CHAPTER 7

AFTER a very tiring day, we are here in our classroom, including me, Haidee, and Ryan. Why? Because I just found out that Ryan is our classmate.

"So let's go!" Haidee said enthusiastically to us when she finished arranging things

We got to the school gate and saw Jonathan waiting for us.

"Oh? Why only you? Where is Santi?" Haidee asked Jonathan

"He said he still has a way to go so let's go first" Jonathan said so we just nodded

"By the way, will you come with us, Aizelle?" Haidee turned to me

"Uhm no, I'll be picked up" I informed them

"Then do you want us to wait for you to come after you before we go home?" Jonathan asked

"Huh? I'm not okay anymore even if you come first, our driver will be here any minute by now" I refused

"Are you sure?" Jonathan asked ensuring what I just said

"Yes" I said and gave them an assuring smile

"All right, be careful" Haidee said goodbye and kissed me on my cheeks

"You too"

That's all and the three of them left so I was left alone here at the gate. Some students are still here but they are in the waiting area.

If you notice, I usually only talk to Haidee and Jonathan. That is because Ryan is often holding a book and reading, while Santi is quiet.

A few moments later I received a text from mom.

From: Mommy

Baby Zelle, our driver can't pick you up first because Delia is in the hospital

Is Delia hospitalized? She is the mother of our driver Anton.

But what about me? I will probably commute but how?

Maybe taxis are passing by here? I'll just ask for sure.

I saw a guard at the school gate near the guardhouse so I go there to ask.

"Uhm excuse me!" I called the attention of the guard

"Ma'am, do you need anything?" the guard asked me politely

"I'll just ask if any taxis are passing by here?" I ask here

"There is no any, the taxis are passing on the highway two blocks away from here" explained to the older guard so I thanked him before leaving

I am now walking to the other corner pointed by the older guard when I meet three men.

"Hi miss beautiful" greeted me the other day

"Hello" I greeted back

They do nothing wrong so I see no reason not to answer their simple greeting to me.

"Are you alone? Do you want us to accompany you" said the other

"It's not going to be close to where I'm going, go ahead, I'm in a hurry"

I was about to pass them when suddenly a man grabbed my arm.

"Them we are just your companion in heaven" he said and they laughed.

"I-I have something to do" I said while trying to remove its handle from me

But I was surprised when one by one they touched me.

"Don't be shy, you will also like what we do" One said and they laughed again

I still try to remove their hold on me but I can't.

I can already feel the fear gradually enveloping me. I do not know what to do as long as I am afraid of what might happen. I will soon be overcome with nervousness and fear because I know I have nothing against them.

But I was surprised when they suddenly released me and I hear them groaned like they're in pain. And when I looked at that person I saw him.
