Three Days
Darkness swirled in the mirror as Ara and Sael moved to stand side by side, weapons at the ready. As the darkness receded the familiar calm face of Bremmic appearing did little to lessen their alertness. The old devil with his blue eyes and calm expression gave them a smile. Through the slits in his helmet, Sael's eyes raked over Bremmic's form. His left arm was missing, not that he had a shortage of others. From below his left eye down to his jawline the flesh looked like melted candle wax. His right arm was almost skeletal in nature while two of the visible extra limbs looked like… translucent tentacles. "Well, this isn't the greeting I expected. But then I never expected you to reach the Sunken City let alone kill Basilea."
"How did you know about that?" Sael asked while tightening the grip on his spear. Beside him, he sensed Ara's subtle shift in her stance.
