Chapter 134: Doctor Strange's Debut

The answer space immediately provided the answer, and it was marked as incorrect.

"I told you, according to Thor's Law, the answer should be A," Tony Stark couldn't help but say.

"Stark, option A is too far-fetched," Thor said, "I've never heard of anyone in the universe being powerful enough to crush Mjolnir barehanded."

"Just because you haven't heard of it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Maybe they just prefer to keep a low profile," Tony Stark replied.

"There's also one more thing, Thor. I remember you saying that according to the division of power in the Nine Realms, Earth belongs to your father's territory, right?" Steve Rogers spoke up.

"That's correct, Captain," Thor confirmed.

"So, if someone causes trouble on Earth, your father should intervene, right?" Steve Rogers continued, "Just like Thanos."

"Of course, if Thanos comes to Earth and causes chaos, that's a challenge to my father," Thor said, "and my father won't sit idly by."

"I'm sorry to nitpick, but where was your father when that happened?" Tony Stark interjected, "In that parallel world, when Thanos nearly killed the three of us single-handedly, where was your father?"

"Maybe he just didn't come at that moment and will arrive later," Thor said.

"Asgard has the Bifrost, which can descend to Earth at any time, and you also have Heimdall, who can see events in the Nine Realms," Tony Stark said, "Logically speaking, if Thanos came to Earth, your father should have been the first to find out."

"Stark, what are you trying to say?" Thor looked at Tony Stark.

At this moment, a light appeared in the space, and a video started playing.

In the beginning, Thor and Loki were standing on a street, watching a bulldozer digging through the debris of a building.

"I swear I left him here," Loki, dressed in a black suit, said, holding his arm.

"Did you leave him on the sidewalk or inside that building being demolished?" Thor, wearing jeans, also held his arm, "You planned this really well."

"How would I know it would turn out like this?" Loki had a look of helplessness, "I can't predict the future. I'm not a sorcerer."

"You're not?" Thor glanced at Loki, "Then why dress like one?"

"Heh~" Loki seemed somewhat dissatisfied with Thor's comments on his attire.

"I can't believe you're still alive." Thor continued to hold his arm, "I saw you die, mourned for you, and cried for you."

"Alright, I'm flattered," Loki said.

"Thor, I know you're not the brightest, but I didn't expect you to be this naive," Tony Stark couldn't help but say, "From the plot in this video, Loki fakes his death again, and you fall for it again! Loki tricked you once during the Battle of New York, and you fell for it perfectly, and now he's tricked you again! You really never learn."

"First of all, this hasn't happened yet, and secondly, that's the version of me from a parallel timeline, not the me standing before you now," Thor's expression remained unchanged.

"Hey, can I take a photo with you?" However, not everyone looked down on Thor like Iron Man. In the video, two girls boldly came up to Thor and asked for a photo.

"Of course, you can." Thor happily took a photo with the two girls and even made a scissor gesture in the picture.

"I heard Jane broke up with you, don't be sad." As the girls were leaving, one of them suddenly said.

"She didn't break up with me." Thor couldn't admit that, "It was a mutual decision. We broke up with each other."

"So, Thor was fooled by Loki again, but this time, it happened after the Battle of New York," Steve Rogers spoke up, "During the Battle of New York, only a few of us Avengers knew about Thor's involvement. But in the video, people on the street ran up to take photos with Thor, and they even knew about Thor's breakup with his girlfriend. It shows that by that time, Thor had become famous like a celebrity, known to everyone."

"That's right, this time frame must be after the Battle of New York," Bruce Banner also chimed in, "We can deduce this from Jane Foster as well. According to the original timeline, or rather, another parallel timeline, Thor was exiled to Earth by Odin, met Jane Foster, and they developed feelings for each other. However, to stop Loki, Thor had to quickly return to Asgard, and he had to destroy the Bifrost bridge with his own hands. The Bifrost is the bridge that connects Asgard to Earth. Once the Bifrost is broken, Thor and Jane Foster would have lost contact."

"Although Odin can use Dark Energy to send Thor to Earth, I think Odin wouldn't do it just for such a small matter. The video continued.

Suddenly, a golden circle with sparks appeared at Loki's feet.

"What is this?" Thor, standing next to Loki, looked puzzled and couldn't help but ask, "What are you doing?"

"This isn't my doing," Loki also looked puzzled. As soon as he finished speaking, he fell down, as if the solid ground beneath his feet suddenly turned into water, swallowing Loki whole.

Then, the golden circle disappeared.

Loki vanished.

A living person disappeared just like that, as if he had never been standing there.

Thor looked around, and in the place where Loki disappeared, there was a small card resembling a business card. He picked it up, and there was an address on it: "177A Bleecker Street."

"Bleecker Street has a big shot!" Sam Wilson's eyes lit up. "He caught Loki so easily."

"This method is very different from a teleportation portal. It doesn't seem like technology; could it be magic?" Steve Rogers said, "Is there a magician on Bleecker Street?"

"Could it be..." Tony Stark's mind came up with a name, "Doctor Strange?"

"If this person really is Doctor Strange, then he seems quite formidable," Bruce Banner said. "Although we defeated Loki in the end, he wasn't an ordinary opponent. Doctor Strange captured him from a distance without even revealing his face; his strength must be incredibly powerful."

"This name has appeared multiple times in the options; we're finally going to unveil the mystery," Tony Stark said with an expectant expression.

"Are you so sure that he is Doctor Strange? Isn't that too arbitrary?" Thor couldn't help but say, "What if he's not?"

"If he's not, then he's not. We know he's a powerful individual, and that's enough," Tony Stark said.

The upcoming character in the video was quite impressive. Even before appearing, he had already captured everyone's attention, without even uttering a single line of dialogue.

Everyone stared at the video without blinking, eager to see which big shot was about to make a dazzling entrance.

In the video, Thor arrived at 177A Bleecker Street, which was a solemn and majestic building. He approached and knocked on the door.

However, something strange happened. When he knocked for the third time, he suddenly found himself inside the grand hall without any warning. One moment, he was outside the hall, and the next moment, he was inside.

Thor couldn't have foreseen this happening; he was still in the motion of knocking on the door, but his body was already inside the hall. There was no longer a door in front of him; as he knocked, he hit the air, causing him to stumble forward.

"Thor Odinson, the God of Thunder," a resonant voice sounded as if coming from the heavens. Thor turned around and saw a middle-aged man floating in mid-air, draped in a red cloak, floating towards him.

"It's him! That's right! It's him, Doctor Strange!" Tony Stark saw Doctor Strange's face in the answer space and couldn't help but exclaim loudly.

"You've seen him?" Steve Rogers couldn't help but ask.

"I haven't seen him in person, but I've seen his files," Tony Stark said, "I had J.A.R.V.I.S. search for numerous doctors named Stephen Strange, and based on Barton's investigation, selected some 'suspects' with higher probabilities for further investigation. One of them looks exactly like the guy floating in the video! Although that person looks younger than the one in the video."

"So, Doctor Strange is still just an ordinary person who doesn't know magic?" Bruce Banner said.

"Scarlet Witch's magic was due to the Mind Stone's modification. I wonder how Stephen Strange got his magic," T'Challa chimed in.

"Scarlet Witch put Thor into an illusion when she appeared, but Doctor Strange hasn't even shown up yet, and he already captured Loki from afar. His magic seems incredibly powerful," Sam Wilson couldn't help but say. Compared to these two magic powerhouses, he felt like his equipment was just a toy.

"Don't envy them. Technology is equally powerful," Tony Stark said nonchalantly.

"Stark, not everyone is like you," Sam Wilson glanced at Tony Stark. This person indeed had the credentials to say such things.

"I don't think this Doctor Strange is anything special," Tony Stark suddenly said. "He made a mistake as soon as he spoke."

"He just said Thor's name when he spoke, didn't he?" Steve Rogers said, puzzled.

"He called him 'God of Thunder,' isn't that a big mistake?" Tony Stark said, "Thor is not the 'God of Thunder'; he's the 'God of Hammers.'"

"Stark! Just shut up!" Thor was exasperated.

In the video, Doctor Strange floated slowly to Thor and said, "You can put the umbrella down."

Following his instructions, Thor put the umbrella on an iron stand nearby. But just as he was inserting the umbrella, the space shifted again, and Thor found himself in a new location once more.

"So, Earth has wizards now?" Thor looked around. He absentmindedly took a part from a decoration on a table, but when he tried to put it back after saying a few words, he heard a series of clinking sounds, and the entire decoration fell apart.

"Thor, do you have no shame?" Tony Stark once again didn't hold back, "You broke a child's toy at Barton's house, kicking it under the bed. Now you've broken something belonging to Doctor Strange. You really live up to your title of 'God of Hammers'; you specialize in destruction."

"Can I be blamed for this? I just took a part, and it's not my fault that the design of that thing was flawed," Thor tried to distance himself from the situation.

"More precisely, it's a Sorcerer Supreme," in the video, Doctor Strange couldn't stand seeing Thor struggle with the decoration, "Just leave it there."

"Okay, wizard, who are you, and what do you want with me?" Thor quickly put aside the broken decoration and asked.

"My name is Stephen Strange, and I have some questions to ask you," Doctor Strange looked at Thor, floating in the air, and said, "Take a seat."

As the words fell, Thor suddenly found himself sitting in a chair.

In one moment, he was standing, and in the next, he was in another place, transitioning from standing to sitting.

"It's indeed him! Doctor Strange!" Everyone in the answer space was excited. After such a long time, they finally knew who Doctor Strange was. His ability to capture Loki from a distance and toy with Thor face-to-face indicated that he was exceptionally powerful.

In the video, Thor turned his head again to survey the surroundings. Doctor Strange sat across from him and asked, "Tea?"

As soon as he spoke, a cup of tea appeared in Thor's hand.

"I never drink tea." Thor looked at the extra teacup in his hand and said nonchalantly.

"Okay, then what do you drink?" Doctor Strange asked.

"Anything but tea," Thor replied.

Then, the tea in his hand transformed into a large glass of beer.

"So, I've been monitoring people and things from other worlds because they could be potential threats to this world. Your adopted brother Loki is one of them," Doctor Strange said after changing the beer for Thor, "He's quite deserving of that status."

Thor gulped down the beer but, in the blink of an eye, the glass refilled itself.

"Why did you bring him here then?" Doctor Strange leaned forward.

"We're looking for my father," Thor replied.

"So, if I tell you where your father, Odin, is, will all relevant personnel immediately return to Asgard?" Doctor Strange asked again.

"Immediately," Thor said.

"Great, then I'll help you," Doctor Strange said.

"If you know where he is, why didn't you just give me a call?" Thor asked.

"I have to make it clear; your father is very determined not to be disturbed. He chose to exile himself for a period," Doctor Strange explained. "Besides, you don't have a phone."

"I don't have a phone," Thor said, "But you can send an electronic message, um, that thing called an email."

"That's right," Doctor Strange asked, "Do you have a computer?"

"I don't have one," Thor said matter-of-factly, "What's that for?"

Doctor Strange on the other side seemed too lazy to deal with this question and didn't respond.

"Never mind, my father's exile must end here," Thor said, holding the beer glass. "Just tell me where he is so I can bring him back."

"No problem, he's in Norway," Doctor Strange stood up.

With that statement, the environment immediately changed. They were no longer sitting on the couch but in a place full of books, likely a library. Doctor Strange was holding a book, while Thor, feeling dizzy, couldn't even stand steadily and spilled the beer in his hand.

"I'll check this spell and see if I need to add some Asgardian magic to adjust it," Doctor Strange flipped through the book in his hand and then closed it. "Looks like I don't need to."

With just one sentence, the scene changed again. This time, they were in a different place. Thor put down the beer glass he had spilled and said with a speechless expression, "Can't you stop doing this?"

"I could take a strand of hair from your head?" Doctor Strange asked Thor.

"I warn you, nobody touches my hair!" Thor warned emphatically, which reminded everyone of the scene in the video where an old man cut Thor's hair. Thor had screamed so pitifully then.

However, Thor's warning was meaningless. Before he could finish his sentence, Doctor Strange had already come behind him and plucked a strand of hair from his head.

Then, he rubbed and twisted that strand of hair, and suddenly, golden lines appeared in his hands. During this process, the environment around them changed again, from the library to a grand hall.

Thor was caught off guard every time Doctor Strange switched scenes like this, and this time was worse. He couldn't even stand steadily and rolled down the stairs.

"Can't we just walk properly?" Thor got up from the ground and asked in great frustration.

"I agree with Thor. Why can't we just walk directly?" Sam Wilson said, "I really don't see any reason for him to do this."

"It seems that Doctor Strange is someone who likes to put on a show," Tony Stark said.

Whether Doctor Strange loved to show off or not, one thing was certain - he had genuine power. After rubbing that strand of hair, he waved his hand in the air, and a circular spatial door appeared. Unfortunately, on the other side of the clear door was a green lawn, seemingly a grassland or something similar.

"He's waiting for you," Doctor Strange said to Thor.

"Alright," Thor said.

"Don't forget to bring your umbrella," Doctor Strange reminded him.

"Right," Thor stood in place and stretched his hand in a direction. Then, a series of clinking sounds followed, and the Mjölnir hammer flew into Thor's hand.

Everyone finally realized that it was not an umbrella at all but the Mjölnir hammer disguised to look like one.

Although Thor could control the Mjölnir, he let Doctor Strange have some fun with it, smashing it around. It turned out that this guy, who appeared to be a bit foolish, could also be quite cunning at times.

"You also need to give me back my brother," Thor said after receiving the "umbrella."

"Of course," Doctor Strange waved again, and another circular spatial door appeared.

"Ah!!" Long cries of distress echoed as Loki fell out of the space, landing heavily on the ground with a loud thud.

"I fell for thirty minutes!" Loki groaned while lying on the ground.

"He should be much more obedient now," Doctor Strange said.

"Yes, of course, thank you very much for your help," Thor completely ignored Loki's fall and went up to shake hands with Doctor Strange.
