News of Eve's removal from "Vogue" cover soon spread throughout the industry. Although "Vogue" announced that it was a delay, not termination. But due to the lack of a clear reason, no one believed it much. Even if few people knew something through their channels, they kept quiet and watched the show of others making fun of Eve. After all, this is Hollywood, and too much success is bound to have strong opposition and haters.

Many laughed and shouted hearing the mockery. Eve's position in the female circle has always been awkward since the beginning. Male actors might not have much of clash with her, but the situation is exact opposite among female actresses. They are only few top resources in Hollywood and this narrows a lot more especially for females. Everytime a big commercial project is in production, it is no less of a war among actresses. The resources they crave for so desperately are so easily avalaible to Eve, so it's understandable in a way that most

women in industry don't have a positive impression of her or even hate her.

Gewynyth heard the recent gossips from her agent, and smiled. She has waited so long for this day. Eve Thompson's jokes are now everywhere around the industry. Getting terminated by "Vogue" is a big shame for any celebrity.

The agent saw his client's satisfied expressions, and said: "Gwen, you don't have to worry. Thompson's position is very embarrassing right now, and it will be even more after "Titanic" is released. You just have to focus on new project with Miramax. It is a film especially prepared for Oscars."

Gwenyth nodded. Yes, she just needs to prepare for "Shakespeare in love". It is a big project especially prepared by Miramax for Oscars. Harvey has promised to help her fight for the best actress trophy through the movie. As for that bitch, let her enjoy a few more days of rest. "Kevin, Are you sure Universal really called me to audition?" Eve asked slowly while getting out of the car. It's hard to believe that she who was not favoured by big studios till yesterday, was now suddenly called by Universal to audition for their one of the most big budget projects ever.

Kevin nodded: "Just consider it as your luck and a little efficiency on my side. Universal's new project "Meet Joe black" is going to be their one of the biggest investments ever. They have both a director like Martin Beast, and Pitt as the lead actor. But the irony is that both the actor and Director were not very satisfied with the female lead given by the studio. Therefore, the studio had no choice but to call other actresses for the audition. Many actresses have already auditioned before you, and now it's your turn. As long as the director and actor are satisfied with you, then you don't have to worry about the studio."

Eve nodded. Martin Beast is a great director who has previously gave a movie like "Scent of a woman". It helped the legendary Al Pacino win the Oscar for best actor in 1991. As for Brad Pitt, he's the current favorite of the industry who has already solidified his position as an A-lister with massive hits like "Seven", "12 Monkeys", Interview with the Vampire", etc in recent years. Therefore, despite being an actor, his words still hold a little influence in casting choice. Now it can be understood why would a big studio like Universal send her the audition opportunity, despite being on its block out list. It must be director who must've insisted on it.

She followed Kevin inside the studio and there were three people standing together having a discussion. She could identify only one of them, while Kevin seemed to have identified all three and moved forward to greet everyone with a large smile.

The three who were talking heard Kevin's voice and turned around too.

The man named Jim was first one to hug Kevin. They both met like close friends. The second person also greeted with hug, but his tone was more respectful than friendly. While the third one whom Eve identified by herself, he just gave a polite greeting.

Kevin noticed her standing behind, and called her: "Come Eve, meet them. This is Jim Savitz, he's the producer of the movie. And here's Sam, he's with Caa." He then turned his head toward the third person," And here's our new superstar, Brad Pitt."

Jim Savitz's eyes lit up: "Hi Eve, You are even more beautiful in real life than the pictures."

Eve greeted back politely, although her eyes were still on Pitt, the only person she identified by herself.

Brad Pitt has short blond hair, wearing round

sunglasses, probably just had his face trimmed before going out, so his skin looks smooth. Although he is wearing a black suit and a wide tie, because of the unruly smile on the corner of his mouth and his shirt's neckline not being very meticulous, it looks very sunny and hot. No wonder there's a reason why he's called the sexiest man.

Pitt, behind the sunglasses was also looking at the new generation star of hollywood. She has a small face, long golden blonde hair, much skinnier than him. And those beautiful blue eyes are like vast blue ocean, sucking its viewers inside them. She looks so sweet and charming, yet not losing even a bit of elegant and grace. But most importantly, that innocent and shy look of her takes her charm to a whole new level.
