Ch. 23 - The Great Pretender might be a spirit?

'That was so intense! Even the kinetic explosion that I did also damaged me, thankfully I have the Panther Habit suit or I would've died today.' Unbeknownst to the knights and sailors who were amaze and felt like Leo was cool, the said person was having a panic attack in his mind.

Thankfully, the suit itself has some air condition inside or else, Leo would've been sweating heavily inside.

Climbing the damaged hull of the ship, Leo was finally back on the bow, noticing that everyone was looking at him.

'This is considered as saving them, right?' Leo pondered to himself and decided to take a look at the quest section.

Main Quest: Save Elsa's parents, Agnarr and Iduna from their imminent death and help them reach Ahtohallan! [Completed!]

Secret Quest: Fight the Water Spirit and defeat him. [Completed!]

Seeing the words completed on both quests, Leo sighed in relief while at the same time, being surprised towards the Secret Quest.

Can Genesis predict the future?

Knowing that even if he asked, he'll get no answer, Leo decided not to dwell on it anymore and focus on the matter at hand.

'Anyways, I'll handle these things first before accepting my rewards.' Leo said, referring to King Agnarr who is walking towards him.

"I...don't know what to say. I think you just....saved us?" Agnarr said with confusion, not knowing if Leo truly saved them. After all, a few moments earlier Leo was about to jump out of the ship, isn't that the same as killing them but now, the raging sea suddenly calmed down as soon as Leo and the Water Spirit as his wife told him, fought under the sea.

Now that the Water Spirit is gone along with the raging waves, Agnarr finally saw Leo as their savior even if he tried to throw them in the waters earlier.

"Who....are you?" Finally, the king of Arendelle asked the million dollar question.

".....I'm just a random guy whose name is Leo." While Leo was speaking, he was also staring at the newly popped up screen in front of him.

[Departure time in 10 seconds.]

'Finally!' Leo cried in joy upon seeing the words on the screen, he's been in the sea for almost a week!

He wants land!

He wants to feel land again!

With this sudden change of emotion, if Leo wasn't wearing his Panther Habit, Agnarr and Iduna would surely be weirded out by him.

"Anyways, my job here is done and it is time for me to go." Just as Leo said those words, he watched as the timer reached 3 seconds.

"Job? Wait, where are you even going? We're in the middle of th-." Before Agnarr could finish his words, Leo's whole body suddenly glowed in bright gold light, almost blinding everyone, thankfully they closed and covered their eyes.

A few seconds later, everyone recovered and they saw no signs of Leo's presence among the ship.

"Is he also a spirit? An Animal Spirit?" Iduna muttered to herself in wonder, not expecting to see another spirit in the form of a human.

Could her daughter be also a spirit?

Unfortunately, these questions will remain unanswered as the two sources of the answer are either gone and out of reach.

Back in the Kung Fu Panda world, Leo found himself in his room, he looked around and saw that nothing had changed, even the moon in the sky hadn't moved one bit.

'So time has really stopped? What a wonderful thing to experience.' Leo said to himself, full of wonder and glee in his expression.

Unfortunately, by the time he also returned to this world, his Panther Habit had expired and disappeared from his body.

'Time to claim my hard-earned rewards!' Remembering the Quest Rewards, Leo grinned and excitedly rubbed his palms against each other, before mentally calling out to the Quest tab.

'Claim!' Even though Leo doesn't have to say it in his mind, he still felt like doing it just to be a bit dramatic.

Just as usual, an unknown wind smashed against Leo's face as the screen brightly lit up.

Soon as the light faded, Leo finally got a good look of his reward.

[Congratulations! You have claimed the following....

- 15% of Black Panther Template (20% -> 35%)

- 10 Gacha Tickets

- A Rare Skill: Body Control]

Ignoring the first two rewards as he already expected it, Leo pressed on the third reward.

[Body Control - Rare

- Allows the user to have complete control over their body (except internally), perfectly having control over strength and agility without undergoing training.]

'....Although I was expecting overpowered skills but oh well, who am I to complain and besides, this is pretty much perfect for me considering I just gained an entire 15% increase in Black Panther's template, which would make it much harder to control my strength, that is if I don't have this skill.'

'Speaking of control in strength, Genesis, shouldn't it be a problem to me in controlling my strength whenever I increase my Black Panther percentage? I mean, i'm technically inheriting everything from Black Panther, shouldn't his control over his strength be included?' Leo asked, this question has been plaguing his mind and now he wanted answers.

[Simple, Leo. You are training to control your strength itself, not Black Panther's strength. The only reason why it becomes harder to control your strength as the percentage goes up is because you are only controlling Black Panther's strength. Say, you gained 10% of Black Panther's percent, then you can only control that 10% not your original strength.]

[Just imagine you are drawing using both of your hands, your main hand which is the left hand is Black Panther while your right hand is your own strength, now by using both hands, only the left hand which you already have full control will be the only one you can control while you're right hand wouldn't.]

'That's.....kind of a good explanation.' Leo finished after a small pause, not expecting Genesis's answer to make sense.

'Speaking of strength, I can feel myself getting more stronger. This time, I'm confident I can lift a tree from its roots.' Leo looked at his arms and forearms, noticing the visible muscle outlines, which gave him joy.

Which man wouldn't like to have visible muscles on their bodies?

Do you want to have a small skinny body or huge fat belly? Obviously you would want to have muscles!

Muscles are superior!

It's what makes man a man!

Want to get girls?

Get muscles!

Want to fight someone and win?

Get muscles!

Want to have a great job such as modeling or acting?

Get muscles!

While Leo was busy flexing and chanting how important muscles are to man, a certain turtle was having a dilemma under his peach tree.

"The universe just told me that the time has stopped." Master Oogway squinted his eyes and contemplated.

As someone who has achieved perfect mastery over chi, Master Oogway has learned to communicate with the universe itself through the use of chi.

A skill that only he can use.

A skill that makes him unique from the other chi Masters.

Not even the pandas that taught him and his old friend Kai about chi has reached the same mastery as he is.

And now, by this skill to communicate with the universe, Master Oogway learned that someone stopped the time and he doesn't know who or how.

All he knows is that the time stopper is somewhere in china.

"Sigh....why am I even bothering. Once the Dragon Warrior takes his title, I would soon be relieved of all burdens." Just as Master Oogway wanted to investigate, he suddenly remembered the promise that he made to himself.

A promise that he would no longer influence the world just as he influenced it years ago.

He's already retired and a hermit.

He's now just waiting for the Dragon Warrior to show up and he could finally leave everything to him.

'The choosing of Dragon Warrior is just a week away. The same goes for my stay in this physical world.' Closing his eyes, Master Oogway went back to his chill meditation under the leaves of the Peach Tree of Heavenly Wisdom.

The next morning, in the training hall. Master Shifu can be seen looking at the wooden dummy whose head is sunken on the wooden ground with a twitching eye.

Meanwhile, the perpetrator was bowing his head towards his master.

"I think I am ready for the next level, Master Shifu." Leo said, bowing more deeper, hiding the grin on his face.

Recovering from his surprise, Master Shifu coughed and cleared up his throat before speaking.

"Good. As expected of my teachings, now I deem you ready for the next level."

'Shameless Red Panda!' Leo cursed in his mind, after hearing that Master Shifu credited what he did to himself.

The red panda didn't even teach him anything! He only made him suffer by the warm-ups in the morning, that's all!

"The next level will be this." Master Shifu continued, ignoring the glare on Leo's face. Pointing at the handle bars on the ceiling where Monkey was training while avoiding the arrows with burning tips.

"Well shit."
