Chapter 3 Being Watched

A few minutes later after eating the food everything was silent everyone was still on edge especially about what just happened but shrugged it off once everyone besides Overhaul and Dabi decided to head outside to have some fun.

Overhaul: ...

Staying silent not saying a word especially thinking about heading to the basement once again even the thought of seeing those terrible nightmares still scare him. The thought of killing Shigaraki over and over again scares him. Already remembering the dream over and over again especially what behind that door.

Dabi: Want to go outside?

Looks at him calmly yet holds on to his hand gently wanting to comfort him.

Overhaul: Honestly though I want to head back to the basement I feel like I should be there...

Says it softly yet trembles to the thought of going down there but the feeling that he has to still lingers.

Dabi: You serious right now? Are you that stupid it seems that the basement is giving you so much trauma since your trembling right now...

Looks at him very annoyed yet concern over his well being.

Overhaul: Go hang out with your friends... I need to be alone.

Pulls his hand away from him as he got up.

Dabi: You really want to go down there and do what? Remember this isn't even our house it's a rental!

Grabbing his hand pulls him back to the couch. Making him sit down on his lap as he placed his arms around him.

Dabi: How about you relax okay?

Kisses his cheek softly.

Overhaul: I have to go down there I want answers...

Says it softly while looking down not feeling any affection towards Dabi at all. His mind was completely focused on what's in the basement.

(In his mind).

"I'm always feel like I'm being watched constantly... Does anyone feels that way or it's just me?"

Trembling more as he stays in Dabi's tight grip.

(Out of his mind).

Dabi: Just relax Kai just focus on relaxing...

Says it softly while holding on to him gently.

Overhaul: I really want answers and plus you should be hanging out with your friends not me...

Says it calmly yet still have the need to go down to the basement to search for some answers.

Dabi: What if I want to hang out with you instead?

Holds on to him gently kissing the back of his neck softly wanting him to stay with him at least for a while.

Overhaul: ...

Blushing slightly looking back at him.

Overhaul: I guess for a short while I guess...

Smiles at him as he closes his eyes a bit.

(At the basement).

Shigaraki: Overhaul been getting nightmares and it started here...

Looking around the room to check if there's anything suspicious in the room.

Toga: Ooo I know what we should do tonight! I got a game that could talk to the ghosts who knows what we could find.

Says it with a smile but smiles at the thought of playing the game with friends and especially being in an actual haunted house.

Shigaraki: Nice I'll tell everyone about the game but don't tell Overhaul since I don't want him to feel more worse than he already is.

Says it calmly while remembering the screaming he heard many times.

Toga: But it has something to do with Overhaul maybe something here wants him.

Her tone went to more serious since thinking about what just happened. Remembering the screaming as well wondering what just happened.

(At the living room).

Sleeping soundly in his arms but has a uneasy feeling about being watched constantly by someone or something unknown. Trembling slightly in his sleep as he woke up a little finding himself in a different room which was the basement or the door that was in the basement. Getting up slowly to walk around but everything was pitch black darkness which made him really uncomfortable.

Overhaul: Dabi...

Says it softly yet felt a bit shaken about being in a different room. Feeling a burning sensation on chest lifting his shirt up to see a giant scratch that's shape of a upsidedown cross. Heartbeating fast as he screams so loud in fear. Hearing footsteps coming in closer to him causing him to scream even louder. Backing away quickly and immediately went towards to the door trying to open it. Banging on the door wanting to be let out.

Overhaul: Someone Help Me!

(At the basement).

Shigaraki: ...

Hearing screaming coming from the living room.

Shigaraki: That sounds like Overhaul!

Running up the stairs along with Toga looking over and noticed Dabi trying to calm him down.

Shigaraki: What happened?

Looks at him very concerned.

Dabi: I guess he might've dozed off and I think he had another nightmare.

(In his mind).

"For some reason coming to this place might be a bad idea... Damnit I should've not forced him to come... It's my fault..."

(Out of his mind).

Overhaul: ...

Waking up and immediately took off his shirt to see if that mark was on his chest. Trembling uncontrollably as he noticed that it was a different symbol which it was Inverted Pentagram.

Overhaul: I want to leave I'm going to leave... I don't want to stay here someone is watching me I could feel it they're getting closer and closer to me...

Tearing up more as he slowly breaks down in tears.

Dabi: Kai it's okay I'm here don't you worry I'll protect you.

(In his mind).

"Something tells me it's a false promise."

(Out of his mind).

Toga: Let's play the game right now cause it's a perfect opportunity!

Goes to her room.

Shigaraki: Hey Dabi I think it's time to find some answers but you have to trust me on this...

Looks at him calmly yet looked over at Overhaul who's sobbing uncontrollably.

Dabi: I trust you...

Says it calmly yet still holds on to Kai.

Hearing footsteps coming down quickly. Both noticing Toga holding a box that says Ouija board.

Dabi: Ouija board!? Have you seen scary movies!?

Looks at her concern over what she's holding.

Toga: Those movies are fake nobody is going to die by the game.

Says it calmly while opening the Ouija board and shows them the board that has the alphabet and yes or no.

Shigaraki: Where did you get that?

Looks at her calmly yet wonders on how she gets that game.

Toga: I found it outside it was near a abandoned building in the way back.

Looks at both of them with a smile.

Dabi: Abandoned building...

Mumbles it to himself.

(In his mind).

"Maybe looking for answers wouldn't hurt that much but what about Kai usually in horror movies it always go wrong... Damn I have to do something..."

Holding on to him tightly not letting him go.

(Out of his mind).

Overhaul: I want to leave please can we leave!

Looks at him begging him to leave with him.

Dabi: Sorry Kai we can't since uhh you haven't seen the entire place.

Smiles at him nervously but felt really sad for saying no to him even though the thought of him suffering makes him feel more worse than better.

Overhaul: No no no please let's leave! It's too dangerous to be here please Dabi please.

Looks at him as he continued on begging to leave the house however the sudden feeling of being watched constantly causes him to tremble a lot. Covering his face as he continued on sobbing.

Shigaraki: It will be okay ya know since I study some of the paranormal...

Says it nervously even though the thought of everything being okay could be a bit of a lie. Scratching the back of his head.

Dabi: What Shigaraki had said everything will be fine.

Smiles at him as well.

Overhaul: ...

Tearing up slightly as he couldn't believe what he just heard coming from Dabi. Frowning more as wipes his tears away.

Overhaul: Whatever...

Mumbles it to himself while walking away from them both heading out.

Dabi: Wait!

Reaching out for him but couldn't go after him since knowing he just needed to be alone.

Shigaraki: Just give him some time.

Says it calmly while remembering the basement for a short moment already having a sudden feeling of being watched constantly.

(In his mind).

"This feeling is like I'm being watched..."

Looking back at the door that leads to the basement and noticed the pitch black already feeling uneasy like someone is standing in the darkness just watching them talk about what they're planning on doing.

"Is this the feeling that Overhaul is talking about?"

Heart pounding very fast but shrugged off the uneasy feeling.

(Out of his mind).

Toga: Are we going to play or not?

Looks at both of them.

Shigaraki: Sure but let's head over to the basement on where it all started.

Says it calmly.

Dabi: Should we ask everyone or no?

Looks at them both calmly yet wonders if it's a good idea to drag other people into the dangerous game.

Toga: More people the better.

Smiles happily while holding the game board.

Few minutes later after calling everyone into the basement except for one person which it was Overhaul. The clouds in the sky begins to cover the sun like it's about to rain.

(Outside under a tree).

Looking down at the floor still feeling the stinging sensation from an unknown identity. Trembling slightly still feeling that something or someone is watching him. Having a feeling of constant watch.

Overhaul: Why we can't just leave?

Mumbles it to himself while looking down at the grass and noticed that it was dying right before it eyes as a strange odor of something had died surrounded him causing him to feel so uneasy.

Overhaul: What's that?

Covering his face but looked up to see someone hanging right above him.

(At the basement).

Toga: Now everyone placed your fingers on this thing. We will speak to the one who here in this place.

Says it happily while placing her finger down and looked at everyone else to see they'll put their finger down as well.

Everyone looked at each other for a single moment before doing what Toga is doing.

Shigaraki: It only be a few minutes...

Says it calmly while placing his finger on the item.

Dabi: ...

Placing his finger on the item as well. Already feeling a sudden chill in the air like the temperature of the room.

Toga: It's starting to get cold in here...

Says it a bit excitedly but didn't expected that things would start.

The temperature continues to drop as the lights begin to flicker on and off until the light shatters into pieces. Everyone in the room panics and stops messing with the board.

Dabi: So something is here but I'm going to keep playing the game.

Still keeping him fingers on the object.

Dabi: Your not scaring me away!
