"Run! These monsters are unstoppable!"
"Damn it, how do we fight against so many monsters?"
"Shit, we're not like Bronski, we can't take them down!"
"No more fighting, no more!"
"Run—"
"This is hell, I just want to go home!"
"Ah! Help!"
General Ross's army crumbled under the assault of the lizard forces.
Soldiers scattered in all directions.
They had no choice but to flee!
Facing the giant lizards was overwhelming. Without exceptional marksmanship to accurately target and disable them, they stood no chance against the lizard army.
...
General Ross's face darkened as he peered through the telescope. His air force was swiftly neutralized, losing a third of its strength in moments.
His navy faced relentless assaults from Christopher's fortresses, sinking one after another. His ground troops, shattered and demoralized, scattered in disarray.
Now, his last hope lay with the Abomination and his team of humanoid monsters to eliminate Christopher.
The Abomination led his cohort aboard an armed helicopter to confront Christopher, only to have their journey cut short.
Unluckily for them, their helicopter was downed by Flying Fortresses mid-flight.
The aircraft exploded, but fortunately, being monsters, they sustained minimal damage. However, plunging into the sea meant a half-hour swim to shore—precious time in a battle.
General Ross watched helplessly as the Abomination and his crew hit the water through the telescope, his face contorted with frustration.
His forces, including the formidable Abomination, were now all but subdued—a situation that left him uneasy and grim-faced.
No matter how uncomfortable they felt, everyone knew they had to pitch in.
He directed several speedboats to retrieve the Abomination and his crew.
On the SHIELD side, discovering General Ross's forces brought instant relief. Their mood lifted, no longer weighed down by earlier anxieties.
Despite General Ross's troops appearing overwhelmed, their presence alleviated some pressure for SHIELD. Furthermore, Ross had eleven humanoid monsters, significantly bolstering their chances against Christopher.
...
On Christopher's side, after a grueling half-hour of battle, he finally dispatched the Super soldiers.
Exhausted.
Utterly drained.
He halted his assault and took a breather.
After a minute's rest, feeling rejuvenated, he resumed his onslaught.
Fury redirected all SHIELD forces to eliminate Christopher.
Thus, the airborne carrier was breached, its interior largely seized.
Infuriated, SHIELD operatives regrouped and charged towards Christopher.
Abandoning firearms, they opted for melee weapons.
Daggers, swords, chains—cold steel gleamed in their hands.
Chains, especially, were readied to ensnare Christopher before striking the fatal blow.
"Charge!" Hawkeye bellowed, leading the charge.
His teammates followed suit, voices raised.
Hawkeye sprinted, releasing arrow after arrow.
Three explosive arrows streaked toward Christopher.
He made no move to evade.
The arrows detonated upon impact, yet he emerged unscathed.
"Bring it on!" Christopher roared.
Seeing Christopher's resilience, Natasha swiftly ordered her flying ant swarm to assault the carrier.
Enlarged and formidable, these ants' mandibles could pierce steel.
"Natasha knew that once they neutralized the aerial carrier, nothing would impede the advance of the flying ant colony, robots, lizard army, and mechanical creatures.
Countless flying ants began to swarm over the aerial carrier.
Crack, crack, crack...
Their mandibles relentlessly gnawed at the carrier's outer shell.
"Lizard army, attack," Natasha commanded.
Huh, hh...
Responding swiftly, the strong lizard army stormed into the carrier.
With SHIELD's forces overwhelming in numbers, they swiftly dispatched the robots and mechanical creatures surrounding Christopher, leaving him bloodied but only minorly wounded.
Christopher turned at the sound to see his lizard army arriving. He grinned, "Now let's even the playing field."
"Kill them," Christopher ordered, pointing at the SHIELD personnel.
The lizard army obeyed, savagely attacking the SHIELD agents.
Christopher refrained from joining the fray this time, focusing on his recovery. As the leader, he trusted his army to handle the assault.
"Quick, quick, kill these giant lizards!"
"Target their heads!"
"Take aim at their heads!"
Fury arrived amidst the chaos. He had to be here. With everyone from SHIELD present, this was their last stand.
Spotting Fury's arrival, Christopher waved his hand, commanding, "Attack! Tear him apart!"
The lizard army's close-quarter combat prowess was terrifying—teeth, claws, and tails served as deadly weapons.
Though caught off guard, SHIELD's extensive roster included many skilled operatives capable of fending off the giant lizards with nothing more than daggers.
Few minutes later, a familiar voice caught Christopher's attention from behind.
Turning, he saw Abomination accompanied by ten humanoid monsters.
"Hey Christopher, long time no see, buddy..."
"Bronsky, what's up? Here to cause trouble?" Christopher frowned.
"Worried about a challenge?" Abomination smirked.
"Not at all," Christopher replied confidently.
"Alright, to be honest, I'm here to stir things up," Abomination said.
"Sent by General Ross?" Christopher asked.
"Yeah, he wants the serums you swiped from SHIELD. Hand them over, and maybe I'll let you walk away," Abomination proposed.
"Your general is nuts! I only took ten bottles of serum from SHIELD, and now he sends the whole army after me? That's ridiculous," Christopher scoffed.
"Wait, you're saying you only took ten bottles?" Abomination looked surprised.
Christopher nodded, "Yep, that's the truth."
From Abomination's reaction, Christopher suspected SHIELD might be trying to stir up trouble.
Abomination roared, directing his anger at Fury hiding among his agents, "Fury, didn't you say Christopher stole all the serum from SHIELD? He says he only took ten bottles. What's up with that?"
"Bronsky, he's our enemy. Are you really going to trust him over us?" Fury shot back.
Quick to defend himself, Christopher jumped in, "Bronsky, think about it. I sent just one person to steal from SHIELD. How much could one person take?"
