PYRRHA NIKOS POV

She looked at the table and chair kept at the roof of their building and the well placed food and candles on the table and it took her only a moment to understand what this was.

A candle light dinner.

Her heart skipped a beat at the scene and then it started to beat faster and faster as he took her by the hand and led her to a chair.

She sat down on the chair, wondering if this was real or if she dreaming as Jaune sat in front of her and gave her a sheepish grin that did funny things to her.

"Jaune. You didn't have to do this." She said, feeling a bit overwhelmed by the whole experience.

Who would've thought that her life would change to such a large degree after coming to Beacon.

Whatever she had expected when she came to Beacon, falling in love with a Dragon who had a personal Pocket Dimension larger than Vale and having a candle light dinner with him on the roof of the Beacon hostel was not it.

"Sorry if it's not up to your expectations." Jaune said with an embarrassed look "This is my first time doing something like this. So…"

"It's perfect." She blurted out before he could say anything else. Because it was. It was more than perfect. It was everything that she never knew she wanted until she had it.

She remembered how lonely her life had been since her childhood. How she had put all of her focus on training and improving herself, leaving her with little to no time to play with kids her own age.

She remembered how the students back in Sanctum Academy saw her not as Pyrrha Nikos the lonely teenager in need of some companionship but as Pyrrha Nikos the Invincible Girl.

She thought of how things have changed ever since she came to Beacon Academy.

How she now had friends who didn't put her in a pedestal for being the Invincible girl and a boyfriend who loved her for who she was and not for her title.

A warm feeling surged in her heart at those thoughts and she felt tears forming in her eyes from the happiness she was feeling.

"Oh Pyrrha." Jaune said as he moved across the table to sit beside her and then pulled her in a hug.

She felt his warm hand wrap around her and leaned into his chest, tears of happiness slowly falling down her cheeks and into his shirt.

Gods, she must look like a mess right now.

She felt his thumb gently slide over her cheek and removing the tears from her face.

With a content sigh, she closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around his back, feeling thrilled at the closeness saw was feeling toward him.

She put her ears on his chest and felt the warmth emanating from his body along with his rapid heartbeat, her own heartbeat picking up in response.

They stayed like that for a while, simply content in each other's presence before she suddenly remembered the food that Jaune had prepared for her.

It would get cold if they don't eat it.

She looked up to say that but then froze as her eyes met his and she realized how close she was to him. Her heart tried it's best to beat out of her chest and she felt warmth pool between legs as she gulped and stared in his deep blue eyes.

"I…" she tried to say but then her mind blanked as his hand reached her face to put a strand of hair behind her ears. His hand then reached back and cupped her face.

She licked her suddenly dry lips, her heart now hammering in her chest as her gaze went toward his own lips.

She knew what was going to happen next. A part of her wasn't ready for this yet. She she killed that part and buried in the in the deepest recess of her mind as she leaned down on the hand cupping her face.

Jaune moved forward and-

It wasn't passionate kiss and she certainly didn't know what she was doing as her lips met against his own.

Their nose brushed against each other and she felt her teeth click against his own.

It was not a good kiss by any means.

Yet.

It was perfect.

She closed her eyes and gave her whole self to the moment, feeling his hand tighten around her waist as he pulled her closer to him, wanting to-

CRASH!!!

The door leading to the roof flung opened and 5 familiar faces tumbled out of the door and fell on top of each other.

Jaune separated from her before she could do anything and she instantly felt the loss of his lips against her own.

She wanted to go back to that moment. Go back to that kiss. But…

"This isn't what it looks like." Ruby said before she rubbed her head and gave a apologetic smile to her.

She didn't miss the blush on Ruby's cheeks and how the younger girl couldn't meet Jaune's eyes.

"This is definitely what it looks like!" Nora said with a huge smile as she pulled up from the ground by Lie Ren.

"We're really sorry Pyrrha. We didn't want to ruin your date with Jaune." Yang said with a grimace.

She clutched her hand, her fists tightening and her anger rising the more they talked.

They had no right to crash her first date with Jaune like this.

She wasn't usually a person who got angered so easily. But after finding someone who loved her for who she was... Just when she was having her first kiss.

They had no right to do this.

No right to ruin her first kiss.

"I forgive you." Jaune said as he looked at the 5 unwanted people who had barged into her date with Jaune.

"Thank you Jaune." Weiss said as she got up from the ground and tried to wipe the dirt form her dress and look prim and proper once again "I assure you this-"

"Please leave." Jaune said in an uncharacteristically serious tone. "I would like to continue my date with Pyrrha."

Ruby opened her mouth to say something but Yang clasped her hand on her younger sister's mouth and pulled her away from the roof.

Ren did the same with an overexcited Nora and Weiss gave both of them one last apologetic look before she left the roof and closed the door behind her.

Once they had left she let out a breath that she didn't knew she had been holding and then froze as she felt Jaune's lips on her neck.

His lips. On her neck.

Her eyes widened and her back went ramrod straight as he finally stopped kissing her neck and moved on to nuzzle her forehead with his own.

"Forgive them Pyrrha. I am sure they didn't mean to crash our date like they did." He said.

And she felt her anger leave her.

Just like that.

How could she not forgive them when he was asking so nicely.

She took a deep breath and turned to face him, her forehead resting against his own and the recent disturbance all but forgotten "I forgive them."

"Very well." He said and then leaned forward to kiss her in the cheeks, a mischievous smile adorning his face. "Let's continued with our date then."
