Thanos

Loki, dressed like a reindeer and wielding the scepter Thanos lent him, boldly appeared in front of all the agents. He then went on a killing spree, sending a bunch of minor characters to their doom.

Using the scepter, which was embedded with the Mind Stone, he controlled Hawkeye and Dr. Selvig, the scientist S.H.I.E.L.D. had brought in to study the Tesseract (and Jane Foster's mentor).

Before the underground research base could be completely destroyed by the Tesseract's energy, Loki snatched it from Nick Fury's grasp. Then, he made a swift getaway.

Zane always had a nagging question. How could Thanos, an all-seeing, calculated cosmic overlord, entrust the Mind Stone to Loki, a trickster who was more of a troublemaker than a reliable ally?

In the original story, Thanos was portrayed as the most intellectually formidable villain. He didn't act when the Space Stone appeared. He didn't intervene when Loki carelessly left the Mind Stone on Earth. He remained inactive when the Power Stone and Reality Stone emerged. Thanos was like a viper, gathering intelligence and patiently waiting for the right moment.

It wasn't until the Ancient One, Earth's Sorcerer Supreme, and Odin, the protector of the Nine Realms, both died that Thanos finally made his move. He then coerced the dwarves into forging the Infinity Gauntlet by threatening their lives.

After this, he ruthlessly destroyed Xandar to seize the Power Stone and ambushed Thor's ship post-Ragnarok to obtain the Space Stone. The odds of two ships randomly colliding in the vast universe are infinitesimally small, more improbable than winning a massive lottery.

Clearly, Thanos had planned this meticulously. He observed the Marvel Universe from behind the scenes, waiting for the opportune moments.

In the end, Thanos succeeded in gathering all the Infinity Stones and executed his infamous snap, fulfilling his vision of universal population control.

Zane couldn't comprehend how someone as wise as Thanos could make such a rookie mistake. It seemed implausible that Thanos couldn't see through Loki's duplicitous nature.

Even a fool could tell Loki was a traitor at heart just by looking at his mischievous grin. Zane speculated that Thanos allowed Loki to bring the Mind Stone to Earth to gather intelligence. Thanos must have had a contingency plan embedded in the scepter.

Otherwise, how did Thanos know about Tony Stark in Avengers: Infinity War? Both Thanos and Odin stood at the pinnacle of five-dimensional beings. For Thanos, the presence or absence of one Infinity Stone didn't significantly impact his power. Only when all six were assembled did they become truly valuable to him.

However, Zane's unexpected presence in the Marvel Universe had already disrupted Thanos's grand scheme. For starters, the Space Stone and the Power Stone had already vanished from the Marvel Universe. Zane had already set his sights on the Mind Stone. Rather than engaging in a brutal battle with Thanos, it would be much simpler to snatch it from Loki, the troublemaker, here on Earth!

After Nick Fury was rescued from the rubble, battered and bleeding, by numerous agents, he managed to say just one thing before passing out:

"Contact them immediately. The war has begun!"

At the same time, the global surveillance network, Skynet, relayed this information to Zane. Zane simply nodded, indicating he understood, but made no immediate move. For something he could acquire anytime he wanted, Zane saw no need to act hastily and greedily.

From the moment Loki brought the Mind Stone to Earth, it was destined to be added to Zane's collection in the [Magic Furnace]. For now, his priority was accompanying the woman excitedly running through the mall.

Even as a god, Zane couldn't fathom the peculiar logic of women. Lorna, despite being a supreme ruler, still loved shopping. Zane, with his arms laden with bags, felt exasperated.

However, seeing Lorna and the others so happy, he swallowed his complaints and continued to act as a human shopping bag. As for Rocket, he was easily spotted among the moving merchandise behind Zane.

Meanwhile, Loki was gathering information from Hawkeye about Earth's powers and superheroes to start his plan. Unlike his brother Thor, who was all brawn, Loki understood the importance of intelligence gathering when entering a new world.

Zane himself had done the same, first visiting Asgard for star maps and cosmic information before venturing into the universe.

Hawkeye, a level seven agent, had access to most of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s files and was well-versed in the details of various superheroes, having participated in the assault on Zane five years ago. Although he had been quickly defeated, he had encountered many heroes.

Hawkeye pulled out a tablet and projected a virtual display.

"This is Tony Stark, known as Iron Man. He's an ordinary human but possesses a genius intellect, having invented numerous suits of armor. "

Loki watched Tony's image intently and nodded for Hawkeye to continue, not noticing the faint blue glow from the gem in his scepter as Hawkeye spoke. In an unknown corner of the universe, Thanos's eyes gleamed with satisfaction at Hawkeye's explanation.

His plan was working; Loki was his pawn on Earth. Thanos never intended for Loki to conquer Earth alone; he knew Supreme Sorcerer and the King of Norse Gods wouldn't allow it. If not for these powerful beings, Thanos would have dealt with Earth personally.

Hawkeye continued, swiping to display the next profile.

"This is Natasha Romanoff, also known as Black Widow. She's a super spy with a low threat level, similar in skill to me. Weakness: She's deeply troubled by her inability to have children and has deep guilt for her past actions."

"This is Dr. Bruce Banner, known as the Hulk. When angry, he transforms into a giant with immense strength. Threat level: high. Weakness: he's a gentle and refined man when not transformed and is deeply resistant to becoming a monster."

Hawkeye's tone became more serious as he spoke about the Hulk. No one who had witnessed the Hulk's unstoppable fury could underestimate him. Loki, watching footage of the Hulk pummeling superheroes, couldn't help but shudder.

"This is Thor, who claims to be the mythical God of Thunder. His abilities are…"
