Chapter 11. Madelyn? Confession?

--2 Days later--

It was currently 5:30 In the city of Rabak and outside of a well known Inn were three neatly dressed youths waiting for something. Indra was wearing a long dark blue robe with the Uchiha's crest imprinted on its back with some black ninja pants and shirt underneath, he was the cause of many people's jealousy(mainly male) because this outfit; although weird, it looked just right on him. His spiky black hair, and handsome face caused many women to have hearts in their eyes.

Irina caught the eyes of several young passerby's as well, she wore a red sleeveless skin tight dress that reached her ankles, coupled with her beautiful red hair that is flowing down her back and mesmerizing blue eyes which further accentuate to her beauty, made her extremely pleasing to the eyes.

Kein was wearing white robes with golden characters running down the side. Underneath he wore black jean-like plants with a long-sleeve white shirt Indra had gifted for him. With his dashing black hair slicked down to his shoulders and grey-eyes he was a real looker too.

Out of the corner of his eyes Indra Identified a golden carriage being pulled by two charming golden stallions making its way towards their location.

Indra spoke to the red-haired girl and grey-eyed man behind him in a voice not too loud nor too quiet.

"Looks like our ride is here."

The carriage arrived in front of them and when the door opened they saw a handsome middle aged man in golden nobles attire, thats right he was Stefen Vienna.

"Indra, Kein, and Irina please make yourselves comfortable." Insisted Stefen Vienna

Indra and the crew made their way into the carriage, when they entered the carriage Indra's eyes opened wide while Irina failed to hide her shock, and Kein...well he didn't have any reaction.

The inside was like a miniature living room with bright golden seats and a golden table, there is no doubt that these things must have also cost a lot.

Indra got over his shock then chuckled at Irina's over the top reaction.

He tapped her shoulder to get her attention and then teased her a little bit "Are you planning to stand like that the whole time on this trip? Come on lets take a seat."

Irina just nodded her head blankly and followed behind taking a seat in between Kein and Indra.

"How is it Indra? Is my carriage to your liking?" Stefen asked while smiling.

"Yes, it's a very nice carriage"

"Haha if you want in the future you can ride more often in this carriage."

"We'll have to see about that Mr.Vienna"

Indra had a gentle smile on his handsome face but inwardly he sneered 'Trying to lure me with money? what a crafty fox.'

"We will reach my villa in about 30 minutes so in this time i thought i should probably tell you somethings about myself and my family. So you already know about my daughter correct?"

Indra smiled and nodded

At this point Stefen had already completely ignored Kein and Irina as this didn't concern any of them so he focused all of his attention on the big fish.

He continued "Aside from Irina i also have two sons and another daughter that is older than Serafine. The boy's take care of multiple business's throughout the city while madelyn my eldest daughter takes care of herself at home as she can't go out for certain reasons, but she will be joining us for dinner today.

as you know our family is very wealthy and probably the wealthiest in this city, and we really dote on our little Serafine so sometimes she can't get her behavior under control, i apologize for the scene she caused last time. Serafine is a very nice girl with lots of friends but very rarely do i see her express interest in the opposite sex."

Indra still had a relaxed smile before he said " It's okay as i've said before i didn't really take it to heart and I'm sure the male in question is probably very happy to receive attention from the city princess."

"Hahaha i'm sure he is"

'What a tough nut to crack!' exclaimed Stefen inwardly

Indra conversed with Stefen through out the whole entire trip, while Irina and Kein just sat there bored with nothing to do except listen to the conversation between the young man and middle aged man. Just like Stefen said they did indeed arrive at the Villa in thirty minutes.

Although Stefen called it a villa it was more like a mini castle, the main theme of the villa was gold, blue, and white to give off a noble type of feel. Entering through the gates they saw lots of rare flowers in the multiple gardens surrounding the castle and little ponds where the fish were kept, this made the overall image of the castle pop out and look more beautiful than what it truly was.

Irina was shocked so many times today that Indra thought she might have a heart attack. Stefen led Indra and the duo behind him towards the dining room. The interior was glistening with gold and blue all over, Indra also noted there were five people sitting at a long table.

'mm that blond-haired one must be his eldest son around 25-26 maybe? and the brown haired one is the younger brother, about 20-21 i would say. Wow she is a beauty but why is she so overly dressed and her aura is different from her family she seems like a really kind and sweet young girl, unlike her family which is calculative and manipulative as for age wise i would say between 18-20.'

Irina saw Indra looking at her older bastard sister curiously and a bit intrigued which caused her jealousy to erupt, however she kept it under control.

'How come he didn't ever look at me like that? What does that bastard child have that i don't huh? I am way more beautiful than her, you should be looking at me!'

Irina bit her lip in frustration.

Stefen saw Indra curiously looking at his eldest daughter and frowned as he noticed that Indra did not even give a glance towards his most beautiful youngest daughter, but instead was showing interest in his eldest. Nonetheless he still introduced her.

"Ah that is my oldest daughter Madelyn Vienna, her mother died from sickness last year and is a half sibling of the rest."

'I see, just like i suspected then she must be so over dressed because she is trying to hide her bruises, she probably get's bullied in this family huh.'

Indra just nodded subtly at Stefens words.

"Alright why don't you guys go find your seats, the chefs will be bringing the food in soon."

Indra sat down to the right of madelyn, Indra and kein also followed Indra and sat down to each others rights. Across the table was Madam Vienna, Serafine, Logan Vienna, and Markus Vienna.

'Sigh, they really let her sit all by herself and isolated her, these people are ruthless'

Looking at the black haired girl seated next to him Indra decided to introduce himself with a handshake.

"Hi my name is Indra Uchiha, its nice to meet you. You must have already heard of me from your father."

The girl turned her head and her cheeks flushed briefly before she took his hand

"umm, likewise my name is Madelyn Vienna"

Looking at the girl's meek personality, Indra thought it was very cute.

Across the table Serafine was gritting her teeth and clenching her fist tightly but not to tightly as she did not want to hurt herself. She doesn't understand why Indra was showing that kind smile towards her sister when she is more beautiful.

'Why why why why?! Whats so special about her?! what don't you look that way towards me?! Is she really that pretty or do you just like uglier girls?!!'

The rest of the Vienna family was also confused as to why instead of greeting any of them and sitting on their side of the table he instead sat next to the bastard child of the family, and even looked like he was having a great time. However, what Indra said next directly stunned them.

"Madelyn? thats a very nice name, did anyone ever tell you that you are drop dead gorgeous?"

Instantly the whole room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Everyone including Irina and Kein looked at Indra who was smiling at the brown eyed girl who was now a deep shade of red in shock.

'Did he just confess?!'

Irina who had started thinking Indra was gay because he never had any reaction towards any type of woman started doubting what she heard. But also looking at everyone else's reactions she discerned that she had not heard it wrong.

kein was also thinking. 'This guy... he didn't even try to get to know her; Just went in straight for the kill.' He looked at Irina briefly before shaking his head 'I'll just go with the flow'

In the midst of this the girl in the eye of the storm still had her thoughts in disarray 'Oh my gosh! did he just confess?! what should i do? what should i say? why me? Is he messing with me? he's a little young, but he is very handsome, and he also looks serious. what should i do? what should i do?'

"T-thank y-you Mr.Uchiha"

Indra smiled gently and replied "You're welcome Madelyn and its alright if you just call me Indra like my friends do, because you're very special and i will only give you this privilege, because i very much like you."

At this point everyone at the table looked like their souls had just been sucked out of their bodies, they cannot believe what they were hearing! Stefen was also deep in his thoughts.

'This boy, how bold! Even after all this time i had tried to get him to call me Stefen, but he refused now after meeting my daughter once he had already given her permission to call him by his name and also used her first name?! But still this is not necessarily a bad thing, It seems like i will have to treat Madelyn well in the future because he has clearly expressed he has no interest whatsoever in Serafine. Why though? Why madelyn? Serafine is much more beautiful and refined with better features, is there something i am missing? Just what are you trying to accomplish Indra Uchiha?'

At this point Serafine could no longer keep her feeling bottled up inside and stood up in a fit of anger.

She pointed a finger at Indra and exclaimed "You! What's so good about that damn bitch? huh? Look at me i'm more beautiful, i have a better body, better clothes, but why is it that ever since i met you, you haven't once looked at me like how you looked at her once! she is just a bastard child why? why? why?! Just look at me!"

Upon hearing those words Madelyn lowered her head because she also knew that Serafine was right, she was indeed better overall in terms of beauty, talents, and wealth, so why did Indra chose her? Thinking all of this she suddenly felt a hand caressing her soft black hair, she raised her head to find the origin of the hand and looked up only to see Indra smiling gently at her, at the moment her brown eyes fluttered looking at Indra's handsome face because she knows that the smile he is showing her is real and geniune, not a fake one like the ones her sibling give her, This smile held immense amounts of kindness and warmth, peering deep into the black eyes of the young boy she could also see that he had once experiened what it felt like to be isolated and lonely, like a bird stripped of its wings trapped in a cage forever.

Indra also didn't know why he felt this way towards madelyn, he looked at her as if he was looking at his past life, he can see the desire to get away, the desire to be free..the desire to be liberated.

Indra turned his head to look at the young blue eyed girl who was still fuming with anger after seeing the brief interaction, but before she could say anything he interjected.

"Do i need a reason to like someone?"
