Chapter 10: Sea Empress

Kaya took a bite of the Velocity Velocity Fruit and was about to vomit but Luffy reminded her in time. She reluctantly swallowed the bite and after a while a massive amount of informations started pouring inside her mind.

The whole world changed in front of her. She had very abstract but pleasant feeling of power.

She looked at Luffy, " Luffy let me show you my new power. " Then she walked towards the window and threw the remaining part of the fruit outside. But the fruit travelled through the air like a bullet. After demonstrating her power she looked back at Luffy with a expression that said ' praise me '.

Luffy smiled by her antics and told her some different ways of using her power. They kept experimenting with the fruit's power for the next two hours. Where they tested many different types of moves.

The next morning.

Luffy took Kaya with him to start his journey. The plan about repairing the ship was postponed. So Luffy decided to make a ship by Arc of Embodiment.

After reaching the shore, Luffy thought of a magnificent ship for his journey. And in front of Kaya's dumbfounded gaze, a beautiful ship came into existence which looked like a caravel.

The ship was very different from other pirate ships.

The hull was emrald blue in colour while the ship's railings were coated in gold, it had only a mainmast and mizzenmast with silver white sails with a blue Western Dragon painting on each.

Adding the finishing touch was the figurehead under the bow which was a beautiful green mermaid with wavy flowing hair, its hands brought together in front of her mouth with her fingers intertwined as if in prayer.

The only thing that gave the beautiful ship a more dangerous presence were the four cannons, two on each side, and a white pirate flag, clearly indicating that this was a pirate ship.

The Jolly Roger had a scary skull💀 with two dragon claws intersecting below.

" Wow, Luffy this is most elegant and beautiful ship i have ever seen. Hurry tell me it's name." Kaya's eyes were basically shinning while looking at the ship.

".....Hmm, it's name is Sea-Empress. Alright hop on, you have plenty of time for admiring it's beauty. " Luffy took Kaya by her waist and landed on the maindeck.

'Sea-Empress' had a total of seven living rooms, a large dining hall with a round dining table, a library, two kitchens, two bathrooms with toilet attached, three guest rooms and a captain room for Luffy with a big bed.

The ship also had all the facilities required for enjoying their journey.

Luffy just let Kaya explore the ship while he lifted the anchor ⚓ and set out for their next destination.

The 'Sea-Empress' started sailing towards the west smoothly. After exploring for a while Kaya returned to his side with a huge grin plastered on her face.

" What is our next destination Luffy? " asked Kaya with a lot of expectations, as she was very excited for the new adventure.

" We are heading towards the Baratie restaurant for recruiting a new member. " Luffy said while looking towards the distance.

" Alright, then how much time will it take us to reach there? "

" With the normal speed, it will take us around a day of journey. "

" Alright then what should we do for now. "

" Nothing just train your Devil Fruit power. You have to quickly increase your strength as we will face stronger enemies from now on. "

" Ok then I'm off. " Kaya left him and went to the training room for practicing. Luffy also started training with his sword as he had a gut feeling that he was missing something. So emerged in his training to complete his attack

'Enuma Elish'.

The next day around 8 AM, Luffy could finally see the Baratie restaurant.The Baratie was an ocean-going restaurant run by Zeff.

It is located in the Sambas Region of the East Blue, close to the entrance of the Grandline.

The Baratie was a fairly large ship. It takes an oval shape, with the normal masts but had a fish as it's figurehead. The Baratie had a round bottom. A small array of cannons are lined on the sides, which can be used for battle.

Luffy was very excited to meet his new member. If it was Sanji, then he wouldn't have come here. But he had heard a rumor about the best cook of the East Blue was a very beautiful woman so he wanted to find out her identity.

Although he had a guess, but he was praying to the goddess to make his guess real. As their ship approached the restaurant, he felt a very powerful aura. A marine ship was also docked besides the restaurant.

" Look Luffy, such a cute design. " said Kaya while looking at the figurehead. Luffy just sighed seeing her reaction.

' Really, you like such a ridiculous design. ' After creating his ship Luffy literally started thinking about the other ship like trash.

Luffy docked the ship outside and they entered the restaurant. When they entered inside, Luffy got a lot of attention form the customers.

When all the people inside restaurant saw Luffy, the young girls started blushing while the milfs began showing him seductive glances.

All the men who came with the girls and women staring dagger at him. He just made his way to a vacant table besides the window with Kaya, without caring about anyone.

After taking a sit, Luffy noticed a Marine who was sharing the table with a beautiful woman.

He was an average-sized Marine that wore a white pinstripe suit. His hair was pink in colour and was well-combed.

He had a scar under his right eye and bolts attached to his knuckles.

After pondering for a while he remembered this guy. He was a Marine Headquarters lieutenant named Full-body, who was a minor antagonist in the Baratie arc.

While Luffy was looking at the man, the man was looking at him like he killed his mother. The reason was simple his woman was avoiding him while looking at Luffy.

Luffy just avoided him and looked at Kaya who was also looking at him with a smile but not a smile. Luffy was forced to laughed nervously at her.
