CHAPTER 14 - 'Har Har Mahadev'

THIRD PERSON POV

"So what's the plan?"(Ryan asked the others.)

"We have been trying to find out their weaknesses but apart from physically destroying them no other method is found and more of the sentinels are being produced every day."(Beast)

"That does not sound promising."(Danny)

"Professor has discovered a peculiar group of mutants that always leave their base 1 or 2 days before the place is attacked by the sentinels we are going to meet them today to see if we can find anything else you can follow if you want."(Storm)

After meeting the group in an abandoned monastery in China it was found that the group could evade the sentinels because one of them had the ability to send the mind of a person to the past.

The professor spoke

"Boliver Trask was a leading scientist in the technology of his time but he started experimenting on mutants and mystique killed him after finding out the truth at Paris Peace Accords 1973 and was captured by his sympathizers and the task industries planned on using her DNA to develop a robot army that will eliminate every mutant and everyone who has the potential to become one but this plan was put down due to the presence of people like Howard Stark and Peggy Carter arguing against the disastrous consequences that this war can cause my guess is after the death of Howard Stark and miss Carter's retirement some people secretly restarted the project and after the fiasco only Alcatraz Island 16 years ago some people in the government decided to support them and this is the final monster they created."

"So what you plan to do?"(Bishop)

"I plan for you to send me back to 1973 so that I can stop mystique and prevent sentinels from being created."(Charles)

"I am sorry professor but even if I tried you won't  succeed as even your mind will break if we stretch it that much."(Kitty Pryde)

"Let me do it." Logan said, "If it is a problem caused by the mind breaking down I might survive my mind will just heal itself as it gets damaged."

They seemed unconvinced until the professor connected his mind to them and all of us and showed us what the sentinels were doing and how they were taking out mutants one by one as they were reeling at the horrific scenes and contemplating their options

Their leader suddenly almost fell but when he regained his balance he said

"I agree."(Bishop)

"What happened?"(Blink)

"I just came back from a future where we rejected them and left the place and the situation got a lot worse and nuclear weapons were launched." Bishop sounded scared.

"Shit, looks like we got no choice." (Iceman)

So the plan to change the past was put in motion.

And I knew this was the moment I was preparing for my whole life.

As I asked about how her ability she said

"I take the mind of a person and locates their past in the time stream and creates a channel for the mind to go through, but the longer the passage the greater the burden on the mind."(Kitty Pryde)

"What do you plan to do?"(Charles)

"I plan to hitch a ride together."(Ryan)

"Do you think you will survive?"(Charles)

"I don't know."(Ryan)

"Then why?"(Charles)

"Read my mind and you will know." Ryan said.

"I see, then I won't stop you."(Charles)

"What is it Charles?"(Magneto)

"I don't know how to explain it but maybe you can say that it is his destiny and trying to stop him won't help."(Charles)

"So he can succeed?"(Magneto)

"He might or he will die trying."(Charles)

"Can you send two people at a time?"(Ryan asked kitty who was holding her hands near Logan's head.)

and she replied

"I can't, I can only open one channel at a time."(Kitty Pryde)

"Is your channel physical?"(Ryan)

"No, I think it exists in something different from our physical universe but I transmit energy through it. What do you want to do?"(Kitty Pryde)

"What if my mental energy latches on to his brain?"(Ryan)

"I feel you would probably damage your mind." Kitty Pryde said as she looked at him like looking at an idiot.

And so he started preparing, despite her warning as her words meant it was possible.

As she started the transmission, his chi attached to Logan's mind was almost immediately destroyed as it entered the channel and failing he took a few steps back and used one of his his energy packs made by Stark to replenish himself.

He went outside the room where the battle had started and asked Danny if he could stop them all as he needed the help of the storm to which Danny replied

"I will do it but if you do get back to the past remember the promise you made me."(Iron Fist)

"Of course brother."(Ryan)

As he said he turned around and asked Storm to follow him

Danny stood before the door as his whole body started shining in a yellow light

"What is he doing?"(Storm)

"He is unleashing all the power inside his body to stop them but as a consequence of not being ready for that much energy his body is just destroying itself in the process."(Ryan)

"I have to help him!"(Storm)

"You can do it after a minute."(Ryan)

After taking a moment and replenishing his energy he look that or a Ororo Monroe, the storm and said!

"Charge up the strongest lighting you can without hurting others here and when I clench my fist let it pump into me."(Ryan)

After that, he took a deep breath walked near Logan and shouted 

"Har Har Mahadev!"

under his breath and clenched his fist.

MC POV

As I clenched my fist I felt the Bolt of lightning connect to my back and I felt the lightning running through my body.

I felt the world around me slow down as my thoughts moved much faster I felt my body giving up under the assault of lightning so I quickly moved and put my hands on Logan's head and gathered every ounce of my chi concentrated it and sent it through the channel.

I could feel it and before all my energy went through I separated two tiny pieces of it and embedded them within Logan's mind as lost all feeling within my body as it fell to the ground lifeless.
