Not A Lot To Go Off Of

The only reason Roman had dated Leslie for as long as he did was because she never requested to break up first. The rest of his ex-girlfriends had done that after realizing that he didn't actually care about them. 

Sometimes it took three months. Sometimes it took seven. Leslie was the only one that lasted more than a year. 

He was such an emotionally constipated idiot. He would kill to know what his younger self was thinking right now after meeting Penny at the wedding. One of the main reasons he accepted Leslie's confession despite them not hitting it off in grad school was that he was feeling the singleness after seeing someone younger than him have a wife that was pregnant with twins. 

The only woman he dated between the wedding and meeting Leslie again was a friend of Harry's then-girlfriend about a year from now. That hadn't lasted long but at least he didn't have to worry about his younger self running into her any time soon.
