Chapter 7: The UnSpoken Truth

Autumn didn't know what to expect, but the only thing she was really wondering was if Jason was ok or was even alive. All she could really do was keep walking and hoped it led to Jason.

As she walked she thought about what it would be like to have a normal life.

She closed her eyes and saw a wonderful brick house and her mother and father.

Somehow she could picture her real parents perfectly even though she didn't remember what they had looked like. She went to go hug them with their arms wide open. But then she stopped.

Those people weren't her parents. But she didn't know for sure.

Soon Autumn opened her eye's as the image faded away. She felt a tear down her cheek. She felt so hurt by the image but all she did was wipe the tear from her cheek and kept walking.

Soon she was able to hear Jason's voice crying for help.

"Jason I'm coming!" She said as she starting to run.

She ran as fast as she could until she found Jason on the ground with his clothes all dirty. Autumn ran up to Jason but as she did she looked around her and saw that she was surrounded by cloaked men.

"What do you want from me?!" Autumn shouted.

A few minutes passed. Soon one of the cloaked men stepped forward and revealed his face.

"I'm sure I told you many times what we wanted. But you really don't have much time to think about it. You don't have time at all to think. Your actually out of time. Your friend is dying slowly from poison but I'll give you what you need for it. First you must expect our request." The man said with a corner smile.

Even though she knew they were stronger then her, all she wanted to do was punch the man, who might've been the leader of this group, right in the face.

She was so mad and upset at the same time. Inside her she felt like a big strong angry hurricane. But she stood up with her eyes closed.

"You know, right now I really want to punch you right in the nose so you can feel how much pain I am in." Autumn said balling her fist.

"Well your anger brings out all your strength. I would love to see your true power right in front of my eyes" he said this time with a full smile.

"I'm not going to fight you. You may think I'm dumb or something. But I'm smarter than everyone of you in this room." She said opening her eye's with a big smile on her face.

"So you're too afraid to take me on in a one on one battle?" the man asked laughing.

Autumn smiled and also laughed.

"I'm not going to fight you because if I lay the first hit, my powers will be gone in one blow. You think I'm stupid enough to actually let you take my powers away." She said laughing even more with a big smile on her face.

"Hmm....your smarter than I realized. But the offer still stands. And honestly you don't have a choice." the man said with a grin on his face.

"Ok. I'll join your little group circle, but it doesn't mean I'll stay." Autumn said with a serious look.

The man smiled with joy.

"Jason you can stand up now. She has passed all the tests." the man said

Jason had stood up and smiled as Autumn turned around in shock.

Although his clothes were not in the best shape, Jason had looked fine and healthy as if he had never been poisoned in the first place.

"Jason?! What.....how?!"

Autumn couldn't speak. She was to surprised.

Autumn turned around to the man in the cloak.

"Please tell me what is going on." Autumn asked him.

"Well this was the test. Your mother told me when your eyes were finally opened to the truth that you would be ready to perform the tests. Your mother said that your emotions would trigger your full power. The tests were to see if that was true." the man said in a serious tone.

"Wait...so are you from....Ciler?" Autumn asked hesitating.

"Yes Ms. Relic." The man said smiling nicely

"Relic? My last name is Relic?" Autumn asked confused.

"Yes. That's your family name. Relic spelled backwards is Ciler. That's why you were given that last name." The man said.

"So do you have a name?" Autumn asked crossing her arms.

"Of course. My name is James Jones. I am the leader of the Woods Men. I have unbelievable powers like reading minds and of course taking other people's strength. But your mother blocked me from reading your mind. She blocked me from her other daughters to." He said in a serious tone.

Autumn had so many questions to ask him. But she also had to get back to the shop to see if the old man had figured out a way to New Jersey.

James went on his knees. And as he did so did the men around them.

"I'm sure you have many questions to ask me. You may take your time and ask me anything. I promise not to leave anything out. You deserve to know." James said looking up at me.

"Well...out of all the questions I want to ask there is one that's been in my head ever since I found out everything." Autumn said in a serious tone.

"Go ahead Ms. Relic. I'm listening." James said standing up as the other men followed his similar movement..

"I know that my mother is gone. But my mother never said anything about my father. Is my father still alive? And if so where might he be?" She asked

James stood there in shock.

" Ms. Relic, I thought your mother had told you I'm the letter she had written. Your father is alive. But he's not like your mother. Before our world or should I say your world was destroyed your mother had found out that your father was working for the Great Evil. He is the Great Evil. And on this planet he goes by Oliver. He wants his family to unite again. So he's sending people after you and your sister's. You can't join him. He wants all of your powers to himself so he can make another kingdom. But only for himself." James said with his eyes closed.

Autumn was shocked. She thought her father was a good person. But she was wrong. She thought if her father was alive that she could finally have a normal life with him and her three sisters. But it all just got worse. And she had a feeling she would see her father. And that she would have to fight him in a battle of life and death.
