When He Asks You Out

Creeper tosses the corpse down a hole that leads to the basement of an abandoned facility he's been staying in. Now that he's done with his work for today, he opens his wings and flies into the air with incredible speed. He plans on going to your home and somehow, someway, he's going to ask you to be his.

Meanwhile, you were watching tv in the living room binge-watching your favorite show. That's when you hear a vehicle pull up in the driveway. As you walk to the window to see who has pulled up, you slightly open the curtain to see who it is. When you see the vehicle, you hurry to the front door to lock it. That's your ex-boyfriend's sports car, the same guy you moved all the way to the countryside to get away from.

He steps out of the car and walks to the front porch. He doesn't even try to knock and just straight up tries to open the door. Thankfully, you locked the door. You stand a few feet away from the door, hearing him try to open it as he bangs on the door, calling your name. Even though you know he's outside, you don't even wanna open the curtains to see him.

Y/n: JUST LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE! WE'RE DONE!

Ex-Boyfriend: Open the door, I just want to talk.

He bangs on the door even louder as he pushes his body against the door, trying to break in by force. Where's Creeper when he said he'd be here to protect you? Should you really be surprised? Your whole life was full of false promises...

You run back to the living room to grab your phone and head towards the kitchen and pull a knife out of the drawer. As he continues to push himself against the door, you dial 911. But just as you were about to press the call button to call the police, you hear another sound. It seems like your ex just yelled at someone before you heard a thrashing sound. And that's when you hear a familiar flapping sound coming from outside.

Holding the kitchen knife in your hand, you rush towards the window in the hope it is who you think it is. Opening the curtains and you no longer see your ex-boyfriend. You look around just in case he's still around, but after confirming that he's not on the front porch anymore, you slowly open the door. You still have the knife in hand, just in case.

Then you see Creeper land on the ground, his wings still open as he stands up. You run over to him, thinking that maybe your ex is still around and you want to be close to Creeper if he is still around.

Y/n: He's here! He's here!

That's when you notice he's holding something behind his back. He sees you trying to see what he has, and that's when he shows you what he's holding. A still-beating human heart.

Y/n: I-Is... is that from him?

Creeper: I said I would protect you, and that's what I did.

.

Even though you find it unsettling to see your ex's heart that's been ripped from his chest, you feel relieved that you don't have to live in fear anymore. He kept his word. Ignoring the beating heart in his hand, you immediately hug him tightly. While you hug him, a body falls out of the sky and lands in the barn, causing a hole in the roof. As he returns your embrace, you hear a loud crash that breaks through the roof of the barn, but you don't feel bothered to stop hugging Creeper for your dead ex falling through the roof of your barn. You'll just get the roof replaced.

You never felt this safe and secure in your life, not even when you were with your ex. And at this moment you realize your true feelings for Creeper. Though he's not human, it somehow doesn't bother you, not one bit.

Creeper: There is something I have to say.

You look up at him while your arms are still around him.

Y/n: Hm?

Creeper: This heart... is to represent something.

.

The idea of "I give my heart to you" comes to mind and causes you to blush. Yeah, it's technically not his heart, but it's the saying and this scene that counts.

Creeper: How I give you... my heart. If you don't wish to be-

Y/n: Yes. And well, to be honest... I'll be happy to give you a chance.

.

Regardless of whether he's a demon or a humanoid creature that everyone fears and you're only human. You don't care about that. Plus, although a dramatic scene, this is the most romantic thing any guy has ever done for you.

You wrap your arm around his and lead him into the house where you cook the heart for him to eat. Of course, you knew he can eat it raw, but you wanted to cook it to add flavor for him, as well as cook more meat for him and you.

A feeling of euphoria fills his chest as he realizes that you are finally his. Now he no longer has to watch you from afar, keep his distance or worry about you not being interested in him as he is with you. And you feel the same way about him. In fact, you've never felt this way before. So the crush you had on him wasn't just a small one.

After eating dinner together, you let out a yawn and he volunteers to carry to upstairs. You initially thought he was joking, but as soon as he got up, he carries you up like a princess before he heads up the stairs and into the bedroom. He gently places you on the bed and as you cover yourself with the blanket, a thought came to mind.

Y/n: Hey, if you want, you can sleep here with me.

Creeper: (Smiles) I would like that.

He joins you in the bed, taking the other side of the bed. And because you feel more comfortable and safe in his arms, you move over to him so he can have his arms around you while you sleep. And it wasn't long before you begin to feel sleepy since he also started to gently run his fingers through your head and hair.
