The air was tense, swords at the ready.

"Hurry up and protect Lord Danzo!" one of the Root ninjas shouted. "There's an assassin! Stop him!"

In an instant, fifteen ninjas formed a protective circle around Danzo.

"Pathetic," Kazuya thought with disdain. Danzo's first reaction to a powerful enemy was always to hide behind his subordinates, using their lives to test the threat. He presented himself as a wise leader, but in reality, he was a coward. Unlike Sarutobi Hiruzen, who faced challenges head-on, Danzo fled at every opportunity—Golden and Silver Brothers during second hokage, the Battle of the Nine Tails, and even the Pain invasion. Every time, he had an excuse, but it was always out of fear.

Kazuya remained silent, his gaze coldly sweeping over the Root ninjas. His domineering aura filled the room, instilling a sense of fear in all present.

"Do not be afraid!" Danzo commanded. "He's alone. If you hesitate, I'll take him down myself!"

"Yes, Lord Danzo!" The Root ninjas split into two groups, ten advancing towards Kazuya while five stayed to guard Danzo.

Kazuya's eyes lit up. "Here they come."

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!" He swiftly formed the necessary hand seals.

Boom! A massive fireball exploded in the room.

"What terrifying power!" Danzo was shocked. He had only read about Kazuya's strength in battle reports. Seeing it firsthand was an entirely different experience.

"Water Style: Water Barrier!" several Root ninjas shouted, attempting to block the fireball. Others used Earth Style to erect walls.

However, the difference in chakra concentration was too great. The fireball tore through their defenses effortlessly, engulfing the room in fiery steam. 

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! The Root ninjas scrambled out of the collapsing room.

"Not bad," Kazuya thought, unfazed. His mask hid any change in his expression.

"Take him down!" Danzo ordered. He couldn't afford to appear weak in front of his subordinates.

"Yes, Lord Danzo!" The Root ninjas drew their weapons and charged at Kazuya. Their fear of Danzo outweighed their fear of Kazuya.

"Kill!" they roared, attempting to embolden themselves.

Ten against one, they attacked Kazuya with precision and ferocity. Blades flashed, and danger lurked in every movement.

Despite the intensity, Kazuya remained unscathed. His level 5 physical talent and super speed reaction made their attacks seem slow, almost like a slow-motion replay.

"This is wasting my time," Kazuya thought, annoyed. He wasn't here to practice close combat.

In an instant, he created some distance. "Fire Style: Great Dragon Fire Technique!" He quickly formed the hand seals.

A dragon-shaped sea of flames erupted, pouring down on the Root ninjas.

"Scary Fire Style ninjutsu!" Danzo's eyes widened. It seemed the reports were true—Kazuya had Kage-level strength, and he was incredibly strong.

"His chakra control seems superior to mine!" Danzo gritted his teeth. Another genius had emerged, and it infuriated him.

"Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet!" 

"Water Style: Water Colliding Wave!"

"Water Style: Water Barrier!"

"Water Style: Great Waterfall Technique!"

The Root ninjas who could use Water Style ninjutsu retaliated frantically.
