Arriving at the abandoned building, Arthur started testing his power. He first decided to start with his physical attributes and then go for his abilities and skills.

But before testing, Arthur checked out the entire building to make sure that there were no cameras or any other form of devices that could make anyone else aware about his existence.

The building was atleast 13 floors tall and looked to be abandoned in the middle of the construction. So it took Arthur some time to check each and every corner and fortunately, he didn't find anything.

Arthur also made sure to check for any signs that marked that this building was used by anyone. He did so as such abandoned building were usually the hideouts of some thugs or gangs or even sometimes criminals.

And it appeared that this building was really abandoned as there were no traces of human activities, though he did found some traces of animals but that wasn't much of a concern for Arthur.

Once he was sure that this building was completely safe for use, Arthur started testing his physical attributes. He first checked his strength and what better option was there then to lift some heavy items.

He looked around and quickly found a metal barrel and walked over. Arthur grabbed the barrel with two hands and tried to lift it and he was successful.

Obviously Arthur knew that he would be successful but humans always have that itch to try something even if you already knew that outcome and Arthur wasn't spared from that.

Arthur roamed around the area and tried lifting different things including but not limited to heavy tyres, huge boulders and large pieces of concrete.

But after some time, he decided to get serious. While he was searching for cameras and such, he found that there was a large quantity of rusted iron I-beams on the top floor.

He could try lifting them as they looked pretty heavy. Thinking so, he rushed towards the top floor and found the rusty iron I-beams. Each one of them was about ten meters long.

Arthur walked towards one and tried lifting it and he was able to do so easily. Instead, he checked one of the better preserved iron I-beam and found the words 24.20 KG/MTR.

It was the weight of the iron I-beam per unit meter. In other words, the single piece of iron I-beam which was around ten metres would be about 242 kilograms.

Arthur quickly glanced at all the pieces and found them to be more than 270. He also checked for the remaining floors and found another 400. But some of them were broken so after the fixed ten meter per piece criteria, they would total around 320.

Arthur used his telekinesis to carry all the pieces to top floor. Since the building only had floors and pillars for support and no walls, Arthur had no problem during the entire process.

He then lifted all pieces of iron beams on the top floor as well and merged all of them together.

*Crash**Crash**Crash*

The iron beams crashed into each other and started deforming due to the extreme force. Slowly but surely they merged into each other and formed a huge spherical piece of iron.

It weight alone must be more than 62 tons. Arthur lowered the huge iron sphere slowly and used his hands to lift it. Since he wanted to used only his physical strength, he temporarily disabled all the abilities that enhanced his physique.

The 62 ton iron sphere landed on Arthur's hands slowly and before long the iron sphere was lifted purely by his physical strength. But in the next moment, something literal happened.

*Crack**Crack**Crack*

The floor below Arthur started cracking due to the weight of the iron sphere. Arthur quickly used his telekinesis to lift the iron sphere. Only then did the cracks stopped increasing.

Arthur gently moved away from his position and arrived at another part of the top floor which was in better condition. He looked at the cracks and went on the floor below. The cracks were visible on the ceiling too even though the floor was around three-fourth meters thick. It was clear that the top floor may have collapsed if he were to use his telekinesis even a second late.

He then again climbed the top floor since the area near the stairs was already about to collapse. After arriving at the top floor, Arthur looked at the iron sphere and then at the cracks.

'This shouldn't have happened.' He thought to himself. After all, he was the one who would be lifting the iron sphere completely so there should not be any force applied on the floor. So the floor should not be the one to experience the weight of the iron sphere. But it did happen in his case. After pondering for some time, Arthur finally came to conclusion.

Generally, while lifting heavy objects, humans have a tendency to not only apply for through their hands but also with their feets. They would subconsciously use their feets to apply force on the ground which in return would apply a normal force on the body in upward direction. Due to the help of this force, humans are able to lift heavy objects more easily.

And Arthur, who was a normal human till yesterday, did it subconsciously since he still thought that the iron sphere should be really heavy though it was not the actual case for him. So the force experienced by the floor was not due to the iron sphere but because of the force applied by his feets which resulted in the first floor almost being destroyed.

Though Arthur wasn't one to back down as he knew that controlled power was more powerful than overpowered power. He didn't want a situation to arise where he has more than enough strength but was not able to use it due to his lack of control.

After thinking for some time to get his emotions in check, Arthur decided to try once again. But this time, he jumped towards an open area near the building as he didn't want to risk destroying the building.

After getting into position, Arthur once again stopped his telekinesis and used his hands to lift the iron sphere. But this time, he thought of it as a yoga ball instead of a 62 ton piece of iron.

And it was indeed successful. Though there were still some cracks on the ground, but they were visibly far less compared to the ones on the top floor. Arthur took some deep breath and calmed himself. He also relaxed his body as best as he could and the changes were instant. The cracks on the ground stopped expanding further.

Arthur sighed in relief and after some time seeing that the cracks didn't seem to be increased, he used his telekinesis to lift the iron sphere once again.

It was after this incident that Arthur remembered a quote from his previous life which he read once.

"Gaining power does make you strong but in order to be powerful, you must first learn to control your powers." Arthur softly muttered as he glanced at the still dark sky with bright twinkling stars.

He was fascinated by this mystifying world and had the urge to know just what lies beyond the world depicted in the movies.

But he quickly shook those thoughts away from his head and decided to head home. Being unable to control his strength was a shocker for him and he would need some time to adjust his mental state.

And since he powers didn't affect his normal actions, he wasn't worried to much. At most, he would have to be careful when performing actions that involves more force.

As for the huge iron sphere, Arthur simply decided to break it into smaller chunks and place it in the abandoned building. He willed his telekinesis to break the iron sphere into smaller pieces and after struggles, he was finally able to do so.

Once he placed all the smaller pieces of iron, Arthur used Absolute Invisibility and headed home.

On his way home, he has decided to make groups to segregate all the power levels. Arthur decided with four grades which were from low to high:

- Human

- Enhanced

- Superhuman

- Cosmic

These four grades may also be further divided into low, mid and high as per requirement. The Human grade was simple to understand. The Enhanced grade consists of beings who have surpassed human limits but were still within an acceptable range. Captain America and Black Panther falls under this category.

The Superhuman grades consists of beings who could be considered god-like by human standards but were not actually there. Hulk, Thor and Klyntarians (Symbiotes) falls under this category.

As for the last, the Cosmic grade, it includes all those beings whose powers have surpassed even imagination itself. The most notable beings in this category were Thanos with all six infinity stones, the final form of Scarlet Witch and the God of the Symbiotes, Knull.

While thinking about the grades, Arthur reached his home. He jumped into his room from the same window and closed it quietly.

He then changed his clothes and climbed into his bed. After picking up his phone, Arthur checked the time and realised that it was already the next day.

It meant that he had another opportunity to sign in.

"System, I wanna login."

NOTE - Dear readers, as you can see, Arthur is more cautious type of person which is depicted in the start of this chapter. Also, though he has gained the powers of Shadow Monarch, he has not mastered them. As for his normal actions like holding mug or something, they are not affected as there is a small subconscious limiter that blocks his body from applying more power unless Arthur thinks of using his powers.
