The darkness continued to get more compressed, and the white light moved away until it was just a point.
"I have to admit, you're brave!"
An annoyed voice from Chthon came from all directions.
"You dare to come to me alone and humiliate me like this. I don't know where you got the courage, but you have successfully angered me."
"No one has ever shown such disrespect towards me!!"
Indeed, Chthon was a famous figure, a fearsome God of Chaos, famous for tens of thousands of years.
He did not remember the last time he went outside, and it seemed like the rest of the world had forgotten how strong he was.
Now, even nobody was willing to take him on and slap him in the face.
The only way to get rid of this humiliation was to die.
He silently cursed in his core to extract Jack's soul and torment him for a thousand years, ten thousand years, to completely erase his hatred.
As he pondered how to deal with Jack, the tiny white light point suddenly shot out an extremely fast and bright light.
What?!
Chthon didn't have time to react.
He felt a familiar and destructive force instantly pierce his world, and a slender spatial rift quietly appeared.
"How is this possible?!"
Seeing this scene, Chthon's face was filled with disbelief.
He knew his world very well, and no one could easily tear through the space unless he were stronger than he was.
This human couldn't possibly be so powerful, so it must be related to that familiar power.
Before he could think too much, another force came out that was just as strong.
Chthon's heart trembled, and he knew he was in trouble.
Sure enough, this force didn't attack him but instead attached itself to the previously blasted spatial rift.
The rift, which had been slowly getting smaller, suddenly started expanding quickly.
"It's an Infinity Stone!!"
Chthon finally remembered where that familiar power came from.
It was none other than the top and unparalleled Infinity Stones in the multiverse.
This man actually controlled the power of the Infinity Stones, and he possessed at least two of them.
Chthon was indeed the god of dark magic, and because of that, he knew very well how incredibly powerful the Infinity Stones were.
As a member of the dimensional entities, he had not been able to invade Earth not just because of the magic barriers, but also because the Supreme Sorcerer, who protected Earth, held the Time Stone.
Even with just one Time Stone, he had to wait and even gather followers to reach his goals. With two, he had to do even more of that.
You see, the combined power of the six Infinity Stones could allow the wielder to destroy or create an entire universe with a single thought, as easily as eating or drinking.
At that moment, Chthon's heart started to hesitate.
Even if he won in the end, fighting someone who controlled the Infinity Stones would be a pointless victory.
This dark space was part of the source of his power, and if he left, it would probably be gone in an instant.
Even though it would not kill him, it would be a big waste for him.
So, despite the fear in his soul, Chthon had no choice but to face it head-on.
Now he could only hope that Jack wouldn't be able to fully unleash the power of the Infinity Stones.
Perhaps fate was on Chthon's side.
Just as he hoped, Jack couldn't fully unleash his maximum power, as he was only a consciousness projection, and his true body was still seated in the Dark Temple.
A humanoid figure appeared in front of Chthon, standing above the spatial rift.
"No! You can't do this!"
Chthon instantly understood Jack's intention, and his face changed dramatically.
He wanted to stop him, but it was too late.
Jack almost instantly exhausted all the power of this consciousness projection.
All his power combined into a point, and instead of attacking the darkness where Chthon was, it went straight down and poured into the incompletely sealed spatial rift.
"No!!!"
Chthon watched helplessly as that terrifying energy, which made even him shudder, poured into the rift.
He knew what was going to happen next and glared at Jack with hatred.
"Die!"
With a wave of his hand, the rushing and overwhelming dark magic rushed toward Jack, engulfing him quickly and killing him.
Chthon was still not satisfied after destroying Jack's consciousness projection, knowing that it had no impact on his true self.
But he didn't have time to confront Jack because the space rift below exploded.
The rift opened rapidly and quietly, as if the volume had been turned down halfway.
This made the whole dark space change. Cracks are getting bigger and bigger, threatening to take over the entire space.
Chthon watched this scene happen without being able to do anything about it.
All he could do now was run.
"I will be back!"
He roared unwillingly before disappearing.
After he left, the whole dark space disappeared instantly, as if it had never been there.
It can be imagined that Chthon's days will be difficult for some time to come.
On the other side, in the Dark Temple...
Jack opened his eyes, retracted his powers, and stood on the altar, letting out a sigh of relief.
By giving Chthon a warning like this, he hoped to make him wiser so that he wouldn't come to bother him again.
Otherwise, if he provoked him further, the next time his true self went to face him, ten Chthon... it might be a bit challenging.
Even if you tied two Chthons together, they could not beat him.
He never intended to reason with Chthon. These dark gods were all the same; it was better to rely on his strength rather than try to reason with them.
Taking another look at the Dark Temple, Jack thought for a moment and decided to leave it temporarily.
He would need this place again in the future to trouble Chthon.
"Hmm?"
Suddenly, Jack raised an eyebrow as he sensed an unusual power fluctuation.
Following the fluctuation, what he perceived almost made his jaw drop in shock.
"It's really... intense."
His gaze shifted to the other end, to the hidden sanctuary that had existed in the Himalayas for thousands of years, Kamar-Taj.
For some reason, it was now in ruins.
Inside the wreckage, smoke filled the air, bodies scattered, some unrecognizable, while others remained intact but no longer in human form.
And Wanda walked through the ruins until she reached the main temple where the sorcerers had made their last stand.
She came to find Miss America, but the sorcerers and even the whole Kamar-Taj tried to stop her.
This is what happened as a result.
Even someone as strong as Doctor Strange would not have dared to face her straight on.
Today, she had to achieve her goal, and anyone who stood in her way would die.
