Over 11 years had passed since the First War, and now, in the year 1973, the unfolding plot to reverse the future was set in motion.
"According to the cannon, now is the time to 'reverse the future.' Wolverine from the future will travel through time and space, and the soul will return to the present moment," Alex mused as he rose from his seat, gazing at the sky, and absentmindedly stroked his chin. "I haven't found an abnormality yet, meaning Wolverine hasn't come back yet?"
The key to altering the future lay in Raven. It was her genes that gave birth to the formidable "Sentinel."
"Huh? Eric? He came here?" Alex detected the approach of "Magneto" Eric towards his manor using telepathy.
"Eric, long time no see," Alex greeted telepathically, reaching across to connect with Eric, who had just disembarked from the plane.
"Alex, your mental power is not worse than Charles!" Eric exclaimed, momentarily surprised, then grinned and playfully touched his head. "Next time I come to you, I will also consider wearing a helmet."
"I don't want to see what's in your head," Alex replied with a smile. "In the past few years, your Brotherhood has developed quite well. Eric, I still have a few good bottles of wine here. Come over."
"I'm not here to drink. Alex, I need your help. Or rather, I want to ask Raven for help," Eric conveyed as he exited the airport, found a car, and sped toward the outskirts of London. He smiled and added, "I'll be there soon. See you shortly!"
"See you later!" Alex disconnected from the mental link, a faint smile playing on his lips. "Eric came to Raven. Is it because the dwarf scientist has developed a weapon against mutants? Does he want Raven's shapeshifting ability to steal that secret weapon?"
As the scene unfolded, Alex sensed that the narrative of "reverse the future" was about to take center stage.
"Alex, your life is so comfortable!" Eric's voice resonated in the living room as he entered, guided by the housekeeper.
"Welcome, Eric!" Alex greeted with a warm smile, rising to hug Eric. He swiftly poured a glass of wine for his guest, encouraging him, "Come on, taste it! This bottle of wine is pretty good."
"You really know how to enjoy!" Eric remarked, taking a sip and settling onto the sofa. He cut to the chase, asking, "Where is Raven? Why didn't you see her?"
"Still resting, I went hardcore last night," Alex explained with a smile.
"Oh~~" Eric's expression carried a sly undertone that every man could recognize.
"I'll get her," Alex assured, shaking his head at Eric's lack of seriousness.
.....
"Eric, you're here!" Raven's voice called out as she entered the room after freshening up.
"Alex, Raven, I am here this time because I have something to ask you for help. This is related to Mutant's survival." Eric pulled out a picture of a dwarf, pointing at it, and explained, "This man, Trisk, a dwarf. He has developed a powerful weapon against Mutant. I need Raven's help to retrieve the stolen information about this weapon."
"A weapon against Mutant?" Raven frowned, intrigued. "What weapon is so powerful?"
"The specific details are not clear. It is said that the weapon he developed can track Mutants. No Mutant can hide from it," Eric revealed, adding a layer of urgency to his request.
Eric shot a gaze up at Alex and declared, "Alex, we're all aware there's a slew of mutants lurking in the human crowd. They ain't keen on wrecking the peaceful setup. But with Trisk's weaponry, those hidden mutants, one after another, they're gettin' nabbed! We gotta put a stop to it!"
"Well, this does sound like a pickle!" Alex nodded, then threw his hands up toward Eric, expressing helplessness. "But it's up to Raven. I won't force her!"
