Chapter 44 The Dragon and The Blade

As Cyril was fighting with Cheryl and Ares was blocking Aku another battle was going on. Maxwell was fighting Ryu and Guy. "Another trash." Ryu said as he looked at Maxwell while Guy looked at him in fury as he said "You killed so many innocents in Atlantis now it's your turn."

As Guy finished he vanished and appeared right behind Maxwell as he chopped down on his neck with all his might. But Maxwell stood there unfazed and suddenly Guy's hand stopped a millimetre away from Maxwell's neck.

"So you noticed?" Maxwell asked as he started to transform into fire. Guy's chakra hand blade had been corroded by poison and he jumped back as fast possible. It was too late though as Maxwell threw a fireball at Guy.

While this happened Ryu's Earthen Dragon started eating the ground while his Azure Dragon wrapped around his left arm. Soon the Earthen Dragon shot an arrow of compressed earth at Maxwell as Ryu jumped onto it.

Maxwell had been distracted by Guy so he barely had any time to defend against Ryu's attack as he shot a flamethrower of constant flames.

"BOOM!" Guy crashed into the ground and rolled back a bit as Ryu pierced through the flamethrower and punched Maxwell right in the face sending him hurdling back.

But Ryu was still flying forward though so as Maxwell flew in the air Ryu punched him again and again. The arrow soon stopped though and fell to the ground.

There battle had now moved 100s of meters away as Guy race towards them along with the Earthen Dragon. "You're worthy of the name Dragon King but I've still won." Maxwell said as he jetted himself into the air with flames.

As he proppeled himself higher and higher he lifted his right arm up. Once he was at a high enough point he started generating flames on his right arm as he started to fall.

When Maxwell was 10 meters above ground he yelled "FIRE FIST!" As a gigantic flaming fist appeared scorching the ground around them.

As this was happening the Earthen Dragon had arrived and had transformed into an earring which attached to Ryu's left ear while the Azure Dragon also became an earring and attached to Ryu's right ear.

Guy had also arrived as chakra as black as night coated his entire body.

The flaming fist was flying down onto Guy and Ryu but they didn't just stand there, Guy jumped up and punched the flaming fist while moisture from the air attached it self to Ryu's right arm while earth attached it self to Ryu's left arm as he shot both of these elements at the fist.

"PSHHHHH!BOOOM!" An explosion echoed out as the flames were extinguished and the water evaporated. A crater was now formed as Guy was lodged into the side of it. He was bloodied and looked half dead as he had used all his strength and will to stop the fist.

Ryu was also tired but he knew the battle wasn't over as Maxwell landed onto the ground and walked towards them. "FUFUFUFU! It seems you're really the trash, Ryu." Maxwell said as he made a finger gun and pointed his index finger at Ryu's heart.

"I guess this is the end. I had a good run." Ryu said as he started crying a bit as he stood there ready to die.

"PUCHI!" blood splattered as a blue flame shot through Ryu's heart. He stood there lifelessly as he fell to the ground, dead.
