CHAPTER 10

IT'S OUR free time, as I've said earlier we don't have classes anymore so we're here in what looks like a school garden.

"Aizelle and I are just going to the restroom" I looked at Haidee as she spoke

"Ha, why?" I asked in astonishment while frowning slightly

"Come with me" she said and pulled me away

"Game on! Yieee spill it come on!" excited Haidee said as we entered inside the girls' restroom

"Which?" I wondered

"Duh! Don't you like Santi? So tell me about it" she explained while looking at herself in the mirror

"H-ha? Hey n-no!" I refuse

Where did she get such a theory? I just gave Santi cupcakes, didn't I? That's not a big deal.

"There's no other reason for you to give him something because you'll only know each other unless you've known each other for a long time and you're dating secretly

Haidee's words almost broke my jaw. Where does she get that kind of thing? She was able to think of a whole story because of the cupcakes.

"It's not like that" I explained briefly

"Then why did you give him cupcakes?"

Am I going to tell her? Shall I say almost something bad happened to me and Santi helped me?

She's my friend so I think she has the right to know that, right?

"OH EM GEE! Are you really fine? Do you have any wounds? Gosh, it's good that Santi came because otherwise, I can't imagine what will happen to you" Haidee sighed after I told her what happened

It's a good thing we're the only two here in the restroom so it's okay for me to tell her the whole story.

"I'm fine" I explained to her

"But seriously, we shouldn't have left you yesterday so we prevented that from happening to you" she said and sighed

I smiled, she's a good friend even though we just met a few days ago.

"What are you, it's okay, Santi came and it's over, let's just forget about it" I explained with a smile

"Fine, but next time we'll wait for you to be picked up before we leave, okay?" seems to be preaching to the child that Haidee told me

I just nodded and smiled at her in response.

WE GO HOME and we walk towards the gate, including Santi.

"Where's the one who'll pick you up?" Haidee asked when we reached the school gate

But wait, will someone come to pick me up? As far as I know, our driver is still in the hospital and daddy is still in the office now.

Mommy also didn't mention that she would pick me up.

"Just wait" I said and then moved away from them a bit

I picked up my cellphone to call Mommy.

Calling Mommy...

[Hello Zelle!] Mommy greeted me when she answered the call

"Hi, mommy! I'll just ask if anyone will pick me up?"

[Are you with anyone now?] Mommy asked on the other line

"There are, Jonathan, Ryan, Santi and Haidee" I explained

[That's nice, can you just ask them to send you home?] Excited mommy said on the other line

"O-okay" I said

My mom is being weird since earlier in the morning.

"Really? Yiee! All right, be careful, bye"

The call ended so I approached Haidee again.

"Uhm guys, can you just take me? Because our driver is still in the hospital and then daddy—" I hadn't finished speaking when Haidee cut it off

"Yes! Yiee so we can see your house? Let's go!" Haidee said excitedly and led me to the school parking area
