Little sign of freedom

"Deal,” Lincoln agreed and follow Alex inside but Clara and the rest refuse him and his man to go in.

“Is okay, Clara, I got this” Alex said and turned to Jack, he whispers something to him and he went in and brought Sandra and the baby out to the living room.

Clara and the rest whispered and murmured but Alex was still, he only instructs Jack to fire if anything goes wrong.

Lincoln smiled when he saw the baby, he walk closer and takes a look.

“Hmmm, what a beautiful baby, congratulate Alex, I will send you a gift for the baby” with that he turned to leave.

Alex gave out a big sign of relief when Lincoln and his men left but Clara would not have any of that.

"What in hell's name did you do? What did you tell him that made him calm down” she yell at Alex almost fighting him.

"Relax Clara, he only needs a boy child, so I told him is not a boy”

“Liar” Clara yells.  "Lincoln can not just leave because you told him that."

“Yes, but he said he just wants to confirm if is true”

“Maybe he’s telling the truth,” Pat said. If not why will he come in and look at the baby?." Clara thought she was right.

"So, are we free to live our lives now huh?” Clara asks Alex.

“Yes, at least for now,” he said But was still not happy, he took Sandra into his room.

“Fine, we can all go home now” Jack announced.

While Brian and Pat are preparing to go home, Jack went to see Alex. He took him aside.

"Guy, I don’t believe what you just said out there, but anyway, you know better” he turned to leave but Alex called him back.

“I may a deal with the devil”

"What!, I knew it, I knew something is off, what kind of deal did you make with him?” Jack grabs Alex's shirt.

"To give him my next child if it turns out to be a male child."

“Are you insane!” Jack couldn’t help but shout.

“I was confused man, I didn’t want to start a fight here, Sandra is still in pain, I have to do something, we can’t be running with her, she’s still bleeding,"

Jack runs his fingers through his hair. “Your right, but that was silly”.

“At least it will buy us time to think of something,” Alex said considering the position of the head of the clan, once he becomes the head, he will put Lincoln to die or probably in prison if he can not kill him and they will live happily ever after.

“You have to think of something very fast, this man is too dangerous, you can’t even run away from him,” Jack said

“I know, but don’t worry, I will beat him to his own game”

"Fine, I have to leave, thanks for everything” he made his way to go but thought to take permission from Alex so Clara comes with him.

“Is fine with me, you have paid your dues man” Alex said and they both laughed.

“Yes!” Jack shouted and hurry to tell Clara about it.
