POV: Sukuna

Eva's ability is not that difficult to understand.

She has almost never used ice attacks on large-scale, disguising her ability as slashing attacks, keeping it as a hidden card.

Since I use slashing attacks myself, I just gave her a few tips that could make it easier for her, such as the orientation of the slices.

I told her to practice creating the ice she uses to slice, as its shape was still imperfect.

I left the physical training for later, as she was currently recovering.

I will test some of her abilities later to find out more variations for them, but I believe that I would only have to give hints and pointers, she will take care of the rest.

Now, I'm sitting in a chair in front of Lucas in his room, while he is sitting on his bed, looking at me.

"So, for me to train you, I need to know your ability, and not like those half-hearted descriptions you wrote before. I want to know EVERYTHING"

I said, watching Lucas closely.

He took a deep breath and started.

"My special ability is one I named Echo, using it, I can record everything that happens around me, last time I checked, in a 35 meter radius.

I can also watch it inside my mind, or transfer it into a storage device by transferring mana."

That was a brief description, but I guess he never deeply thought about his abilities.

"Can you view while recording?"

I asked, in return to which I got looked at by a confused face.

"I mean, if you are recording something, can you see it in real time? If not, then how about after 1 second, or so?"

He closed his eyes, I guess he'll try it right now.

"Can you do some action, like raising your hand, please"

He said to me.

I raised my hand in the air. He opened his eyes and said.

"I cannot view it in real time, but it seems that I can view the recorded video while recording it, but it has a delay of a little more than 2 seconds."

This is quite a big find, if he can decrease this delay time, he would be one of the best in hand-to-hand combat, as he could see every single move the opponent does in real-time.

Moreover, if he learns to keep it up subconsciously, then a surprise attack would be basically impossible on him.

If he also trains to increase the radius, then he might become unmatched in information gathering.

All in all, he has a lot of potential.

"How long can you keep a recording up?"

He paused for a few seconds and then said, "About 5 minutes"

That is quite low, if I assume that keeping it up requires physical stamina, then exercise should help, but it is more probable that it requires mental stamina, or maybe even both.

Hence, I will train him to increase both kinds of stamina.

I talked to my health specialist, that my parents kept for me, and asked her to create a diet and workout plan for Lucas, which she completed in under 1 hour, including the time Lucas had to tell her information about himself.

I told Lucas to try to keep the recording open for as long as he can.

He reported that he had a headache, and as time went on, it became worse, and eventually, he fell unconscious.

But, next time, he could do it for longer, by about 2 seconds. It might have even been a fluke, so we tested it again.

Now, his time increased by about 2 seconds again.

As I said that to him, his face changed to one filled with horror, he snapped his head towards me to see me grinning.

He knew what was coming.

Lucas fell unconscious 23 times that day.

England's Administration has been taken over by the Hunter Association, which makes it a part of the Hunters' Union and the 57th country to come under the rule of the Hunter Association.

A man in a suit turned off the television that was broadcasting the latest news.

He turned to face a pale man with black hair, who was wearing a suit.

They were both sitting in a dark room, which was completely empty, except for two chairs and a table.

The man, Zekuth, turned to face the man in a suit, Aiden, the Head of the Hunter Association, who had an emotionless face, and was not looking into his eyes, but at the cup of tea that is placed on the table.

He picked up the cup of tea and took a sip, pausing for half a second after that, before opening his mouth to say . . .

"You did your job splendidly"

"Thank you for your praise."

Zekuth responded with a little bow of his head.

"I also assume that your plans are going smoothly?"

He asked without changing his expression.

"The answer to that question might not be yes"

Aiden said, as a little smile formed on his face.

"Ryomen Sukuna, an anomaly, just like me"

Zekuth was surprised, this might be one of the first times that Aiden had acknowledged someone.

"Due to him, my plans were interrupted . . ."

He paused before continuing.

" . . . Our main objective backfired, Eva is now his pawn"

Zekuth was disappointed, he had done a lot of work to get Eva as a good tool, but ultimately, the plan failed.

"Our best bet might be to kill her along with Sukuna, just to ensure that everything goes our way."

Zekuth said, voicing his opinions.

"Indeed . . . Well, that aside, our work will finally be finished soon, at most 4 months."

Aiden said, getting up from his chair.

"You best be ready, everyone . . ."

Aiden said to no one while walking through the door into a dimly lit hallway, which opened to a beautiful scenery of mountains filled with vegetation and flowers, you could also see the main city of the Hunter Association in the distance.

Aiden spread his hands, as if he were looking down on all the beings in the city.

POV: Ryomen Sukuna

After the attack of demons, the information on the existence of demons has been publicized, which led to quite a big uproar, but it is suppressed right now, as people try to cope up with the reality.

The Hunter Association hired many famous actors, models and so on, to try to calm the people down by using their influence.

The Head himself delivered a speech, which outlined why they kept this information hidden for a while.

As for me, I already knew most of this.

Due to my father, I know much more about demons than the normal person.

But it does not mean that I know everything, I know only as much as humanity does, which is not too much, sadly.

You might be asking now, 'Why doesn't he know about demons, he played the game many times, right?'
