CHAPTER 11

TODAY is Friday.

It's the last day of school this week so I woke up a bit early. I made my bed first before I went to the CR which was in my room to take a shower.

I had a hard time sleeping last night because of what happened. It may look like it's nothing but to tell you the truth, it feels so traumatic.

That thing never happened to me before that's why it's so hard to forget about it.

I feel like everyone I see will do something bad to me. But I don't want to fill my brain with negativity so I'm trying my very best to forget about it.

"Baby Zelle" I looked at the door when I heard mommy's voice

Mommy doesn’t knock me because I’m the one who spontaneously goes down after I get dressed.

"Why?" I asked when I opened the door

"I just don't have to just check if you're awake, I'll go down" he said and closed the door

Okay? Weird

After fixing myself I went down to eat breakfast.

"Good morning!" I greet mommy and daddy

They greeted me back and then we eat our breakfast happily.

Maybe you're wondering, why does it seem like nothing happened to me yesterday? Well, it's not actually NOTHING, we just don't like having negative thoughts in our family. It's like, okay that thing happened we should be more careful next time. No more no less.

Dad will send me to the school today because our maid, Aunt Delia is still in the hospital and our driver, Anton can't drive me because he's taking care of Aunt Delia.

I was about to get in the passenger seat of daddy’s car when I heard mommy’s voice from the door of the house.

"Just wait, Aizelle!" said mommy as she approached me

He's holding ... a box? What is that for?

"Please give it to Santi, yiee! Tell me from her future mother-in-law" said mommy and handed me the box she was holding

Mommy said the last thing weakly so I didn't hear it.

"What?" I wondered

"Nothing, oh you guys better go or you'll be late for school, give that to Santi, okay?!" goodbye mommy and also happily entered the house

I just laughed and got into the car.

Mommy and daddy know Santi because I told them what happened last night and that included Santi helping and taking me home. That is the time they also knew my friends Haidee, Ryan, and Jonathan.

I'm WITH Haidee and Ryan, we're going to the cafeteria. It's lunchtime now and we don't have class after. We didn't have classes the whole day, there were just things explained to us earlier for the upcoming school event.

"What are you holding?" Haidee asked me when she saw that I was carrying the box that mommy gave to Santi

"I'll just give it to someone" I explained briefly

I and Haidee are talking while Ryan on the other hand is reading a book.

I often see him reading and I guess that is the reason why he's silent. Not as silent as Santi but he doesn't often talk, so yeah.

"Yow!" Jonathan greeted us when we arrived at our table in the cafeteria

"I'm hungry, let's order Nata" Haidee said to Jonathan

At the same time as Jonathan stood up, so did Ryan, so the three of us looked at him.

Santi was wearing earphones while closing her eyes so she probably couldn't hear us.

"I'll go with you" was Ryan's short reply when he noticed that we were waiting for him to answer

They went to the counter to order while I sat thinking about how to approach Santi so I can give the one my mom told me to give to him.

I just looked at Santi as he closed his eyes. His wound is still visible and looks like it has been healed.

It's rude if I just suddenly remove the earphone he's wearing. I can't call him because he's wearing earphones.

"What do you want?" I was surprised when Santi spoke while closing his eyes

I still couldn’t recover from the shock when it stared and looked straight at me.

"Uh, m-my mom wants to give this to you" I stammered as I reached for the box and averted my eyes.

It's because the way he looks is so uncomfortable and I can't stand it.

"What's this?" Santi asked while looking at the box

I also don't know because it's still sealed. I'm not sure if it's cookies or cupcakes because mommy loves to bake.

"I had no idea" I shrugged

He did not answer but he opened the box and started eating it. It's a cupcake. The cupcakes are placed in a two-layer box

Silence prevailed over us until Haidee, Jonathan and Ryan arrived.

"Huwaaaaaw! Cupcakes! Let me have some!" Haidee said excitedly when she saw Santi eating a cupcake

Jonathan and Ryan did the same.

"Hmm it's delicious" Haidee commented happily while eating a cupcake

"Who's this from — WAIT!" Haidee stopped asking and with big eyes looked at me

"W-why?" I wondered

"I-it's you, isn't it? You said you're just going to give it to someone? DON'T TELL ME YOU LIKE SANTI ?!" she shouted while still pointing at Santi so some people near our table looked at us

"H-ha? N-no" I quickly refused

"Do you like him, Aizelle?" Jonathan asked, looks like he just recovers from the shock

"I-it's not like that" I refused

I can already feel the redness of my cheeks due to embarrassment. Some people are already looking at us that makes me feel more uncomfortable

Ryan, on the other hand, just kept reading the book while eating a cupcake.

Haidee was about to speak but our food arrived.

"We'll talk later" Haidee said threateningly and then started eating
