As the bolt of lightning struck me, I felt the current coursing through my body, time seeming to slow down.

I sensed the lightning scorching my back and breaking into tiny currents that flowed into me. I experienced the rush of power both strengthening and destroying me simultaneously.

As I felt my body being burned, I tried to control as much of that rushing energy rampaging inside me, channeling it for my purpose. I harnessed my chi and at that moment I felt it, I knew it was time to guide all my power and stopped protecting my body from being destroyed as I focused on my goal.

I acknowledged my imminent death, with the current condotion of my body, death was certain, but it didn't bother me much, for if I succeeded this moment would be meaningful yet cease to exist and if I did fail, well, it's not like there is anyone left to mourn my death.

And then the moment came and I channelled my chi with such focus as I felt I pulled even my soul along almost causing me to falter yet I didn't.

"Har Har MAHADEV!"

And with a shout to the Lord, as I wished for his blessings, I pushed everything I had, every ounce of energy and everything that was me into that dark nothingness hoping for success.
