As Max and his crew journeyed through their adventures, they stumbled upon historical lore and tales of a legendary explorer named Montblanc Noland. Noland's exploits were shrouded in mystery, with tales of his travels and discoveries woven into the fabric of history.
Driven by curiosity and the quest for knowledge, Max sought more information about this renowned figure. In a remote port town, they encountered an old seafarer who claimed to have insights into the fabled adventures of Montblanc Noland.
"You seek Noland, do ya?" the weathered sailor asked, squinting through his aged spectacles. "Stories say he explored the uncharted, including Sky Island but stories also say he was a big liar."
Max's interest peaked at the mention of Sky Island. Eager to learn more, he engaged the sailor in conversation, drawing maps in the sand and discussing Noland's legendary logbook that supposedly contained clues to the whereabouts of Skypiea.
The sailor recounted stories of Noland's bravery and the mysteries he unraveled. He pointed Max towards ancient ruins and forgotten libraries where fragments of Noland's journal might be found.
Following the clues, Max and his crew embarked on a daring quest, facing perilous jungles, uncharted waters, and ancient ruins that held remnants of Noland's legacy. Piece by piece, they unearthed clues, piecing together the enigmatic tales of Noland's discoveries and his journey to Sky Island.
Amidst their quest, Max found himself in a remote island's archives, poring over a preserved scroll believed to contain excerpts from Noland's logbook. The scroll revealed cryptic notes, sketches, and clues hinting at the path to Sky Island.
"It's true I thought it was only another lie of Noland" Nico Robin exclaimed seeing the documents.
"Decipher it and let us know the way forward" Max said, he don't want to use the Jack's compass for this as he wants to experience the real thrill of adventure.
Guided by the wisdom gleaned from the scroll and the tales they pieced together, Max's crew ventured into uncharted waters, navigating treacherous currents and following the winds that whispered of Sky Island's existence.
Their perseverance and determination led them to a fabled phenomenon known as the Knock Up Stream, a natural force that will propel their vessel high into the sky.
They marveled as they looked at the sky rising ocean water.
Shiki, intrigued by the prospect of using his Devil Fruit power to facilitate their journey to Sky Island, turned to him with a curious expression.
"Max, why don't we just use my Devil Fruit to fly to Sky Island? Wouldn't that be easier?" Shiki suggested, contemplating the practicality of harnessing his abilities for aerial travel.
Max, grinned mischievously in response to Shiki's suggestion. "Where's the fun in taking the easy route, Shiki?" he quipped, his eyes glinting with excitement.
"Using our Devil Fruit to fly would indeed be convenient, but where's the thrill of exploring and encountering the unexpected along the way?" Max continued, his tone reflecting his enthusiasm for the journey itself.
Shiki chuckled, realizing Max's penchant for embracing the adventure rather than opting for a straightforward solution. "You're right, Captain. The journey is as important as the destination," he agreed, acknowledging the excitement of the unknown that lay ahead.
The exchange highlighted Max's preference for the unpredictable and the thrill of discovery during their voyage to Sky Island, showcasing his adventurous nature and determination to savor every aspect of their journey.
With a shared understanding, Max and his crew continued their expedition, arriving at the location of knock up stream, eager to unravel the mysteries that awaited them on their quest for the elusive Sky Island. soon another knock up stream formed, and propelled their ship high into the clouds.
As they ascended through the clouds, the silhouette of Skypiea emerged before their eyes—a breathtaking vista that fulfilled the legends they'd pursued.
In this momentous encounter, Max and his crew beheld the wondrous Sky Island, a testament to their unwavering resolve, their thirst for adventure.
The crew's eyes widened in wonder at the sight of the magnificent landmass hovering amidst the celestial heavens. The ethereal nature of the island, its lush landscapes, and the mystique of its golden city enthralled their senses, leaving an indelible impression on their adventurous spirits.
Max's eyes sparkled with a blend of exhilaration and satisfaction. The realization of reaching this mythical destination, a realm believed to exist only in legends, stirred a sense of accomplishment within him. It was a testament to their resilience, unity, and unshakable resolve throughout their journey.
Shiki, standing beside Max, shared in the awe-inspiring moment. "Captain, would you look at that!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with amazement. The crew marveled at the vastness of the floating island, feeling a rush of exhilaration knowing they stood upon uncharted grounds.
Even the giants, were captivated by the grandeur of the Sky Island. Their rumbling laughter echoed across the heavens, adding to the sense of triumph and jubilation that filled the air.
"Come on it's only the entrance we have yet to fully explore it" Max said laughing to his crew.
As their boat sailed the sea of cloud, they looked at surroundings, and soon they reached the waterfall, there they saw a door which spelled gate way to Heaven.
Their arrival did not go unnoticed. High above, reigning over Skypiea, was Enel, a formidable and lightning-wielding individual who proclaimed himself a God. Sensing the newcomers' presence, Enel's gaze fell upon Max's ship, and he descended, intrigued by the arrival of these outsiders.
"Are you people from below the clouds?" Enel asked, seeing they don't have wings like other Sky Islanders.
"yes we are" Max replied, and thought 'He might be the ignorant thunder logia owner, Enel'
"Hmm, Okay I will give you chance to serve this God" Enel nodded and said in haughty tone.
"Is he idiot?" Shiki asked which didn't go unnoticed by Enel.
"How dare you mock God, accept this God's Punishment" Enel shouted and launched lightning strikes at Max and others.
Max waved his hand and created Ashen Dome, A Dome made up of Ashen flame covered the ship, protecting it from Enel lighting strikes. Max then jumped and rushed to Enel, making a fist he aimed at Enel face, Enel didn't dodge and smirked inwardly thinking 'Fool, how can mortal touch gods'.
Enel waited for Max fist to pass through his face and then counter attack but Max fist knocked him out, before loosing consciousness his only though was "How did he touch me?"
Max shook his head and then carried him to ship and told the giants to tie him up
"He might be logia user" Robin commented.
"yes but he is a fool if he thinks elementalisation makes him invincible" Shiki said.
"He has no knowledge about Haki but even if I don't use haki I can easily touch him as my Ashen flames directly attack life force just like Haki does" Max explained.
As they were talking a old guy riding on a pink winged horse reached them " Hello visitors"
Max and his crew looked at the new comer.
"You are?" Max asked
"I am Gan Fall, the previous ruler of Sky Island. That guy whom you just knocked out became ruler after defeating me a year ago," Gan explained, introducing himself to Max and his crew.
"So, you came to avenge him?" Max inquired, seeking clarification about Gan Fall's intentions.
"No, I came to invite you for the banquet. You capturing this tyrant ruler is worth celebrating," Gan Fall hastily waved his hand as he spoke, his expression indicating relief rather than vengefulness.
"Of course, let's lead," Max responded, acknowledging Gan Fall's gesture of gratitude and extending his willingness to attend the celebratory banquet.
With Gan Fall's invitation, Max and his crew followed the former ruler, intrigued by the prospect of partaking in the festivities that awaited them in Sky Island. The encounter with Gan Fall signaled a positive turn of events, indicating that their presence was welcomed and appreciated in this realm above the clouds
