Chapter 13

They kept chatting until every resident of the Sakurasou finally arrived. Xander suddenly stood up and walked in the kitchen making Jin confuse what he is doing. "He's going to cook" Shiina said to Jin making him even more confuse. 'You're making a guest cook now?' he started to question if his common sense still working.

"Please make it tasty Xander-kun~!" Misaki said while already imagining what luxury foods are they going to eat tonight. Money isn't a problem for Xander since he sold many things from the storage to Sona, she bought many things making his pocket overweight. "Yes, yes" Xander just replied lazily.

He brought the ingredients which is pork, bacon, honey, salt, pepper and olive oil, he prepared the cooking pan, season the pork and seared the the pork in high heat in little oil for 5 minutes just to cover it in brown. He gracefully wrapped the pork in bacon and put it in the pan, he drizzled it with honey and roughly spread it with just a spoon. He baked it in the over at 200°C/390°F for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes he took it from the oven and basted it using the juices from the pan and returned it in the over cooking for another 5 minutes. The final product was beautiful, it was even shining brightly.

The smell invaded their nose as they can't help but peek at the kitchen to watch what's happening but the view was blocked by Xander's wide back making them backed down and just stay in the living room disappointed. They were looking forward to the food that Xander would make.

After a few minutes of hellish waiting, Xander finally left the kitchen as he made the thing even more dramatic by covering the food, the few seconds that Xander took to arrive at the table looked like the last few seconds of their life. Xander placed the tray in the table and slowly opened the lid, the promptly covered their eyes because they were blinded by the light coming from it.

Everyone finally saw what the dinner is and were astonished by how luxurious the food look, even though it was made with just a few ingredients that Xander bought in the convenience store.

"Here you go! Bacon-Wrapped Pork Tenderloin!!" Xander exclaimed while the others clapped their hands. Xander skillfully sliced the food into many pieces and set aside some for the hikkikomori trap. Everyone was amazed by his cutting skill since its something that you can only see in a anime. They watched as he placed everyone portion on their own bowl.

Everyone was ready and they clapped their hands together and said "Ittadakimasu!" they took at a piece at the same time and placed it in their mouth. "...Hm!? What is this!? How can there be such food!?" Jin's reaction is the worse since this is his first time eating Xander's cooking. "Thank you" Xander just smiled at their reactions. It was much worse than Sona's peerage since they don't care about images here.

While eating, Xander suddenly asked a question "Kamiigusa-san, did you contact a editor already?" Chihiro and Jin's interest were hooked by this sentence while Misaki just shook her head while eating. "Why did you ask for a editor kid? Are you making something?" Chihiro asked curious why this kid is suddenly looking for a editor. "I'm looking for a publishing company to send my new work. Also I'm not an Author yet since I still haven't published my work" Xander said while eating.

Chihiro's interest was slowly fading, she already saw many new author being destroyed before they even debut. "Right~! His work was amazing you know~! I can't believe that a amateur made it!" Misaki's words made Chihiro regain her interest. "Hm, Its great" Shiina's acknowledgement was the final nail before Chihiro asked Xander to let her read his work.

If its just normal people saying that, Chihiro wouldn't even care, but the one who praised it are residents of Sakurasou who has mind greater than normal. Misaki can make a whole anime just on her own, while Shiina can paint a masterpiece that can make you submerge in it. And them saying that a light novel is great is equivalent to expert's rating.

"Ki-, no, Xander, let me read your work" Chihiro said with a determined voice. "Uh, no" Xander said, as he backed away from Chihiro. "Why!?" she asked while thinking that Xander might be a gay because he can't understand her charm. "I mean, why would I give it to you?" Chihiro started thinking about his words and found it reasonable, "Then, I'll introduce you to a editor immediately if you let me read your work" Chihiro said while finally looking at Xander with serious gaze. Xander thought about it for a moment before accepting it, him gaining an editor is a must. Jin was downhearted since he heard Misaki praising someone geniunely. He didn't try to enter deep in thag thought and just continued eating.

After a few minutes Chihiro's voice suddenly rang startling all of them "Ohh!! This is good, I wouldn't believe that this is made by a rookie if I didn't see it myself" Chihiro praised Xander while thinking about something. "Hey, Xander, when would you like to meet my friend? she is still single, don't seduce her okay?" Chihiro said while winking at him.

"I'm not interested in seducing her but can you introduce her as fast as you can? Also please arrange meeting in night only, I'm busy whole day for the next 10 days, in exchange I'll cook for the dinner" Xander said while wiping his face with a hankerchief. Chihiro accepted his words "I'll talk to her" Xander just nodded his head.

"By the way, Shiina how is school? Is it boring?" Xander asked Shiina about her situation as Shiina merely nodded "Hm. Its no fun" She said. "If you were a student of Kuoh, you wouldn't be bored at all" Xander said gaining a punch in the head by Chihiro. "Hey, don't poach our studen- ouch! What the hell is your head made of!?" Chihiro said while caressing her swollen hand.

"By the way, Kamiigusa-san can you let me see how you make anime? I'm quite interested in the process" Xander said while facing Misaki. "Hm~? You're interested Xander-kun!? Let's see, cook a meal for me alone, then I'll show you!" Misaki said making everyone stare at her. "Unfair Misaki" Shiina said while pouting. "Yeah, Hey Xander you cook for me and you can spend a day with this beautiful woman" Chihiro said immediately receiving a refusal from Xander.

After Xander accepted Misaki's condition, they immediately went to her room, "Uh, do you want me to teach you something?" Misaki asked if he really just okay with watching. "No, its fine, I just want to watch" Xander refused as Misaki started working. After 5 minutes Xander finally heard what he's been waiting for.

['Animator' skill acquired!]

Xander smiled widely as he raised the level up to 7, knowledge flowed into his brain. Misaki was confused by Xander's smile, she was about to continue when Xander suddenly pointed out something and corrected it. 'Huh..? I thought he didn't know about this' Misaki was baffled by what she is seeing. "Xander-kun? I thought this is your first time seeing a anime being made?" Misaki finally asked as she couldn't hold her curiosity.

"Oh? Yeah, this is my first time, I just learned it right now" Misaki stopped at her place thinking the she heard it wrong. "..Did I heard it wrong?" She asked again. "Uh, no? I learned it just right now" Misaki couldn't believe what he said so she tried asking many questions to him about Animation but he answered it all correctly shocking her even more. All the effort she spent trying to master Animation was being destroyed by this man who became an expert just by watching it for 5 minutes.

'So this is what Jin feeling huh?' Misaki finally understood why Jin doesn't want to be with her yet, she can feel that she would be destroyed under Xander's shadow if she became his girlfriend.

Xander helped Misaki in many things and they finally went downstairs after 30 minutes. Xander went home after saying goodbye to everyone while Chihiro talked to Misaki seeing her downcast face.

"Misaki, what happened?" Chihiro asked worried that something might have happened inside in the room. "Uh, nothing, I just realized that there are really aliens in this world" Chihiro was confused by her words as she instructed her to elaborate. "That guy, Xander is a monster... He became a expert Animation Designer just by watching me work for a mere 5 minutes!" Misaki's words shocked Chihiro, mastering something in 5 minutes is more than just monster, its already like a God.

"Maybe he's really a Animation Designer, he just came to your room to brag?" Chihiro asked thinking that its impossible. "I considered that too, but when he first entered my room, his eyes were like an amateur he didn't even know what the equipments do, and he kept asking questions on how to work with them" Misaki said while sighing.

Chihiro can't deny it anymore as she could only hope that Xander wouldn't become arrogant the moment he became a higher existence.
