CHAPTER 10 : FIGHTING WITH MUMMY PART 1

Hearing what alex said all stopped their bickering

"good now all of you divide into groups so that we can cover more place" said alex

after the people are divided into three groups and stepped into the depths of hamunaptra in alex group there are oconnell, jonathan and ardeth bay while walking ardeth bay turned towards alex asked

"you seem to know us "

"yeah i know from ancient times your group protected this land from evil" alex responsed

" how do you know about us ?"

"it is a secret " said alex i cannot say i saw that in movie

"so you know what danger located here "

"yes i know the high priest impotep and his lover are buried here for their sins but i did not except him to be revived now he also wants to revive his lover so he needs a sacrifice so he kidnapped eve" said alex

hearing this oconnell said "you mean he will kill eve"

"alex tell the truth will he really kill eve ?" asked jonathan anxiously felling that his sister was in danger

"yes if we don't hurry " said alex serious felling anxious because the plot has changed he cannot say about the safety of eve while alex was thinking about eve safety inside the ritual room

"you what have you done to them " asked eve sacredly seeing the mummified corpses of american group at the moment impotep recovered his complete human appearance and also his powers

"you don't need to know now give me key of this book " said impotep holding black book of death

"i don't have any key " eve turned ready to run but impotep came in front of her and lifted her by holding neck eve tried to struggle while struggling the key fell from her pocket seeing this impotep let go her neck and picked the key from ground

impotep came to the ritual table where there is the mummified corpse of his lover and five bottles with various animal shapes which contain her funeral dust and opened the black book of death and began to read and tied eve to another table beside the mummified corpse she began to shout to leave her when he was about to start he felt some one is approaching the riutal site and read sone incantations and the paintings on the walls fallen to ground and mummified corpses began to appear seeing this

"go and stop invaders don't let them reach here specially the man with red eyes " said impotep remembering alex strength he may not able face him even at full strength the mummies followed his order and began to walk towards the alex group

while in alex group

"alex where are we why is it dark here ?" said oconnell

alex did not say anything observed the surroundings with fire in his hands and saw a mirror in the top of celing and shot the bullet hit the mirror the mirror turned and connected with other mirrors and lit up the whole room the whole room was ancient egypt gold statues and various jwels and treasures seeing this alex said

"let's go our destination is that way" pointing towards the other side where there is the entrance

"wow treasure can we take it after we return " asked jonathan

"first comes rescue of eve " said oconnell seriously

"see jonathan her husband is better than her brother let go" said alex dragging jonathan

came other side of room in the narrow side of corridor various mummies began to appear when they saw all of them ran toward him like he is their lifelong enemy

"i know i am handsome but i don't like mummies " moved at inhuman speed and punched them with his full strength and flew out and crashed into nearby wall seeing this all them shocked oconnell and jonathan know alex was strong but this whole on another level they could not help but ask

"Alex how strong are you ? " asked oconnell

"yes what are you ?" asked ardeth bay the strength that alex showed is not something that human posses

"i am 10 times stronger than a average person " said alex calmy

hearing this ardeth bay , oconnell , jonathan were shocked oconnell could not help but ask

"so why you could not kill that mummy ?"

" brute strength cannot kill magic see those mummies are coming again " alex pointed toward the previous scattered mummies

"you guys go and deal with that mummy i take care of this guys " said alex

after following Alex instructions the group came inner ritual hall and saw eve was about to be stabbed and oconnell shot the impotep on back feeling the pain impotep turned around and left the knife on table and came towards oconnell who is on steps above the pond

"jonathan you go free eve we deal with -----" oconnell stopped seeing impotep in front and punched oconnel in his stomach while feeling pain he held impotep hand and said

"go!!!! now "

ardeth bay tried cutting his head but impotep dodged and kicked in his stomach and throwed oconnell toward the ground seeing this jonathan ran towards eve ritual table with golden book in his hands which given by alex

seeing her brother coming

"brother hurry remove this restraints hurry " said eve anixiously

and at the same the mumified corpse began to move seeing this eve

"hurry " shouted eve jonathan also hurriedly removed eve restraints and eve gotten up from the table and at the same time the mummified taken the sword on the table and began to move toward bith of them

"eve how to deal with them " asked jonathan running with eve

"how the hell i suppose to know ?" said eve

"what alex said you can kill those with this book " handing her the golden book as jonathan gave book to eve Anck-su-namun tried to attack eve but jonathan stopped and while eve and jonathan fighting Anck-su-namun this is happening on the alex side
