Bitter Days

Maya opened her eyes slowly readjust them to the lights. She blinked several times and slowly sat up. She felt so weak and dizzy. " What's going on with me? She asked herself, holding her head in pain. The door opened as Stella walked in.

         " Oh No! No! No! Please, she said, trying to stop Maya from getting out of bed. 

         " Why? Maya asked with her feet slightly touching the floor. She got so confused and had no idea what was happening in her body. What happened to me Stella? 

         " um, hmmm! she Cleared her throat, you passed out. But don't you worry. It's nothing serious, all you need to do is get some rest that's all, she said quickly without mentioning the real reason Maya felt that way.

       " Have been doing that since I came here, '' Maya said rolling her eyes. Josh! her eyes brightened up when she saw him.
