POV: Ryomen Sukuna
It has been a month and a half since I started training Eva and Lucas.
They both have improved tremendously and still show no signs of slowing down.
The Academy changed its rules after the attacks and now, students are free to go outside the Academy. Though, during the working hours, the students are required to be in the Academy.
They also had to live in the rooms provided, and not outside.
Due to these rules, I have been able to take the two to some practice in low ranked dungeons.
Everything is going quite smoothly, it doesn't seem that something big is going to happen again.
Not.
.
"Sukuna"
I heard someone call my name. I was currently in my house, sitting on the sofa, reading a book about the history of the world.
There are only a few people in the house right now.
None of the servants call me directly by my name, so it cannot be any of them.
It can be my mom, but this voice was definitely of a man.
That means that this is . . .
"Yes, dad?"
I said, turning around to look at him.
He walked at a neither leisurely nor a hurried pace and sat on the sofa directly in front of me.
He looked quite serious, so I put down my book on the table and sat in a straight posture, looking at him, waiting for him to start.
"We just got a message from the Hunter Association . . ."
He paused for just a moment.
". . . our family has been promoted from a Rank 3 to a Rank 2"
My eyes widened, I did not take into consideration this event.
Rank 3 families are some of the highest World Nobles. There are about only 150 families in this rank.
High ranks are gained by getting merit and achievements, or assisting the Hunter Association.
Rank 2 families, however, do not assist the Hunter Association, they serve the Hunter Association.
Even though this fact is not openly discussed, almost everyone knows that this is the truth.
The workings of the people are controlled by the Association indirectly.
I assume that this is done to keep a check on both the investigation going on about the attacks, which my father is a part of, as well as me.
Coming out alive of a high ranked dungeon, winning the Tournament, these achievements have gotten me a lot of attention, but the fact that I do not have mana must have intrigued the higher-ups so much that they made sure to keep an eye out for me.
"I assume you know what this means"
My father asked me, to which I nodded my head.
"So you must know that they are probably doing this to keep you in control"
He said that and paused, before breaking out into a smile.
"That is a great accomplishment, you are just like me when I was little, I know you would not be held in my shadow"
He said as he quickly walked out of the room, leaving me sitting there, confused.
This guy likes himself a lot, doesn't he?
Anyhow, this is a good thing for me, as Rank 2's usually have more power and freedom, as well as influence.
Even though it means that you start to serve the Association, people still strive for Ranks 2 and 1 because the benefits are worth it.

SO BORED
My life is so monotone right now, I want something to happen, can't there be a terrorist attack or something?
Recently I've been addicted to randomly roasting people in conversations, it is so fun to see their faces, especially if the conversation is something important, or if they are an important person.
Anyhow, Lucas got depressed again, a girl gave him letter which called him to an empty part of the school.
As I had nothing better to do, I followed them.
It was really like a confession, I'd congratulate them already if not the words that came out of the girl's mouth.
"You are just a trash, a worthless clown, don't stick around Sukuna and ruin his time.
You're like hair in food.
Whenever anyone thinks of you, it reminds them to take out the trash.
You have got light years to go before you reach mediocre.
You look like something I would draw with my left hand.
Did you think I was going to confess?
See ya never jackass, when you look in the mirror, say hi to the clown you see there."
. . .
. . . Damn.
Then she just walked away without glancing back.
Lucas was literally frozen, I can feel his pain.
But more importantly, those insults were really good, I have to write some of them down.
By the time I glanced back, Lucas was gone.
Meh, I'll see him tomorrow.
.
.
.
He didn't come to train.
. . .
Did he lose his motivation from just that?
Man, now I got–
Oh, I see!
The girl told him to stay away from me, so he is doing just that.
That guy is probably training like normal right now, I just have to find him.
I leisurely walked around the path of the school grounds.
While walking I saw a vending machine, a new one, one that I had never seen before.
At that time I knew that I had to see what items it had to offer and OH MY GOD I love this machine, I own it now.
It sells SO MANY good ice-creams.
But what is . . . pizza ice-cream?
I guess I'll try that first.
.
I bought and tasted that ice-cream and NO, do not do this mistake EVER.
It tasted like you put water on pizza, froze it, and kept it frozen for a year.
Oh, but it's not over, do I see . . . COFFEE ICE-CREAM?
.
I spent the next 130 minutes tasting ice-cream, completely forgetting what I was going to do.
When I randomly walked around school, I saw Lucas and Eva sitting together, and Lucas . . . crying?
How did those two get together?
Wait, and she just gets up and leaves
Well, okay.
I guess I'll talk to him then.
.
.
.
Surprisingly, Eva actually consoled him a little.
I also used some talk-no-jutsu, and he seems much better now, although still not completely recovered from the ruthless attacks yesterday, which I doubt he will in the near future.
Today was quite a non-boring day, I tasted many new ice-cream flavors hehe.
Why can't every day be like this?

This is an emergency, I repeat, this is an emergency.
All residents of the city are requested to evacuate as fast as possible.
Retreat at least 300 meters away from the ITAAS Academy, following the routes sent onto everyone's devices.
Please stay calm and cause no chaos, everyone is trying their best to get the situation under control.
