She yawned, sat down, and rubbed her eyes as she shook her head weakly before opening her eyes. Olympia had no idea that she would anticipate being in her room, but it turned out that she was still in the castle and also not in Mystic's room.
She was in a basic, yet luxurious, room that made Olympia think of her own.
She wanted run away last night because of her parents and the king, but things had gone wrong and she was stuck.
The door was rapped by a knock. Olympia yawned, scratched her eyes once more, and then got out of the king-sized bed, saying, "Um.. come in."
The door opened, and three maids entered admiring the golden phoenix while grinning broadly. Olympia became aware that she was still dressed in the same clothes as last night.
The servants collectively cried out "My lady" and bowed before Olympia.
Olympia chuckled apprehensively, which caused them to look up and smile at one another.
One of the maids kindly said, "It's your wedding tonight, but before that, you need to eat breakfast and take a long hot bath."
Olympia exhibited a lip pout. She was planning a nighttime nuptial? Even though Mystic had assured her that they would, she had not anticipated that. She wanted to scream and run away, but she was unable to do so at this time.
Lia, Sophia, and Beth were the maids' later names. Olympia felt perfectly at ease with them denying that they were vampires. They lacked Mystic's menacing presence.
Olympia was dressed in a casual yet regal outfit once they had done bathing her, and they then took her to the mirror. Olympia sat down and looked in the mirror. This attention bothered her, and it made her miss Dina even more. All of this wouldn't have happened if Dina had been there.
Olympia told the maids, "I'm sorry, but I don't like to be pampered like this; you don't have to bathe or clothe me."
They puzzledly turned to face their own reflections before turning to face Olympia, who was still gazing at them with a dejected expression.
Sophia said, "Yes, lovely lady, I apologize if we insulted you."
"No, I only gave you all permission to do that today." She sighed heavily and then shut her eyes. "Since it is my wedding day," She hesitated and regretted what she said.
The maids realized what was happening and were quite concerned about the golden phoenix. "We are only concerned for you, dear lady," Beth said.
Olympia gave her a fling. "No, I'm OK; those beings have no chance against me. It's senseless to worry about me" Olympia spoke with assurance and gave a slender smile.
Before turning to face the ethereal being that was gazing at her reflection, the maids once more exchanged anxious looks with each other.
Lia abruptly remarked, "We are not worried about you because of the beings that are chasing you."
"Why do you say that?" Olympia queried inquisitively.
Sophia answered, "His grandeur is scarier than those ferocious creatures out there."
Olympia was startled, but her expression quickly changed to a serious scowl. She hissed through her teeth, "If he does anything to me, I'll make his life a miserable hell."
With surprise and trepidation, the maids exchanged glances. Olympia didn't seem to understand what they meant when they said that Mystic was more terrifying than other ferocious creatures.
...
The door opened as soon as she completed her breakfast and handed Sophia the tray. Distinctive dark eyes, gazed upon the petite golden haired girl who stared up at him as if she intended to saw off his head.
The maids averted their heads, afraid to look at him. As he approached Olympia, his powerful voice resounded throughout the space and said, "Leave." They complied without question and left the room, gently closing the door behind them.
"What are you doing here?" Olympia moved passed him after standing up.
"You can't ask me anything else, like how you got into this place," Olympia stopped following him as Mystic spoke with a cunning grin on his face.
They simultaneously faced each other, her arms crossed on her chest. "Do not do it again, I know you carried me."
"You mentioned wanting your own room, so here it is, or," He walked behind her as he leaned his face against hers. "Has your decision changed, my sweet, crazy bird?"
Rolling her eyes, Olympia scoffed. "Never,"
Mystic said with a deep chuckle as he moved away from her. "I'm not meant to see you until after our wedding, but don't we all break the rules occasionally?"
"Although you are allowed to break this rule, you and I should never break any other rules we have created." As she recalled his guidelines, Olympia paused in recognition. She had to have faith in him no matter what, and he was free to touch her at any time. They could never get divorced.
Mystic's inability to resist laughing when she saw how red Olympia's face was made her angry. "I won't let you touch me ever!"
"Are you bothered by that at all? That you are not criticizing the first two regulations makes me happy "Indifferently, he said.
"You won't touch me! And if we aren't in the same room, how will you even touch me? Why would you ever establish such a rule? What a pervert you are!" After her outburst, Olympia let go of her hands, turned to leave the room, and took a step.
When her body contacted the bed, Mystic was over her, holding her by the wrists as she was pinned to the surface.
"What on earth do you think you're doing?" In amazement and rage, Olympia screamed.
Her lovely face was quite close to that of Mystic, and he had unusually dark eyes that seemed to be searching and waiting for something as they bore into her emerald ones.
Suddenly, Olympia shouted as loudly as she could. Scream loud enough to cause a heart attack in someone hundred miles distant from the castle. She stopped yelling and held her breath, making her naïve look even more innocent.
"What are you doing, you crazy bird?" Mystic questioned with humor infusing his deep voice. He didn't appear to be impacted at all by her scream.
The second time, Olympia shouted even louder. The castle seemed to be trembling. Everyone was puzzled as to what was really happening because they knew the king was with the golden phoenix.
Olympia ceased her screams and took a long breath. Mystic didn't move at all; instead, he leaned his face closer to her, making her face as red as a tomato.
"How old are you once more?" Mystic inquired casually.
Olympia gritted her teeth, "Shut up." "Don't get this close to me!" She yelled. He was so close to her that her body was responding strangely.
Olympia was agitated by Mystic's sneer as he said, "But I have permission to touch you tiny bird."
Olympia vowed, "I'll make you regret setting that rule."
Mystic snarled, finishing his sentence by licking his lips seductively, "And I will make you scream, whimper, beg, moan, and purr while I do amazing things to your body."
Olympia lowered her jaw. Though she couldn't comprehend what he was saying, she could tell he was talking about her body because of the way he licked his lips, which gave her chills that seemed to spread like a plague. She cried out, "Pervert!"
The door unexpectedly opened. This time, a sophisticated-looking dark-haired female entered the room with long hair and was startled by the event. She was really lovely, with blood red eyes that sparkled.
Olympia glared at Mystic, "Get off me, there's someone here."
"You don't appear to be embarrassed." Mystic caressed their noses as they touched. "Do you enjoy our proximity, future wife?"
"You are an insane deaf man!" Olympia yelled with frustration.
"Well, this is a fantastic scene." In the room full of laughter, a soft female voice resounded.
"Is it not Avariel?" Mystic enquired, let go of Olympia, and stood up from the bed.
Avariel was grinning broadly as Mystic stated, "Take care of her until it's time and don't let that hideous innocent face deceive you."
"I believed you would remain with her?" She continued to smile broadly as she inquired.
"I need to take care of some things." Mystic left the room after saying that.
While observing the two, Olympia got out of bed and passed Avariel. "I can see that you are a royal, so you are not required to do what he commands. Stay away from him because he is a pervert. He may seem casual to you, but to me he is a complete nutcase "Avariel was backed up by Olympia as she scoffed.
Olympia was shocked. "Yes, you're right, my brother is a dangerous lunatic." Avariel turned to face her and grinned as well.
"Brother?" Incredulous, Olympia questioned.
The golden phoenix's bewildered but endearing response made Avariel chuckle.
"Mystic is, in fact, my brother."
