Sorry for not posting yesterday, I was busy with school and homework. I will try my best to update you guys everyday of my practices.
Today we did dryland outside and it was so frickin hot. We did a lot of bear crawls, toy soldiers, running, etc. A lot of tiring stuff. It was fun thought and my shoe kept falling off. Also it was coach steve's birthday and he brought cake but we didn't get any, but we got cookies because some mom bought cookies for us. WOO.
Today we had 3 lanes which sucked with like 5+ people in each lane well usually its like that but the girls were in our lanes. It really sucked. A lot. To start off warm up we did 8x125 odds free or back evens IM but one of the strokes are a 50. They were on last person touches which was so easy. Next we did our speed set of 4x (4x25 :40 :35 :30 :30 by round and it was 12.5 fast 15 fast 20 fast 25 fast) We also did that yesterday, but I was busy yesterday so I didn't post.
Our main set was 4x50 free 1:00 200 broken. My splits were 27, 29, 28, 28 nothing special which makes a 1:52 I think? Then we had a 100 warm down and did no fr or IM. I did IM and my splits were 28, 28, 38? I don't remember but I left on the 10 and touched on the 38 but idk if it was true or I believe that, 28 which equals like a 2:02 which is pretty good imo. My goal splits are 26,29, 38, 28. Idk what that equals to but that's what I'm going for.
Next we had 4x (75 500 pace 1:30 50 no fr 100 pace 1:00 25 hold the wall and flip fast :40) We like skipped a whole 50 on the last round lol and we didn't go on the interval we were supposed to go on, we went faster. After that we had 4x150 100swim 50 kick 2:20 but we didn't go on that interval either and we skipped a whole 100 on the last 150 lol. It was fun but it's whatever. I liked today's workout because broken of 100 or 200s are the best. Sorry again for not posting yesterday, enjoy reading today's post.
