Interview

Penelope had a hard time sleeping in anticipation so she barely made it to work on time the following morning. She had a hard time focusing too. Tomorrow. She might be going home tomorrow!

Jack noticed her sense of excitement and called her out on it when they were both between calls. "What's up with you? Something good happening this weekend?"

"Yes!"

"What is it? I've never seen you this excited about anything."

Ah. She couldn't exactly explain herself because of the whole parallel world thing. But there was something else that her other self might be excited about happening this weekend. 

"I got a second job interview for a job that's actually in the field I studied in college," Penelope confided. "It's later today. There's no guarantee I'll get it but…"
