Ariella cried out in pain. Her once long hair was now cut in a shoulder-length bob. The man in front of her squinted his eyes and let out a deep chuckle. His lips twisted into a disturbing smile. "Why?" The man repeated. " It's because I love you Ari..."
It was a large room with a high ceiling and two regular-sized white doors, across the entrance door, was a balcony whose sliding glass doors were open allowing fresh to enter freely. The room had a soft grey color with paintings of flowers arranged in no particular order while the floors of the room had marble-like tiles with half of it covered by fluffy looking Carpets
On a raised platform towards the edge of the large and elegant bedroom was a white king-sized bed. Laying on the bed was a seemingly-sleeping woman. The woman had pale skin without any blemishes and a petite body, her light blue hair was wary at the tips and her blue eyes were closed making her seem even more gentle. All she wore was a simple blue nightgown with laces on the arms and a ring on her right hand.
Besides the woman was a young lady in an ordinary black and white maid outfit. The lady's hair was short and clipped to the front, and the ginger color of her hair made her green eyes stand out even more. In the arms, the arm of the lady was a baby who had a striking resemblance to the woman lying on the bed. The baby was wrapped in a white cloth and was sleeping peacefully in the lady's arms.
The scene was beautiful and peaceful if one ignored some minor details. Such as the tears streaming down the lady's face, the blood splattered on the floor, and the dead bodies of people, both men and women, lying on the ground. Not to mention that the woman lying on the bed was in fact, dead.
The Lady looked around her surroundings like she had done countless times before. Her breath hitched as she gagged quietly, her grip on the baby tightening as she burst out another round of tears.
"It's not fair." She spoke softly, her voice barely in a whisper. Everything was over before she got there, they were dead before she arrived and she couldn't do anything to help them.
The lady calmed down once more after a while before turning all her attention to the baby in her arms.
"You're all I have left, I promise I'll protect you." She kisses the baby on her forehead after saying that promise. Her pink lips stretched into a sad smile as she hugged the baby in her embrace.

"Your highness." A man with blonde hair and light brown eyes called out as his tall and robust body stood in front of another man, successfully blocking his path. The other man simply side-stepped to avoid him.
" Theodore, would you stop trying to avoid this?!" The man screamed out in annoyance. A few seconds of suffocating silence before the other man, Theodore, spoke up.
"Who by my gave you the right to not only yell at me but to also call me by my name? I am your king Louis, remember that."
With those few sentences, Louis finally kept quiet. The two men were walking in silence for a while before they finally reached their destination. Louis was the one to open the large oakwood for Theodore and after they were both inside the room, he shut the door.
The room had three large windows opposite the door. In front of the windows was a wooden u-shaped office desk and a chair made up of wood.
The rest of the room looked like a drawing room, a place used for receiving guests. The sides of the room were filled with books of different kinds and the remaining space on the wall was filled with framed pictures of important-looking men and women.
The two of them sat in silence until Louis stood up aggressively with an expression of annoyance written all over his face.
"Pardon me for what I'm about to say but I can't stand this anymore!" Louis told Theodore, making the latter finally look up from the stack of papers he was searching in.
"I've known you for a long time Theodore and I know that you aren't a good person but you aren't a bad person either, you're a logical person and what you did Theo, wasn't logical."
Theodore tried to cut him off but was quickly ignored when Louis started speaking again.
"You went too far Theo, you can't run away from this anymore. You can't avoid this!"
Louis was practically raging by the time he was done. Theodore's face was as stoic as ever but one could tell that he was angry. His cold grey eyes were red in anger and his knuckles were turning white because of how tight he was gripping the table.
"I'm not trying to avoid this, I just don't want what happened to be discussed!" Theodore shot back.
"That isn't possible and you know that, you crossed the line, and if anyone should find out..." Louis quieted down at the end, the atmosphere of the room tense and gloomy.
"They won't find out anything because you won't tell them!"
"And how do you know that I won't?" Louis replied quickly as he took a step forward.
"You won't tell them because I order you not to, I am your king Louis. You are to respect and follow me, that is what you were made for."
Both of them were stuck in a stare-off until Louis scoffed and turned around to leave. Before he left he turned around and looked at Theodore.
" You've changed Theo..." And with that, he left.
"Argh!" Theodore screamed out in frustration as he pushed everything off his desk, successfully breaking and scattering almost all of it.
By the time he finished, he leaned back on his chair feeling completely exhausted.
He hated this.
