CHAPTER 3

Damon's pov

I looked at the picture my P. A gave me. She is still alive but looks different, in a good way. It has been 12 years now and I've finally found her.

'Have you found her location yet?' I asked 'Yes' he said.

'Ok, let's go'.

Let me introduce myself. I am Damon Gonzales, a very rich and popular business man, I've got the looks, money and all, exactly why I have got girls running after me but the only one in my heart is my darling Charlotte. Ok that all about me.

I was dressed in all black, black jean, top and hoodie so as to look casual. My P. A led me to her apartment. When I knocked, a lady opened the door for me, immediately the lady recognized me and screamed she wanted to touch me but my P. A stopped her.

'My name is Vivian' she said.

'Sorry did you know any Coralline Scott?' my P. A asked.

Coralline? I thought 'Is that her new name?' I asked myself.

'Why are you looking for her?' she asked scowling instead.

'Do you know where she is now?' I asked her calmly.

'No' she said

'... and you will never find her' she sneered and close the door angrily.

I felt disappointed that I couldn't find her. when I entered my car. I asked my P. A

'You mentioned Coralline Scott, why?"

'That's her new name, that was why it took me a long time to find her.' He explained.

'Ok' I replied.

'Find more information about her and where she lives' I ordered

'Ok sir' My P.A answered.

'Drive' I instructed my driver.

' Ok sir' he replied and started the car. Charlotte I must find you and find out what really happened 12 years ago.

'Stop', I told my driver, he stopped immediately. I got out of the car and stared at her, she is the one, I know I am not mistaken.

'Is there something wrong sir?' my P. A asked but I ignored him.

I followed her closely until she started walking fast. I did the same too. She went through an alley.

I chuckled inwardly, lame. I followed another route and appeared in front of her. She didn't watched where she was going and bumped into me. When she saw my face, she screamed and wanted to run away but I gripped her immediately and said

'Charlotte, I've finally found you, I will never let you go'

She looked at me terrified. Terrified??? She used to stare at me lovingly. She tried to get out of my grip but I wouldn't let go.

I was caught off guard when she kicked me in my balls. I let go immediately and she ran off. I kept groaning on the floor when my P. A came

'Find out all more about her immediately" I said and tried to get up.

I laughed inwardly, she's still as feisty as always.

Coralline's pov

I didn't stop running until I reached the apartment. I knocked and vivian opened it 'What do you want'? She asked. I didn't answer her, but pushed her out of the way and walked in. I picked up my biggest suitcase and started packing my things.

'You finally know your place' she said. I didn't reply her but continued packing. She continued talking

'John and I are planning our weeding since I'm pregnant already' I still didn't reply. She got furious and said

'You are just jealous if me that's why you are pretending not to hear what I'm saying'.

I chuckled and replied

'So because you tied him down with a baby, you think you have won. Any way, you can have John, I guess that is the greatest thing you can ever have in your life. Exactly why you aren't moving forward'

'What do you mean", she asked furious.

'It's pretty obvious you're sticking with him because of jealousy and money, who knows if that baby is John's'.

I think that statement made her furious and she came at me with full force but I moved out of the way in time. She missed her step and fell.

She looked at me angrily but her expression become soft immediately.

'I just want to make peace with you Coralline, why did you have to push me? And you know that I am pregnant.

'Huh?' I thought, where did all the fierceness go?

'How dare you Coralline?' I heard, and turned back to see John standing at the doorpost and staring at me with angry eyes.
