Chapter 57 Sneaking in [1]

With Drag's love life sorted, May left the kobold camp and started making her way towards her destination.

May did not know how she would stop nearly 2000 paladins on her own after all they were not weak monsters like goblins or Kobolds they were church paladins with stats ranging from 50 to 70 respectable but she had some dastardly plans she was saving and was now planning on using them.

It will take 3 days to get there by May's speed and 5 days are needed for all of them to regroup so they will probably start marching on the 6 or 7th day which gave May plenty of time to act.

[3 Days of Traveling Later]

May was on a cliff overlooking the Paladin camp, She saw a large amount of tents all closely packed and a lot of black dots moving all around.

"They are like little ants all running around, without a care in the world"

[Well to them this is a routine cult extermination so they obviously won't bring their A-game]

'Hmm'

May saw how close all the tents were a fire will probably spread fast but there will probably be a lot of water mages too so that course is not recommended.

[So what's the plan]

'I don't need to kill them I only need to delay them long enough so I can get those tropes'

[Okay but I'm asking what's the plan to deal with them and how are you planning on delaying a 2000-man army on your own]

'Heh That my dear Amira is simple I will give them something that will traumatise them'

'Okey I had enough of acting mysterious so I will just tell you, I am planning on giving the paladins diarrhoea'

'I mean think about it it is not serious enough so the healing mages won't heal them so they can preserve mana and it is serious enough that they will need to camp out until it passes'

[... but how much time will that buy you really?]

'A week tops'

[It seems you are dead set on your diarrhoea plan so I won't interfere]

'Of course, it is a brilliant plan'

With her plan set, she started thinking of a way to sneak into the camp she was able to see it was heavily guarded even more so the food storage tent but that did not mean it was impossible to get in, no rather it meant it was highly improbable.

'Do you know what is the weakness of a large Army ?'

[Probably]

'Spoilsport ahm it is that the larger the army the more likely it is that they all won't know each other'

'So that means a disguise is a valid way of sneaking in'

May willed her Drake scale armour out of her inventory but before she was about to put it on she made out that her armour was probably different than the paladins.

So she stored her armour again and started making her way towards the camp using Stealth to the maximum.

[What happened to your sneaking-in plan]

'It's still on just need new Armor'

'And what do you know some poor smuck just volunteered'

May started making her way towards the camp moving very slowly and little at a time as she did now want to be spotted by a scout or trigger a trap or any of the other unpredictable things.

As she came closer to the camp she heard some rustling in the bushed she sneaked closer hoping it was what she needed.

.

And as her luck will have it, it was exactly what she wanted a full set of paladins armor but it was still attached to a Knight and that Knight was now defecating but still it was exactly what she wanted.

So she started to work towards her goal of removing the Knight from her new armour by sneaking in closer, close enough to quickly kill him so he couldn't make a sound.

As May came closer a foul stench assaulted her nose causing it to scrunch.

'What did he eat for it to smell this bad'

[It was Stale food and jerky]

'Amira That's was not a serious question'

[Oh I know]

'You little-'

As May was about to lay into Amira for being snarky again, she had to stop as she reached her target.

Willing a sh*ty sword out of her inventory, May got ready to strike and end this fight before it even began.

When she was ready she jumped into action pulling the head of the Knight to the side so she could expose the neck, The Paladin was shocked that someone attacked him but he was still a highly trained combatant so he went straight for his sword while casting a water mana barrier.

But May was not having it, with all 100 points in Agility she struck with her sword breaking the paladin's mana barrier in the process.

'CRACK'

The sword did not stop until the paladin's head was cleanly cut off and the blood started spurting everywhere.

[Great work now you have bloody Paladin armour what are you going to do now ?]

'Clean it duh'

May started striping the corpse of all of its valuables, when she got everything she was able to she stored the corpse and started putting on the armour.

When it was on she willed some water out of her inventory to wash the blood away.
