Claw

Screams and cries of fear and pain came from below all of a sudden, the people that were still alive on the wreckage were suddenly slashed without any warning.

A cold taunting voice came from below. "Come down or I will kill them all.. no wait… how about this. Try and fight us all off before they all bleed to death."

It came from Shiryu who had taken the Clear Devil Fruit after the Blackbeard Pirates had found the traces of the Absalom who was a member of the pirate group under the former Warlord, Gecko Moria.

Shiryu had been using his Clear Devil Fruit abilities to make himself invisible along with anything that he had held in his hands.

He had been known as a bloodthirsty psychopath even during his days as a Head Jailer of Impel Down and he had been even less restrained in his actions once he joined the Blackbeard Pirates.

His sword was a nodachi that was at the neito grade and was called Raiu, neito grade swords were legendary swords that had a famous or well known name.

His movements were very quiet and quick which had made him very suited to being an assassin and his swordsmanship was very precise and dexterous which further complimented his style of combat that had been paired with his invisibility.

His deceitful and murderous nature had further made him a much greater threat for anyone to fight.

Shiryu had not killed anyone but they were all within his reach and could be killed off easily unless Carrot did not come down from the sky.

If she failed to heed his words then people would be killed and if she did follow along with what he wanted then there was still a time frame for her to defeat those that outnumbered her.

An elbow that had been covered in a metal armour had been aimed towards Carrot who was still in the sky and had been surrounded by the fog. "Weehahaha!"

Jesus Burgess was originally planning on using a powerful shockwave to match the powerful breath attack but once he saw how it was not that type of attack, he held it back and waited until he got closer to Carrot to release his attack.

Carrot saw the incoming figure that was coming towards her at a very fast speed so she responded with her own move.

A claw had been thrust forward and suddenly clashed against the elbow as the force of both attacks had created a large amount of force that spread out around them. "Dragon Claw!"

Carrot had trained in all kinds of techniques from slashing, piercing and grabbing moves that were all very powerful along with further improving her best features with other techniques.

Finger Pistol, Tempest Kick and Dragon Claw were all very suited to her for claw based techniques while Shave and Moon Walk increased her speed and air movement further.

When she had the Faerie Dragon Devil Fruit to further improve that, they all become enhanced further to bring out their full potential.

The claw pushed through the shockwave force that had been created by the elbow of Jesus Burgess and then gripped onto the metal armour before tightening her grip.

The claw was further enhanced by Armament Haki and it easily crushed the metal that protected his elbow which caused it to fall apart.

The claw continued to close in on his elbow and caught it before it was going to get away.

"Gh..ahh."

Another figure had appeared a little after Jesus Burgess had attacked and a slash was sent out towards the body of Carrot. "Crescent Moon!"

Carrot kicked out her legs and flapped her wings so that her body could quickly change her position and she flew up a little higher with Jesus Burgess still in her grip.

Her arm threw him out towards Catarina Devon who had tried to take advantage of the opportunity that had been given to her.

Most would have been very easy to deal with when they were distracted with one opponent so it was much better for her to attack Carrot during or just after Carrot had clashed with Jesus Burgess.

She did not expect Carrot to be able to take on such a technique so quickly and be able to respond in time for her attack.

Carrot had given up on damaging the elbow of Jesus Burgess any further just so she could put a stop to the attack from Catarina Devon by using him as a shield and throwing him into her path.

She was fighting pirates that used dirty tactics all the time so why should she play fair and let them keep the advantage in combat?

Carrot made a good decision based on the little time she had and it had helped to delay the battle further as the fog had spread out. 'Is it taking effect? Please work..'

Carrot had tested her breath on Alyssia but it seemed like it did not affect her or she had a way to resist it.

It was unknown if the others could do the same but it was worth trying out to see if the fog could help tip the scales more in her favour.

Her two legs, tail and claws moves quickly in the air as they all swept out and sent out many wind blades that flew down to meet the slash that had almost arrived near her.

The wind blade that had been sent out by Shiryu had been dispersed and many other wind blades had been sent towards the bodies of Catarina Devon and Jesus Burgess who were falling down back towards the deck of the wrecked ship.
