposed to or at least go blank. Then I would be able to clean your karma and reincarnate you but at last, not this time. This time you are still mostly there even after millions of decades."

-Well what going to happen to me wait did you say millions of decades that did not feel that long then again all I did was think about Mass-Effect as I did on earth so no wonder I did not feel the passage of time.-

"Well, normally I would destroy your soul and make a new one out of what remains but that is for the ones that go insane evil ones. You are not either of these categories so I am going to have some fun and give you your wish to be reincarnated into the mass-effect universe."

-Do I get 3 wishes like in those web novels?-

"Yes but no what I will do is hear your request and then if I find they are good the universe will find a way to make them come true that means no system"

-so as long as I can find something that is possible in the mass-effect universe you will allow me to gain it-

"within limitations but remember if you will have to gain it through work and/or pain"

-Can I be a human chimera of the other alien races Oh can I also look closer to a human? Would it be possible to be part of Shepherd crew in the first mass effect? Also, can I be able to use all the abilities from all the categories? The last thing I want is an unbreakable will if that is possible.-

"Hmm yes those things should be possible but as for the abilities you will have to learn and train yourself I will give you the mind to be able to but it is up to you to train it. The Unbreakable will is an interesting thing to ask for from someone that is unbroken from a place that is made to break you but why not remember that it goes to all aspects so if you have a will of laziness then you will do nothing with this new life of yours."

Suddenly I felt this great suction force behind me whisking me away from the void and I thought I heard "poor soul the pain and suffering he will go through"
