Shattered Shield
Svalinn opened the protective shell in her back to spread her wings while glaring at the Twilight Lord below her. She didn't even know what he had done to send her airborne but she wasn't going to let him do it again. Despite her hulking size, she was one of the fastest to ever roam the Valley of Death. In raw combat ability not even Mellisa the hive queen could compete. That she lacked any magical abilities was the only reason she was second. Her wings just began to beat when the Twilight Lord disappeared and a knee collided with her face. Tumbling back head over heels she struggled to halt her wild spin. She eventually managed to mostly stabilize, still wobbling mid-air as she slowed. Before she could locate her enemy their right heel, the one that wavered and shimmered as if no longer solid, collide with her face.
