Olympia was too pleased to inquire about Mystic's thoughts. Giving him rules that would make him suffer and that he had follow was how she intended to teach him a lesson.
Olympia declined to hop on Ares' back, so they were taken back to the castle on their legs.
The tiny girl was being held in their king's hand, and the guards were astounded to see it. They believed they could defeat her instead of the other way around since she appeared so little and innocent.
Olympia was eventually let go of by Mystic as he led her back to his room, where she eagerly went to the king bed and sat down on it.
His gentle nod was directed at her.
Mystic calmly remarked, "You're enthusiastic," and then approached her with a large step.
Olympia shouted and got out of bed. "Please keep your distance from me. If you get too close to me, I won't get married to you. We are just setting the rules "She gave a forewarning.
Mystic's lips twisted into an imperceptible smile, but all he could do was nod. Olympia sat back on the bed after blowing air into her lips.
She said, "Let's get started." "Wait! Are you in your room?" She took a look around and noticed how basic yet opulent it was. It contained a small library, a fireplace, and comfortable chairs.
"Future wife?" Almost laughing, Mystic watch her search the room with her eyes wide open.
Olympia turned around and scowled at him.
"You're not deaf! No, don't call me that!"
Olympia scowled, got to her feet, and pointed at him "Alright, Delicate mad bird."
"Rule one: I must have mooncakes on a regular basis, not just during the moon festival." Uncanny was her expression of seriousness as she announced the first rule.
Mystic was forced to look, his lips curving into an amused grin.
"Rule two: Since I am not damsel in distress, I am permitted to practice my strength." The second rule was made as if to warn him.
"I will have my own private room," is rule three. She made a fist out of her hand and grinned broadly.
Mystic nodded. He was happy to say, "Okay, delicate lunatic bird."
Olympia scowled and sat back on the bed, saying, "Don't call me that.
"You're next" She continued, innocently blinking her lashes.
"We can never divorce," is the first rule. He moved slowly in her direction as Olympia froze in disbelief. "Rule two: You must always put your faith in me." When he spoke to her and leaned in close to her, his voice was as serene as a lake. He then held her in between his hands, which were balanced on the bed by her sides. He leaned too close to Olympia and said that last rule, which caused her jaw to fall. "Rule three: I'm completely allowed to touch you."
Reddening, she snapped out of it and put her hands on his shoulders to shoo him away. She felt so foolish for agreeing to set rules and for creating all those restrictions.
"No! No! Stay away! There won't be a wedding between us "She rebuked him.
In a low voice, Mystic said, "You are acting like a child future wife. Get up and walk away from her."
He turned away after muttering, "There's no turning back now.
After rising, Olympia put her hands over her face. "Despite the trouble I've gotten myself into, I'm stuck with what I said. He seems to know where they are, so I also need to locate my mother and father since I am certain that they are still alive "In her mind.
Mystic was already facing her when she let out a heavy sigh and took her hands away. He had a sly glint in his dark eyes.
She calmly said, "Okay, I agree but only for my parents."
"Not for your safety," Mystic asked, tilting his head to the side. The room reverberated with his booming voice.
Olympia crossed her arms over her chest and pouted before asking, "What were those fire things? Why did they come to my home? How did you know those things were pursuing me, and why were they doing it?"
"Smart" Mystic laughed heartily.
"You saved me, right? I passed out," Olympia felt anxious as she recalled collapsing just as she prepared to confront those monsters.
"When you initially saw those creatures, you were so shocked that you passed out..." Mystic hesitated.
Olympia thought it odd that he had stopped suddenly. "Yes, I've never seen anything like it before."
Mystic nodded while trying to smile. "They came to your home because they want to murder you, chased you because they want to kill you, and I knew because I am the king," He said of the fire beings in a joking manner.
Olympia dropped her hands and blinked quickly in disbelief. "Fire beings? How did I treat them? I still have a lot to do, including cut off your head, eat mooncakes, and flee on the eve of our wedding. I don't want to pass away right now."
The mystic grinned heartily and shook his head sadly. Olympia was aware of what she had said, he was certain of it. Even if it had to come to that, he wasn't going to let her flee from him.
"Fire beings are one of the beings that wiped out the golden phoenix. They have been locked up and guarded by the witches but few of them escaped tonight" Mystic revealed.
When she thought of those human-like fire entities, Olympia got shivers. Hardly swallowing, she gave herself a hug. "Don't tell me there are monsters more terrifying than that after me."
Mystic responded casually, "Okay, I won't tell you," and he turned away from her.
Olympia screamed indignantly, "Hey!"
Mystic approached the door and grasped the handle. "We are getting married tomorrow night," He said as he opened the door and left the room, tenderly shutting it behind him.
Olympia couldn't believe she was being married tomorrow and exclaimed, "You are a madman!"
Although Olympia couldn't believe it, she was forced to marry the man she had only met two days before.
Her scabbard and white cloth bag were visible near the fireplace as she looked around the room. What makes a vampire want a fire in his room? She laughed at the question before moving toward the fireplace and picking up her white linen bag and scabbard.
"It's a nice thing," She was happy that they had not gone missing or been destroyed. After sitting down, she grinned. She once more thought of those fire entities, gasped, and gave herself a self-hug. She had the strange impression that she had seen a fierce beast before for some reason.
...
"You won't disclose anything to her, are you?" Curious, Asher enquired.
Mystic answered, placing the glass on his lips, "No, there won't be any joy if I tell her."
"Good," you say. Asher turned away after bowing to Mystic. As he recalled it, his hazel-brown eyes became wider. He turned around to face Mystic, who was idly swirling the crimson liquid in the glass while deep in meditation.
"Avariel is back, I forgot to tell you," Asher said.
The extremely casual Mystic said, "Oh, but she didn't come to visit me."
Asher grinned as he replied, "She heard about the golden phoenix and the fire beings, and she is quite scared." Mystic was considering the golden phoenix, not because of Avariel.
Mystic grinned and took a sip, "That's unusual, for her to worry about me." Asher said with a smile, "She's not worried about you, she's worried about the golden phoenix."
Mystic grinned and said, "How regretful."
