Lily promised to not tell anyone about Ginny's incident. Even if she doesn't mention it to anyone, Ginny forgot about one person who would.

It was a guy's night, and Alan arrived the latest. His mood was incredibly flying sparks on cloud nine that he couldn't hold in his smile. The smile on his face was evident enough to see twenty of his teeth. It made everyone else shiver at the thought of what's blasting in his mind.

Under everyone's elbowing and provoking eyesight, Lin Que cleared his throat. "Alan, did you win the lottery?"

"Even better than winning lottery." Alan chuckled and chugged down his lemon water.

"OH! He must have won the jackpot!!!!" One of the college classmates, Joseph, jumped up from his seat and almost planted a smooch on Alan's cheeks.

Shoving one palm to Joseph's face, Alan dodged his thick lips in time before it marked his cheeks. "Who the heck cares about the jackpot? I just had the best half day with my crush!"

Joseph wiped his lips and slouched on the couch. "Luckily, I haven't wasted my virgin lips on your cheeks yet. What a waste it would be if you became my first guy kiss~ and here I thought something fell from heaven. Haven't you dated many girls before? How is she different?"

"Wait until I move her with my sincerity. I'll feed you the most dog food that you'll be tired of seeing your girlfriend's dog." Alan smirked and filled his empty glass with water.

"I'll be waiting." Joseph laughed jokingly since they were used to kidding around with each other.

Lin Que observed Alan's behavior and texted from across the table.

Lin Que: "Ginny?"

Alan: "Smart."

Lin Que: "En. Better not dump, hurt or bully her."

Alan: "Bro, aren't you supposed to stand on my side if anything happens?"

Lin Que: "I stand in the middle."

Alan: "Lies! You are obviously already on your girlfriend's side."

Lin Que: "If you know, then why ask. 😏😏😏

Alan: "😭🤧🤧 I should have known that once the door to love is unlocked, your heart will leave no space for me."

Lin Que: "Easy. Get Ginny, and you'll fill the empty gap up. While I've been single, you've given me enough dog food."

Alan: "Tch! I'll stuff you a whole mansion amount of it when I successfully get Ginny to be my girl! She's so cute."

Lin Que: "I forgot to mention our family's Lily likes cats."

Alan: "So?"

Lin Que: "Meaning we are from the cat family. Your dog food is useless to us. 😜😆 But our family's food is specialized for you~"

Alan: ".... Suddenly have the motive to play flying knives with you. Maybe even daggers."

Lin Que: " Lily and Ginny are best friends. I have direct resource to boost your points, but if you don't want it..."

Alan: "Big mercy lord brother of mine! Please spare my previous typos. I wanted to compliment your archery skills!"

Lin Que: "...You sure are good at changing words.."

The following day, Lily woke up earlier than usual to prepare for her afternoon photoshoot. Her manager reminded her the previous night about the photoshoot details. When she woke up, Ginny was still sleeping.

Within half an hour, Lily was ready to leave her apartment. After some consideration, she decided to leave a slip on Ginny's cellphone to let her know she has gone to work. Since the photoshoot is for a jewelry brand, Lily only needed to get to the studio early enough for the stylists to do their jobs.

Once she seated in the backseat, Lily's manager, Sofia, instructed the driver to start the car. Sofia has been trying to persuade Lily to become a full-time model over the past years. Unfortunately, Lily has no plans of becoming a full-timer for any company.

Many directors tried poaching her because of her professionalism. Though she was considered, an amateur, her body movements and facial expressions shockingly met everyone's expectations. Not only was she quick in changing poses; she was also tolerant towards staff.

In the entertainment industry, rarely anyone could ignore insults and hold back on pulling tricks behind the scenes. Lily was one of them who didn't mind others' perspective of her. Even actresses and models that are titled as experts or seniors may not match up to her level. Perhaps, Lily never thought of staying in this field; she cared less about what others say and think about her.

She chose her own jobs and attended auditions. Though she was a part-timer, she had received many invitations to play interesting roles in movies and drama series. After reviewing the plots and summaries, she would see if it fit with her class schedule.

If she wanted to, she could have been the female lead for many drama series. So far, not many scripts have been unique enough to catch her interest. As a public figure, she had to constantly keep up with her jobs. For instance, she may be required to act with another guy as a couple. In order to perform her best during the photoshoots and commercials, she would take at least a week to associate with her partner.

Of course, many men would believe she wanted to gain fame and popularity. For a part-time model/actress like her, some would overthink her purposes. Though Lily could have paved a much smoother road by using her family status, she didn't. Since this was a hobby that she attempted to challenge, it would lose its fun without the bumpy road.

After meeting different people in the entertainment world, her hard work and efforts were the best comebacks for gossipers. Each job she agrees to attend, she gives it her all. Although it was quite tiring in learning about someone new for work objectives, she never gave up. Those who compared her to girls who sell their bodies for more opportunities also changed their mindset after seeing her hard work.

Lily always clarifies her main reasons for approaching anyone in the industry. Therefore, after the jobs were completed, she would block, delete or keep the male partners in her contact list depending on how she felt towards them. She kept her work from private life and never crossed her bottom line.

She also rejected and ignored many pursuers as they confessed their feelings after being impressed by her professionalism. Her relationship with staffs was decent as she treated everyone politely.

Of course, the number she used when exchanging contacts was not the same as her private number.
