Chapter 13: Castle (Final Part)

Sonic knew what he was up against, he didn't have just any opponent in front of him to defeat, he was smiling with joy as it seemed he finally had someone who could give him a real fight. Before he could hit his concentrated pure fire punch, Sonic wasn't going to give up, he wasn't going to let himself be defeated against someone with that mentality, his body began to sprout sparks from it, where upon lightly impacting with Blaze's attack, this caused an explosion to the reaction of 2 elements. The dust was still present, where the only thing that could be seen was how currents of electricity, as if it were a circuit, were enveloping Sonic the Werehog. And with a great roar, he showed that he did not intend to lose this fight.

『What's that... hey what's that!!!! When did you get that new power!!! Tell me!!!』

Blaze Unleashed Form couldn't understand what was happening, he saw Sonic the Werehog but he was a little different, a glow was shining through his body, it wasn't golden, it wasn't white, it was his characteristic blue colour but it electrified his whole body giving the appearance that he had obtained a new form. His eyes were also too big, you could see that even there shone the new power he had obtained. Blaze noticed that it seems she wasn't the only one to get a new power on her own merit, this one ended up scaring her at first, but she couldn't let up, so she turned to Sonic again.

『Don't think too highly of yourself for gaining a new power!!!! After all, I'm much stronger!!!』

While he was talking and pointing at Sonic, Sonic quickly took advantage of the carelessness and appeared instantly covering Blaze with his shadow because of his large size, this left the cat surprised and worried, as he was able to obtain a great speed from one moment to another. She was going to give him a strong blow with her huge fist, where Blaze instead of counterattacking or deflecting the attack, she would defend herself, creating an impenetrable fire shield according to her. Landing another devastating blow to the cat, he couldn't handle what was happening, while Sonic the Werehog was laughing and mocking at this with his screams, he was really enjoying this now. The blows were coming from different directions, that no matter how Blaze tried to deflect them, it was impossible, so he would try to dodge as if it was a flaming stroke, he could see how from where he was going, explosions were occurring that unbalanced the stage. Thanks to this he could see the fists better and he was already familiar with this, so at any moment, he would get in front and create a whirlwind of fire, if he could not see them clearly, then he would wrap them in flames again. The fist is deflected and now it was coming from below and....

Sonic the Werehog was getting ready when he heard how Blaze wouldn't give up the fight. Blaze wasn't going to be left behind, so she herself also just to prove to him that she does it better, she would roll up and spin with the pure flames of her new Form. He thought he was going to hit it, but Sonic at that moment also returned to normal and prepared his punch charged with electricity and speed. Blaze was startled at this, who would win the fist clash...but she didn't have to doubt, because she knew.

Blaze determinedly went to strike with her fist wrapped in fire, where Sonic the Werehog smiled because this was over. PPOOMMM!!!!!!!There was a loud bang and as Sonic descended with his fist charged but.... there was no one to hit or punch. When he looked to the side, he noticed how Blaze dodged it at the last moment, no...rather someone interrupted the final blow.

『Again playing tough when you clearly can't...』

『Were you fighting with this big guy all this time? Let me give you a hand, I'll make him understand nicely and affectionately how one ends the fight *smiles*』

『Looks like we're just in time, Blaze you look shaken and knackered, take a rest for a while, we'll take care of this』.

Zeta gave the order to act according to the previous plan they devised together, they have to somehow be able to talk some sense into their friend and they know perfectly well how to do it, after hearing the method of how to achieve it, she had too much faith and hope that it will be a success. Quickly Zeta would shrink the net to catch Sonic and immobilize him. Sonic couldn't move, he was trying to free himself but he just couldn't.

Zeta was screaming on the spot, but nothing was happening, to this she was worried, so Amy seeing that nothing was happening, went back against Sonic to give him a combo of close attacks, who the monster could only resist this. And when Zeta turned to look at Blaze, she realised he wasn't there.

Minutes ago, when Blaze was resting for her friends to take care of this, she quickly became worried about M, how he was doing or if he was still on the final floor. She was worried, so with what little strength she had, she would go and climb up the castle but....

『Blaze...even with your most powerful Form, it seems you can't defeat him, thanks fellow Sonic for not letting yourself be defeated...』

The Demon was struggling to resist the grip, but Blaze didn't seem to let him, even commenting that he'd better end his life right now.

When Carmis was supposed to appear to defeat Sonic the Werehog, he simply did not appear and there was no sign of it. Sonic, seeing himself cornered and besieged, being unable to move anything and just being his opponent's punching bag, would start to shoot electricity out of his body, which when Zeta noticed it, he would realise that at any moment the electric net that tied him up would be destroyed. Rouge would yell at him to hold him back as well, where Amy would step aside, and you could see Rouge create a whirlwind from his hands and throw it at Sonic. 

Zeta again shouted that it's time for the demon to appear as they restrain him but...Carmis was still holding on to Blaze's stranglehold.

『(What do I do now...Carmis doesn't show up...even if he doesn't want to, if we can't bring our friend back and he's a danger to the rest, we'll have no choice but to ....)』
