030 Kushina’s Kidnapping

"Who's there?" 

Kushina called out, instantly on alert.

She knew her special status as the Nine-Tails Jinchūriki meant she had Anbu watching over her, and being in Konoha should mean safety. 

Yet, something about this situation felt off.

"Zzzzt!"

A sharp bolt of lightning sliced through the roof, creating a jagged opening like a knife. 

Two bodies fell through, hitting the floor with a thud. 

Blood poured from their abdomens, spreading across the wooden floor in a scarlet pool.

They have masks on their faces.

Kushina's pupils contracted suddenly.

Because she is very familiar with the two corpses.

It is Anbu who occasionally appears by her side and is responsible for protecting her.

The masked man glanced at Kushina and complained:

 Another laughed:

"Tayura, you helped us kidnap the Nine Tails Jinchūriki. Did you really think you could still stay in Konoha?"

"Don't worry," the other man assured. 

"You'll get everything I promised."

"The route has been arranged for you, leave from Route 2."

"What about this Hyuga girl?" one of the masked men asked, gesturing toward the unconscious Lindy.

Without hesitation, the voice replied, "Take her too. Even though she's from the branch family, her Byakugan might still be useful." 

"Just be careful—the Caged Bird seal could destroy it if we try to extract it by force."

But at least it has some research value.

After all, Cloud Shinobi Village has coveted the Byakugan for a long time.

Understood," 

The masked man said, giving Lindy a quick glance before disappearing with her.

"I'll stay behind to cover. You all leave immediately," 

"Yes."

To guarantee the mission's success, Cloud Shinobi Village had sent a team of six experienced ninjas. 

The group included three Jōnin and three Chūnin specializing in various skills. 

With this setup, combined with their auxiliary support, they were strong enough to destroy a small country.

In addition to Tayura, the Anbu spy placed in Konoha ten years ago, the total number of operatives involved reached seven. 

Almost all of them are strong enough to take on a Jōnin in a one-on-one fight. 

This number only includes the combatants; additional personnel were assigned to protect the escape route, create diversions, and confuse Konoha during the operation.

Cloud Shinobi Village deployed hundreds of people, activated numerous shadow techniques, and sacrificed many lives to successfully infiltrate Konoha. 

With Tayura's help, they were able to kill the Anbu protecting Kushina.

Their goal now is to escape Konoha as quickly as possible within the twenty-minute window. 

Elite Jōnin Clay from Cloud Shinobi Village will stay behind to delay Konoha's pursuit. 

This plan is to ensure the Nine Tails Jinchūriki reaches Cloud Shinobi Village, where they will use their special methods to create another powerful Jinchūriki for the Land of Thunder!

In time, the Land of Thunder will become the country with the most Jinchūriki in one fell swoop.

They will also defeat Konoha and gain the supremacy of the Kingdom of Thunder.

Simu casually flicked the scroll in his hand. This was the new ninjutsu Jiraiya had told Kushina to learn, but he had forgotten to show it to her today.

Simu knocked on the door and called out, "Kushina? I'm here to deliver the training scroll from Jiraiya sensei."
