Chapter 4: Recomposition and Wizards

- "Well, I think that's it, now I know what to do, my big objective."

Simon thought as he watched an owl deliver a letter to Heloise and then leave.

2 months before

The next day, Simon woke up late, he couldn't sleep well thinking about what new goals he should pursue. Simon believed that fusing the three types of alchemy and creating a philosopher's stone would be enough of an objective, but now he felt lost.

After analyzing some things in more depth, the philosopher's stone itself is a fusion of the 3 types of alchemy, but Simon was so absorbed in his growing ego that he didn't even notice, and the regression of his mentality also didn't help much.

Simon was lost and helpless, but he continued his research. He tried to use the new energy within him for various things and noticed that in addition to allowing the use of transmutation circles up to a distance of 5 meters, it also granted telekinetic powers, at least he was able to pick up small items and make them float.

Simon also tried to learn how to use Alcahestria, but his knowledge about it was very shallow, and because it was as complex as Amestris's alchemy, he left it aside most of the time. And finally, the restoration.

The recomposition of subjects was difficult to master, but Simon managed it. Looking at the small stone in his hand, Simon smiled happily, even though it was a little crooked and deformed.

Mastering Decomposition in 2 Months While Devoting Himself to Other Things, Simon could only say that the Elric brothers' talent was frightening. After completing the recomposition, Simon took the last step to becoming a federal alchemist, which was to use transmutation.

Comprehension, decomposition and recomposition. Separately, each one has a different function than the other, but somehow, when they are together, they create something incredible, transmutation.

With that in mind, Simon took a rock weighing about 500g and placed it inside a circle different from the ones he had already made before.

Breathing softly, Simon touched the circle and used dystrophic energy to transmute the rock. Suddenly, it turned from grayish-black to a shining silver. Seeing the end result, Simon smiled and walked over. He took the rock in his hand and felt its cool and graceful texture.

- Pure silver, even though it is not gold, is still worth a lot of money.

Simon smiled and then took out one of his notebooks. There was a drawing of a pocket watch with the symbol of a lion on the front. Without thinking twice, Simon studied every detail of the watch before putting the silver on it and carrying out the transmutation.

Once again. This time, however, it took a little longer due to the complex structure of the watch with all the small gears and small details that can go unnoticed. With the utmost attention,

Simon also mobilized his internal energy, or magic power, as he decided to call it, and began molding the silver into a pocket watch. At the end, Simon looked at the mass of metal in front of him and forced a smile.

- Well, I think my graduation will have to be postponed.

After reshaping the silver into a small bar, Simon went to take a shower and then go to bed. Over the next few days, he began trying to model the watch while thinking of a new goal.

One day, while everyone was having breakfast, an owl suddenly appeared, carrying a letter. She flew to Heloise after looking at the children, and after delivering the letter, she left.

- What was that?

- An owl delivering mail

- That's cool, here's what it says, Heloise.

- I don't know.

- Open it.

- Yea

Heloise opened the letter and read it in front of her brothers,

HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT AND MAGIC

Principal: Albus Dumbledore (Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Wizard, Chief Warlock, Supreme Chief, International Confederation of Wizards)

Dear Mrs. Adamina

We are pleased to inform you that you have a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. We are attaching a list of required books and equipment.

The school year starts on September 1st.

We await your owl until July 31st at the latest.

Yours sincerely, Minerva McGonagall, Deputy Director

- This is a joke?

- Hey, Heloise, you're a witch?

-Don't be stupid, Carlos.

- What are you going to do, Heloise?

- Are you going to go away?

- No, Heloise can't go.

- Calm down, I'm not going to leave, okay? I'll speak to director Victoria.

Heloise got up and went to meet Principal Victoria after comforting the younger children, while the children argued whether the letter was true or not. However, what no one noticed was that unlike everyone else, Simon didn't have an expression of surprise or confusion; instead, his eyes shone as if something was finally confirmed. n fact, Simon always had doubts about this world, but he couldn't confirm which world he was in.

I mean, England, late 20th century. With the strange energy inside him that allowed him to manipulate things around him, he had some suspicions, but he didn't want to jump to conclusions.

But now that he has basically confirmed that he is in the world of Harry Potter, plus comparing the time they will no doubt be together at school, Simon started planning what to do next.

Simon always considered himself unique, and because he was the only user of alchemy, he thought his life would be just studying and advancing. Although focused, he had no clear objective until now.

As if to confirm Simon's suspicions, a week later, an elegant lady arrived at the orphanage, and after a conversation with the director, Victoria took Heloise away. She also used a spell that erased everyone's memories of where Heloise was going, including Simon's. Luckily, he knew this could happen, so he wrote everything down and hid it.

When he reread his notes, he realized that he had actually forgotten where Heloise was going. Confirming that there was a magical world, Simon decided to prepare to leave, staying here was no longer useful for him, in addition to hindering the evolution with which he could practice.

But for now, he needed to prepare himself. First, find a place to settle; second, find a source of materials for research; and lastly, get contact with the magical world. Having decided on his next steps, Simon began preparing.

Over the next few days, he still saw Heloise until she left for Hogwarts, along with the elegant woman who was actually the Vice-Principal of Hogwarts. She glanced briefly at Simon as if she sensed that he could also be a future wizard, but as she was running out of time, she couldn't speak to him.

- If he really is a wizard and comes to Hogwarts at the right time, I don't need to rush things.

- You said something, Deputy Headmistress McGonagall.

- It's nothing, Heloise, in fact, I already told you that you can call me Professor.

- Sorry.

- You don't need to apologize for anything, my dear; you are a witch; be proud of that.

- Yes ma'am.

Seeing the smile on Heloise's face, Minerva smiled and led her to platform 9 ¾  Where, after watching her board, she used a port key to leave for Hogwarts. Normally she didn't do this sort of thing, but unfortunately there was no one available to accompany Heloise, and as a Muggle orphan, she had to be responsible for her, at least until she was at school.
