Fever
Butler Gao gulped a mouthful of saliva before he continued. He was worried about how would they react especially Feng Yun.
".....the youngest miss will move to stay at the Greenfield building... alone... and no one is allowed to visit....."
Everyone: "..."
'What?!
Are they trying to throw me away?'
Yu Yan opened her mouth to speak but Feng Yun spoke first as he looked at his father intently.
"She has never attended school, how can you let her live alone?"
His face is black as a pot and his voice is cold and sound murderous. Butler Gao calmly answered.. "It is for the youngest miss to learn and grow up.."
"Have you forgotten that she was in a comatose state for 10 years and just woke up 2 years ago?!"
With his irritated voice, none of the other siblings spoke, only Feng Yun tried to continue... "Do you really think that I will let this happen?!"
He was looking at their father with sharp eyes, like a beast aiming for its prey.
"Yun, order and respect" Xiao Ming Rou looked at Feng Yun with an expressionless face.
Feng Yun was about to speak but Yu Yan held his hand and smiled in an attempt to calm Feng Yun.. "It's alright, I will try hard to learn..."
Feng Yun looked at her with understated words on his eyes. Yu Yan can also feel everyone's gaze but she ignored it.
Looking back to their father, Feng Yun tried to negotiate an agreement..
"Let MouJin stay with her for a couple of weeks while she's trying to....."
However he was cut off by Xiao Ming Rou not giving him an opportunity to resist.
"No!" "Dismissed" then he stood up to leave, rendering everyone speechless.
All of them looked at Yu Yan. She just bowed her head, took a deep breath then she lifted her head and smiled.
Yu Yan stood up, pulled her hand from Feng Yun's grasp and left without a word. Leaving everyone who are still at a loss for words.
Before Yu Yan can enter her room, someone from behind her wrapped his strong arms around her, giving her a warm embrace.
Yu Yan stayed in the same position and bowed down. She knew that it was Feng Yun who hugged her. Her eyes started to sting and tears began to flow.
Feng Yun turned Yu Yan to face him. Burying her crying face on his chest but he didn't say anything.
It took a while before Yu Yan finally stopped crying. She was not sure how long they remained standing on the same spot.
"Sleep beside me tonight..."
However, Yu Yan shook her head to decline Feng Yun's request but she looked up with a smile.
When Feng Yu was about to touch her face Yu Yan stopped his hands and shook her head.
Yu Yan removed his arms around her then entered her room. She went straight to the bathroom to wash and laid on bed crying until she fell asleep.
The next morning when Yu Yan woke up, her head was feeling pained and heavy.
When she moved, Yu Yan realized that she was leaning on someone's chest. When she looked up, she saw Feng Yun's beautiful face.
'When did he come?'
Without opening his eyes, Feng Yun touched YuYans forehead. "Sick?"
Ignoring the uncomfortable feeling, Yu Yan shook her head and said nothing.
Feng Yun slowly opened his eyes and gave her a kiss on the top of her head while stroking her hair.. "Sleep more"
Yu Yan just gave a nod as a response, she still felt like sleeping anyway.
Watching her eyes shut, Feng Yun kissed Yu Yan on her head again and hugged her tight.
It didn't take long before Yu Yan fell asleep again while leaning on his arms and burying her face on Feng Yun's chest.
Feeling the heat coming from her body, it is hot like a newly cooked potato. So Feng Yun embraced her tightly making her fall deeper in sleep.
