Chapter 3 – Servants.

Some time passed after reading the thing read the letter. The thing that was once a person begin gathering and moving natural energy, practicing and training it, developing the understanding of it.

(…I think I'm ready to begin.)

A window like object appeared in front of him, floating in the air.

"Those are my stats, honestly, I don't know if they good or bad since I never saw stats of another being and what's the deal with questions marks next to my level? There is slash between level and questions marks, maybe it's something like limit level?"

"Like this?" – Your current level – 5 / Your max possible level – 25 (5/25).

"It was said in the letter that I'm new race, so it maybe unknown how much I can grow. I wonder what will happened if I reach max level, will I evolve into something?"

"…" – the thing quietly stared at the status window.

"There is nothing about my gender or name, maybe that means I don't have either of those. There is nothing as well about things like agility and strength, the typical stuff from the games and novels when dealing with status winddowns (STR, AGI, INT, stuff like that). That part honestly don't surprise me, I mean how am I going to physical attack someone? I am a giant ball that literally can't move nor I have any limbs!"

"Never mind that, for now I need to focus about creating a creature that will serv me."

"The letter said that I have affinity for creation and natural energy is used when dealing with it. The question how should I approached it? I already know some stuff about elements and how their work, but how do I create a living being? Should I imagine something like human or should I imagine just a ball of fire moving that is able to move around?"

"Ugh! I wish that I at least had some sort of hint….Oh wait….I'm the hint….In novels and game the golems monster have something like cores that acts like their main organ. I'm a literally ball that is able to control energy. Maybe I should just imagine their form and make core thing that will act as their organ?"

"Hmmmm…. Okay, let's do it that way. I don't know how much energy I need to use, so I should try making something grand but instead something simple."

The thing begin gathering the energy of the water as well as water itself from the lake. After collecting both of them, he begin mixing them together.

"Imagine nature energy as beating heart and blood, imagine water as the flesh and bones."

The water itself started taking the shape of a sphere and then begin betting like a real hearth.

(I can feel my natural energy being drained, but I feel something different being drained as well. [Status].)

[MP: 432/450] [NE: 977/1000]

(My MP is being drained as well? So natural energy and material {water} is not enough, you need mana as well.)

(I can somehow faintly sense the mana after feeling it leaving my body. Let's stop for the moment.)

The moment sphere stopped controlling the nature energy, water stopped floating in the air and instantly feel on the ground.

(When I first senses natura energy, I felt barely senses it as well, but there is massive difference.)

(The first energy I senses was water element, I could sense the feeling of swimming when I interacted with it. However with mana, I don't feel any feelings or anything, I instead feel a presence, like I could touch it and not at same time, it's heavy and light at same time, quiet calm yet bizarre at same time.)

(The question is how do I move it? I was able to move and control natura energy after replicating the feeling and imaginating the elements they represent. The mana is completely different, so I doubt using the same method that I'm using with natural energy will work.)

"Should I try just imaginating it moves?"

(Focus on the faint feeling of mana and imagine it moving it.)

(…!)

"It worked? Wow, it was surprisingly ease? I'm moving the mana inside me bit sluggish, but it's doable. Now that I can sense it more clearly as well, should I try seeing it?"

"…Nope focusing don't work. Should I try looking while using mana like some sort of glasses?"

The sphere coated one side of it with mana and focus its vision though it.

"It works by look of things. Unlike natural energy mana have many colors. I can literally see mana whichever way I look, letter did mention that mana is present everywhere. It's not like there is overwhelming amount of it here, there is just a very little amount."

"Hmm?" – the thing looked towards red flowers, noticing something coming from them.

"It's not natural energy, is it mana? It look quite different, it's red. Does mana color and form changes depending on vessel? If that is the case, I wonder how my mana look like?"

The thing releases its own mana around it, filling the area with many colors.

"Rainbow? My mana is a literally rainbow."

"…." – the thing returned all of its mana, back to the main body.

"I can to some extend control mana around me as well…...Am I forgetting something?"

"Oh right the servant thing!"

"Let's try this time while using mana."

The process begin once again, the water, the natural energy and energy of water begin once again taking the shape of the sphere, but this time a mana was infused as well.

(The process is lot more smother compere to the previous attempt, that means I took a completely wrong path last time.)

The shape of the water begin drastically changing, the form, the size and the nature.

(I think it's working! I need to keep form stable and keep suppling it with power. Visuals the shape and imagine it alive.)

The water suddenly stopped moving. The thing though he had failed with his attempt because he felt gaining some strength, thinking that mana and natural energy returned to him. until a small amount of mana and natural energy bursted from the floating water.

A system suddenly appeared in front of it.

[You had successfully created a new being!]

[You created completely new being that had never existed before. Please name the race of your creation.]

(!) – the thing was stunned for few seconds after reading the messenger.

(It actually worked? Holy sh*t, I thought that I have to do tons trials and errors, before it actually workers. Is it luck or am I actually skilled?)

(Name….hmmm. What should I name you?) – the thing wonders as he gazed at the.

The creature was made out of the water and was levitating close to the surface of the ground.

(I'm not the one making it float, it's doing it by itself. When was creating I though about flying water droplet, meaning my vision of what I'm trying to create influence the outcome as well. Huh, nice to know.)

(You are my first creation, you are literally a newborn and quiet weak, but you have room to improve and grow as well. Hmmm…)

"Okay I got it. Your race shall be "Newborn Water"."

[Naming procedure completed. The new race shall be called "Newborn Water".]

[The creation process have been completed.]

A single loud hearth beat like sound could be hearth coming from the floating water, indicating the creature birth.

A small ball of the water begin changing its shape, taking appearance of water droplet with google eyes.

"Hello there little buddy."

[You are able now able to view your servant status.]

"His stats are completely different compare to mine, he have thing like STR and AGI compare to me who don't have either of those."

"[Water Magic]? An ability that allows user to use water magic. Why does it have that? I don't have that skill or anything when I looked at my stats….wut?" – the thing opened it status window to see [Water Magic] in his skill list.

"Why do I have [Water Magic]? Is it because my servant, have it? Hmm….No that not it. If that was the case I would have [Water Absorption] as well."

"Wait a second, before he was born, I got weird surge of power, I though that was my mana and natural energy returning to me, but if that was a case, I would had recovered them then. Was that surge something like notification that I acquired new skill then? It's most likely option."

"Well I'm not complaining!"

"Hmmm…Let's try making servants out of other elements."

15 minutes later.

[Newborn Fire] [Newborn Wind] [Newborn Earth]

There was three new floating being in front of sphere, a fire ball, wind ball and rock ball with google eyes.

(I feel quiet exhausted and I feel bit drowse, I have about 10% of my natural energy and mana left. So if you use too much you end up fatiguing yourself huh? What would happened if it either of these hit 0? Not trying to find out.)

The four floating elements gathered near the sphere.

"Let's worry about energy for later and for now, I have some testing to do involving you my loyal servants."
