Chapter Four

Getting to the building, the white BM and the black Cadillac drove into the executive parking lot and the drivers of each car turned off the ignition. A young Lady of about Nineteen stepped out of the White BM with her hand bag and headed to the door of the office building a skyscraper. The occupants of the black Cadillac stepped out and the driver reversed the car and drove out of the parking lot.

The two men in black followed the girl closely as she walked into the building. All the people they encountered on their way bowed towards her in greeting. Getting to the private elevator that she normally use, a young man and woman where waiting for her both in their early thirties dressed in a well pressed black suit trouser.

'' Welcome Miss Chen'', they both chorused when they caught the sight of the young lady.

Yue Yue nodded as a sign of acknowledgement. The young lady pressed the button on the elevator and when it opened, the group of five got into the elevator. Once the door closed, the young lady once again entered their floor number and the elevator started moving.

'' What are my schedules this morning'', Yue Yue asked the two people that were waiting for her earlier. Both were the people she worked with. Bai Yinchuan a thirty two year old guy, average in height with an attractive face and good physique was her personal assistant, Jiang ZhenZhen the thirty year old pretty young lady was her secretary. Both were the people she chose her self when she started working in the company. She knew of the happening in the company and how corrupt most of the workers were and how it would be hard for her to cope with people she couldn't trust so when she was announced as the new director, she had made it known to the people outside the company that she needed a secretary and personal assistant. She knew how important trust was in her work. It was one of the things her father had drilled in her. He had told her.

'' Mu Yue, the company is not like your every day life, their are different people there that you need to battle and one thing you should learn of is to never trust the people. Build your own team if you want to stand firm. Remember many want you down at all cost. But you must clear the road for your brother to have a smooth sail. This is what you owe the Chen family.''

Mu Yue had personally conducted an interview and had finally chosen Bai Yinchuan and Jiang ZhenZhen to work as her personal assistant and secretary respectively. Even when she chose them, she still didn't trust them fully but she was able to count on them and with time they built a mutual undetstanding and trust was beginning to exist. The three have created a harmonious work environment. Mu Yue had actually chosen the two because of their background. But unknown to her what she did for them was what they would forever remain grateful for, so the two were grateful to her and had vowed to serve her with all they have.

Jiang ZhenZhen was from a very poor background and not only that. Her father was abusive to her and her siblings. Her mother died after giving birth to her younger sister. She was the first child and she had two younger ones. Her father was the reason her younger sister had to spend her life depending on drugs. She needed money for her sisters drugs and had done every job she could get her hands on. She also had to quit college to cater for the family. She had run away with her two younger ones when her father had started stealing every penny she gets to drink not even bothered about her sisters health or their feeding. She had established a new life with her brother and sister. When she saw the flyer about the interview, she had no hope but decided to apply and luck was on her side.

Bai Yinchuan on his own came from a middle class family. But the problem was his mother never had feelings for his father. She was forced by her family to marry him. She was engaged to him, but never loved him. She had gotten pregnant for her boyfriend in high school who had eloped telling her he wasn't ready to be a father. Her parents had threatened to disown her and Bai Yin had come to her aid by agreeing to take full responsibility of her and the kid. But this development didn't go down well with her. Even till death she hated her husband. After birth, the baby had died and when she got pregnant again she had Bai Yinchuan. Bai Yin was an engineer and provided everything for his family, unlike the Jiang family that had to work hard for ends meet. Bai Yinchuan's father had died when he was eighteen due to cancer and his mother had run away with every thing his father had incurring Dept's in the process. Yinchuan was about to enter college during that time. He started doing whatever job that came his way to support himself. He wanted so much to study business that he never gave up. Then there still was the people his parents were owing that he needed to settle, it haven't been easy for him till just like ZhenZhen, Mu Yue chose him to work for her. Not only that, she had paid back the Dept owed by his parents and have promised to take care of Jiang MeiMei's hospital bills as long as she can. She didn't stop there, their salary was more that what most people working in their areas could dream of. For that the two were really grateful and had vowed to work for her with every thing they've got. They knew of her stand in the Chen company but they were devoted to her and only her.

'' Apart from the board meeting, you have to meet the elder of the Liang family'', Yinchuan replied after going through Yue Yue schedule in the notepad.

'' There are a lot of documents to be signed in the office, from the finance manager, the PR department and the manager for work revenue. The files just got in this morning'', ZhenZhen added.

'' The file from the PR department Yinchuan you should handle it. ZhenZhen after the board meeting send a message to the manager in charge of the new interns, I want a word with him'', Yue Yue said as the elevator came to a stop.

'' Yes miss'', ZhenZhen replied as they walked out of the elevator heading to the office.
